Great used bookstore. Not as large as Chamblin bookmine, but still a large selection. Especially well stocked Florida specific selection. Found a 1st edition good housekeeping cookbook I have been on the look out for almost a year. Definitely worth a visit for any book lover.

I was pleasantly surprised with The Muse. I collect antique cookbooks, and this store had a better-​than-​usual selection. Usually one can find in the cookbook sections of used bookstores old Southern Living compendiums and 1980s diet books, but here I found some 1910s and 20s pamphlets and bought a 1909 housekeeping guide with recipes, cleaning and maintenance instructions, home doctoring, and a chapter on tuberculosis, complete with diagrams of medical aparati that I would never want anywhere near me, as well as an advertising cookbook with lovely art nouveau illustrations.
There were many desirable cookbooks there, too, that I didn’t choose to bing home. There was a great poetry section, too; I found books in pretty good condition as far back as 1850.
I omitted a star because the books were a tad overpriced, and I’ve read up enough to gauge cookbook prices fairly well. Can’t say much for other books, though I assume they’re the same way.
