A gas station on steroids! They have everything for choice cuts of meat, to homemade sides and vegetables, to everyday dairy etc. The prices are a little high but it’s convenient. Also the staff is usually friendly and knowledgeable. I shop here at least twice a week.

I visited Nashotah House Theological Seminary many years ago when I was actively engaging in priestly discernment. It’s a beautiful and holy place and worth visiting because is is lovely. Anyhow, while there, the seminarians asked me if I went to the Mobil station… which I thought was crazy. Who cares about mini-marts – I come from New Jersey, land of the mini-mart. They insisted that I go there at least once before I travel home. And I’m glad I did. It is the most amazing gas-station deli/mini-mart I’ve ever been to. Yeah, they have fresh coffee and all the usuals, but they had a butcher there, a collection of wines… it was amazing. So, if you’re driving to Madison from Milwaukee, stop in and check it out. Five stars. Easily. This typifies what a mini-mart ought to be.

Convenient with a great atmosphere inside. The deli is great and they make a lot of good food. The only knock would be how much they charge.

Co-workers would go here daily and I passed it up for about six months before realizing what I was missing. I mean why would I want to get my lunch at the gas station? Then one day, I was like, you got that at the gas station? Oh, maybe I am interested in going for this«daybreak.» They have a deli that is open during the day, which has some quality meats and salads. This is great if you want to pick up a pre-made meal or if you don’t feel like grocery shopping but need some deli items. I have had sandwiches here — reasonably priced, decent size and tasted fresh. We have also bought burgers here with specialty seasonings to grill at home. Usually I would just buy plain burgers, but we thought we’d try something special an they were amazing. In the summer they have a weekly grill during the lunch hour with chicken burgers and burgers. Its $ 3 – 5 for a fresh, great meal. On Friday’s, there is usually a long line for Fish Fry orders to go. People rave about it, but I don’t work enough Friday’s in that area, so I haven’t personally tried it out. Other aspects of the convenient store: they have the local Valentine coffee and it is priced cheaper than the Alterra across the street at a Great bread place(I’ll let you figure that one out). They also have some automated hot cocoa/latte type machines. A bakery also drops off fresh donuts, muffins, and cookies, which are popular at our work. I should probably review the fact that they are a convenient store — they are well-stocked with a variety of items(at a convenient store price), I would say on the fuller end of convenient stores(not just the bare minimums typical convenient stores have). So, all in all, it is a very nice convenient store in downtown Delafield.
