I would be lying if I said there was anything sold by the Haus Of Prime Meats that I didn’t like, and I’ve tried a LOT of their products. I do think they could benefit from better advertising, though. Unless you’re familiar with downtown Delafield, your average person would probably miss it. Offering an extensive selection of Boars Head deli meat and a large salad case, the Haus Of Prime Meats is definitely a «Haus» to check out.

I just started working in the Delafield area. I relocated from the Metro Milwaukee area that had a lot of good food choices for lunch. I was a little sad with the selection of food in this new to me area and had been making the mistake of going to a local large chain grocer’s deli. I am happy to report that as of today I will no longer need to settle for subpar deli food. Today I tried a premade buffalo chicken sandwich from Haus of Prime Meats Delicatessent of Delafield. I typically do not go for these clear clam shelled sandwiches but this one looked fantastic, and I am here to tell you that looks were not deceiving. If was fresh and delicious. I also tried the broccoli bacon salad that was about the best I have ever had. I will certainly go back again and again to try the items from their hot menu and made to order deli style sandwiches. I strongly recommend you stop by this hidden gem and try it for yourself!

Finally! I have found a place that sells quality. We bought a almost 2 pound porterhouse, pan fried this, and it was so tender it almost tasted like Wagyu or kobe. I also bought some of their red potato salad with dill and that was amazing as well!
From the outside, you are going to be like: «are you serious?» (I mean its a deli in a gas station! Put your inhibitions aside and go in! You won’t be sorry!

Don’t judge a book by its cover! This place is a rare find! It is very well organized inside, and has a huge selection of deli meats, fun packaged food, and yummy salads. We always stop here to grab supplies for a picnic lunch.
