We came here Friday night of memorial weekend with our two 4 year olds. Everyone couldn’t have been nicer. They let the boys play with a pirate ship toy at the table and let them pick a toy from the treasure chest when we left. The Crosby cheeseburger was perfect.(I left off the bacon which it didn’t need because there were two types of yummy melted cheese and grilled onions). The kids split mozzarella sticks and broccoli cheddar bites. The BC bites were amazing but I am 99 percent sure it had bacon in it… that is probably why they tasted so good. If you order wine, they crack a small airplane bottle which I actually prefer to some places that will give you a week opened bottle. My husband liked the coconut shrimp. We need to try the fish fry sometime. The $ 1 shot surprise is a fun gamble. We will be back.(The only downside is that no one offered me the little yellow card).

Dingy Dirty Dump! Based upon the false reviews we drove an hour for dinner with friends to find total disappointment and then drove to another restaurant to eat. Don’t believe the good reviews posted for Pirates Cove!

Read a review from a few months ago. Decided to take a chance. The food was amazing and we are tough critics when it comes to bar food.

I absolutely LOVED this bar! I went to Delavan for the Wisconsin Food Festival and found myself with about 5 unexpected hours to kill. While driving around I passed this place and noticed the divey outer décor looked like just my kinda place. We went in to the dark and dingy atmosphere feeling like real pirates. Upon entrance our fellow buccaneers harassed us on whether we were bears or packers fans. We passed the first test. Upon ordering two tap beers, we were given a chance at ye olde dice throw. If either landed on a 9, free drinks! No luck. Then we were given the chance at pull tabs, mine said half off! With every drink order, you had the chance at free or half off. Two taps was $ 3.65 anyways… no discounts needed matey! We ordered steak fries for $ 2 and broccoli cheddar bites for $ 5. Both were delicious, and(Tammy?) service was very attentive. I loved the atmosphere, the prices, the kitschy décor, the people… definitely would be my go-to place if I lived closer.

Have been to the area twice and have been to this bar/restaurant about 4 times. From the life sized pirate on the roof to the one inside, this is a Pirate lovers dream. The décor from the menu to the table coverings, curtains and decorations is nautical/pirate. The owners are friendly and welcoming. They have a good selection of brew, on tap and in bottles, and serve alcohol as well. I had an Italian beef au jus sandwich which was very tasty. Went again on a Friday night, had battered fish, homemade fries and garlic toast which were all delicious. The meal started with a relish tray with 3 salads, a cole slaw which was good, a very good seafood salad, and a Greek inspired macaroni salad that was outstanding. We were waited on by an efficient, very personable young lady by the name of Jaden. Went again on a Tuesday around noon just for drinks. The bartender Pam was efficient, hard working, and had excellent people and customer service skills. I was disappointed that they did not have the New Glarus Raspberry Tart; however, the New Glarus Spotted Cow on tap was very good. I also had a mystery shot for $ 1.00 which turned out to be some kind of chocolate liqueur which was very tasty. Prices are very reasonable. Overall, based on the décor/atmosphere, the service, the friendly staff, and the food I would give it 5 stars.

This is THE place to come in Delavan for a fish fry. All the locals eat here so you know it must be good and is family-owned. Portions are generous but you can skip the garlic bread. Would have preferred a house salad instead of their 3 appetizer-salads but otherwise, I was in heaven with their beer battered cod & potato pancake. If you don’t mind billiard balls in the background while you are eating, then come here… prices are reasonable to boot and staff friendly!

Ordered a couple dinners to go on Friday night as I take care of an elderly parent. The fish fry and shrimp dinner were above par and very generous with portions and fairly priced. Good service and worth a try!

This was the perfect ending to a great night. We stumbled into this great dive bar after attending the PJ20 show. $ 3 mixed drinks and free drinks if you kill the bottle or roll a 5 with a dice. I managed to remain sober at the concert but not after closing this place! We will make sure to stop back in next time we are here.

The perfect local dive and kitsch heaven. This dark little bar hosts a slew of Hawaiian and nautical themed decorations including a creepy life size pirate corner. Really friendly locals played host to our musical group on Saturday night for Karaōke. Drinks are cheap!!! Pitchers were $ 7 and my Southern Comfort and Coke was only $ 3. They have«Pirate’s Cove Shot Cards.» A little yellow card that gets you a free drink after you buy 10. My nice bartender, Kimi, let our group share a card, so we got our free drink really fast. Could feel a little sketch if you weren’t with a group, but def. worth a visit in you’re in search of local flavor and cheap drinks!

Great place to rip some $ 2 mystery shots before a day of boating. I also enjoy the creepy pirate statue in the corner that whispers to me to backhand the person sitting next to me for fumbling through an obbnoxiously loud bag of Sun Chips. God do I hate those«enviro» bags. This bar makes me feel drunk and dirty even before I walk in. Love it.

Was alright. Pricey for a fish-fry at a bar. I was expecting a little more. Like maybe all you can eat.
