Tired little bar. Same bands play there all the time, nothing new or fresh. Bartenders are friendly if they know you, ignore you if they don’t. Some bands are way to loud for this dinky place. A hometown bar that, I guess, wants to stay that way, much better selections and atmosphere in and around Delaware within walking distance of this place.

The best place to people watch in Delaware, period. Cheap beer, good music(fits the vibe), insane variety of patrons who are friendly and ready to have a good time. It’s not a craft beer joint(go to(barley hopsters, staas, etc)) it’s a zero pretension, easy going local bar that doesn’t give a crap. If you’ve ever walked through the short north and stumbled into Mikes Bar and loved it… this is your kinda joint. Bonus… a short walk to Hamburger Inn for drunk eats!

Great little bar with live music in downtown Delaware. Great prices, friendly local vibe. New owners doing a lot to fix up the joint — check it out.

My favorite bar in Delaware & a hidden jem! Great service, staff, live music and people-if you haven’t been here and like the above mentioned attributes then do yourself a favor and stop in! No food but eat 1st then head in for a great time!

All you need to know: $ 2.25 for a pint of Yuengling. That alone would make me a repeat offender at this dive. They don’t offer a huge variety of craft beers and the atmosphere isn’t the most savory of the establishments I’ve ventured to in Delaware. Other than the super friendly bar tenders and pints of Yuengling, there isn’t too much to be said for this place. Just another bar in a small town.

I went there years ago and the beer selection was amazing. So I took a friend there on a Saturday night. We were welcomed with an older man peeing by the door(great). So we went inside. Packed crowd and a live band. This is when I noticed that they remodeled the bar. As we made it to the bar, and finally got the attention of the bartender(which was hard since we weren’t locals). We asked for a Shocktop(which she has no idea what it was — even though they provide a beer menu at the bar). Then she asked us what flavor as she had to ask another bartender what it was. Then she came back and said they had no Shocktop. So I altered to Stella. Then she told us we needed to pay cash. OK — we didn’t have any so she told us they had an ATM but it doesn’t always work. That is when we proceeded out the door. I won’t be going back.

Kinda a canned beer and locals crowd, joint. Extra good service if you are a local. Better if you are a regular. That is sad, otherwise, the place would be super busy. Dig the live music here and a cheerful friendly bar personnel would bump up the stars… Why is that? If you owned a bar and had a wait staff, wouldn’t you want them to be friends with everyone who walked through the door? That is how you get tips, how patrons help you pay the lease or mortgage and you stay open. Make every patron feel welcome. Maybe someday. I will go in, dig my canned beer and live music and wow, it does take some coaxing, though…
