Lr’s Pizza

A fellow friend highly recommend this place so we thought we’d give it a shot even though we saw the really terrible reviews. Sadly the bad reviews are all true. We tried the famous chile verde pizza and we took it to go. There was so much juice and grease it leaked through the box and all over our clothes. They use mozzarella cheese and I think it would taste way better with jack Or Colby. The crust is super thick and tough. It’s not completely awful they do give u a lot of chili verde its just its not a restaurant I’d go out of my way for.

Garbage Place. In competent people working at this place who can’t seem to get a grip on writing down orders properly. Paid for a pizza and never received it after waiting an hour, so I decided to get my money back. Also, the soda taste weird. I believe it’s the water which is off. This entire place could use a renovation, but most importantly, they need new staff. You won’t ever catch me eating at this place again. Avoid at all costs.

No this place is not good! It’s dark and scary on one side that looks sketch as heck, almost like their hiding something.

This is for sure a locals place, or an only option type place. Not to mention they only had water beer available because Madelo was out.

Typical mom and pop pizzaria environment. Customer service was good, waitresses were very friendly. But the pizza was overpriced for the quality that we received. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a combination aswell. Pizza tasted like regular bread vice an actually pizza taste. The ingredients were not so fresh at all and did not compliment the pizza at all! Wings were really good! Spicy and crunchy are the perfect combi! But overall will not come here again.

First off customer service was not a good impression, worker was not interested in making a sale. And when we ordered their famous chile verde it did not look good. Pizza was bland, ranch was bland, customer service was bland. Will not go back that’s for sure.

I love LRs if you haven’t tried the chili Verde pizza I highly recommend you try it. There’s a bar next door so that’s a plus and it’s a great environment to go hang out and eat.

One bartender was absolutely rude didn’t even know the alcohol she had on hand! Once I pointed out what liquor I needed for my drink requested she’s seemed irritated. I apologize I know what liquor is on hand when she doesn’t! When I approached again for another drink her conversation with another female which wasn’t buying a drink was more important than a customer paying for a drink. When going to the restroom there was not any toilet seat covers at all and there was a horrible smell. The only thing that made the whole experience was a young female Caucasian that apologized for the unprofessional manner. Other than her the whole experience was horrible!

Okay this place was awful. It was dark, dirty and smelled odd. The games room was a giant mess. We came in with quite a few people. Took awhile to order and get food. They don’t give free refills on soda, that’s pretty odd. We ordered thick crust. The crust itself didn’t taste good and it was hard as a rock. Toppings were falling off because they’d put sausage instead of ham, they just took the sausage off after it was cooked and put the ham on. Which was cold. The mushrooms were canned and not fresh. Big no no for pizza.
Won’t be back.

Chilli verde is awesome, but i dont understand why they dont give free refills on soft drinks and charge for ranch. other pizza place give these to you free.

The rating is for the pizza and not the place, the place would get prolly a two star but to be fair its a pizza parole and i don’t expect much from it. Keep my head down, eat, and leave. If you like heavy cheesed pizza and loaded combo pizza then this is the spot for you. Closest pizza I’ve seen that reminds me of the pizza that the ninja turtles ate (just not New York style). Do not eat this stuff if you got a sensitive stomach. Chilli Verda pizza is good but will do work on your insides if your not equipped with a stomach that can dissolve light metals easily. But like a other reviewer stated it can be hit or miss when it comes to oven operation. Eat it right from the oven if let to cool to much the cheese becomes solid and not very good.

I found myself in the sleepy town of Delano one this Saturday evening. A family function and they all decided to meet up at LRs for some of the famous Chile Verde Pizza.
Well, I had some chile verde pizza alright. In my opinion it wasn’t very good. Full of gritty pieces and fat. Wasn’t even impressed. Had the chorizo pizza as well and it was really bad.
Made me sick. Now I’m sitting at home with a huge stomach ache.
The dining area wasn’t clean at all. Kids running around everywhere bumping and knocking people over. This place was a mess. Bathrooms were on the raunchy side.
I probably won’t ever eat here again.

Been a while since I’ve came back to Dtown L&R’s Pizza and had their pizza and it still doesn’t dissapoint! Its still as delicious as it has always been. We just ordered the jumbo size plain pepperoni and cheese and it was big enough for 5 people. Really good pizza, next time I’m getting their famous chili verde pizza, last time I had it, it was bomb! Although the wait is a bit long at times, it’s worth it for good quality pizza. Good customer service too, I highly recommend this Pizza joint. Best pizza in town!!!

Definitely a hit and miss! Sometimes the pizza is delicious; other times, not so much.
It’s way over priced! The monthly specials are your best bet! ALWAYS ASK, because they do a really good job of charging you full price otherwise. The staff is terrible, the place is disgusting… no lie the bar side is cleaner. Oh and they charge an extra $.75 for a to-​go pizza? What in the world is that? Even legal??? I’d like to know!

We had the chili Verde pizza last week. all 3 workers got sick. had stomach cramps and diarrhea! Worse feeling ever!

Honestly I really love their pizzas! The Chile Verde pizza is always amazing and it’s has a good amount of spiciness. Paying about $ 11 for a small Chile Verde is a good price for the quantity. The pepperoni pizza is also great. The crust is probably one of the best parts. It has a nice crisp outside and soft inside. They have great prices and I have never had any problems with them. I always come here for a small Chile Verde and small pepperoni for about $ 21 and it is amazing. I definitely recommend this place!

I’ve been done with LR’s !! I had not one but two bad experiences. The first one I ordered a pepperoni pizza and when I took a bite realized the pepperoni was rotten, I took it back to them and the lady tells me yeah sorry your not the first one to bring a pizza back we had some pepperoni go bad !!! OMG nasty … The second time and final time I ordered a chile verde pizza and when I opened the box the pizza was brite neon green. I decided once again to take a bite and once again BARF. They used can jalapeños to make chile verde !! It was a vinegar pizza !!! You gotta be kidding me straight vinegar !! And never again. LR’s is done in my book … Tony’s is my to go place for pizza these days at least they still make decent pizza

I like the pizza at this place. I think its something about the cheese, they really pack it on. Sometimes Ill make a delivery order and they usually tell me 45 minutes but they get to my place in 20 to 25 which is pretty fast. This is my choice for pizza, some places pack on way to much sauce which is not really my taste.

After reading the reviews, I was a bit nervous about eating here. We ordered a combination, pineapple & ham, & the chile verde pizza. I loved the cheese! The crust on the bottom was crunchy! I wasnt too impressed with the chile verde but the combination was sooooo good it was gone before i could take and post a picture. It only gets a 3 star because it was 104 outside and it was just as hot inside. The beverage nozzle need to be cleaned, made the soda taste like, moldy water! Bleh!!!
Pizza was great!

This place is horrible! The owner has no idea what customer service is. As we walked in to this place there was a gentleman that smelled like he was covered in urine and needed a bath. With that being said, we were not comfortable with sitting on that side of the restaurant. We were told we were not allowed on the other side but when I asked if the smell was gone and the area had been cleaned (there were plates and pizza on the floor) he started shouting! I asked for our +$ 70 back! I’m sure they have a decent product but what’s the point when their facility is disgusting and their owner lacks common sense and customer service. What a waste of a 30 minute drive.
