Didn’t know ANYTHING about this restaurant. We wanted Italian food delivered so we took a chance. BESTSURPRISEEVER! Delivery time was accurately estimated and the food was delivered hot and it was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant –dining there OR delivered! You won’t be sorry! Manga!

Ordered takeout using GrubHub phone app. I arrived when notified it was ready for pickup. Had to wait another 30 minutes for food to be ready. Sorry. Not acceptable. We’re not talking about a difficult order. One pizza and one pasta order. I had also pre-paid a gratuity that couldn’t be refunded. Too many other places around to choose from.

We had such a great dinner last night. The staff were very friendly and the food was plentiful and amazing. Best shrimp parm I have had in forever. The cheesecake was a perfect end to the meal!

My mother always said that dessert comes last. I am saying eat dessert first. That is when you dine at Fratelli’s. Why save the best for last when you can start off on a delicious note? So I am starting this review with the best thing I ate at Fratelli’s. Chocolate cake. No ganache, no crème anglaise, and no lava pouring out, just good old fashioned made from scratch cake. Nothing pretentious about it, plain and simple, but it works. Truly the highlight of my meal. Really, eat dessert first. The garlic ciabatta rolls are crazy good. As someone who is constantly watching her carbs, between the cake and the rolls, I was in a wonderful carb coma. So many of us miss the previous owners, Suzanne and Sal. They had such high standards, every visit was nothing short of spectacular. New ownership came in and made changes, not just on the menu but in other areas as well. This is to be expected of course, but not all of the changes are to our liking. With that being said, I will not be returning. In fact, I know several people that have not returned because of the changes. Luckily we live in South Florida where we have more restaurants than we can handle. We all have choices in life and my choice would be to drive to Mama Mia, just ten minutes away. Cutting corners is ridiculous in a restaurant. Justin, do you think we don’t notice? We have been eating here with our extended family for years. Eliminating the baked clams, I understand. They are a lot of work. But serving a nice sized salad(comes with all dinners) with a tiny cup of half filled dressing is extreme. Paying an upcharge for meat sauce is standard in all restaurants. But Justin, where is the meat? I’m paying the extra couple of dollars for meat sauce, is it unreasonable of me to be disappointed with the lack of meat in your sauce? Yes, I realize bolognese sometimes has carrots, depending on the recipe, but the carrot to meat ratio was way off. Justin, we notice these changes. We all notice these changes. Please don’t think that you can«bulk up» your meat sauce with carrots and expect us not to notice. My sausage, peppers and onions looked delicious. But when I bit into an undercooked onion, I was disappointed. The dish looked so good with all the nice sized pieces of peppers and onions. My date knew I was miserable, maybe because I was making my unhappy face, but he reached out to Diana(our server disappeared, more on that later) and asked her to return my dish to be redone. Diana is one of the original servers and a family favorite for years. Imagine my surprise when my new plate arrived minus the onions. What happened to my onions? Oh, I see, you diced them all up and they carmelized? I eat out a lot Justin, I have been eating Italian food for fifty years and my ex mother in law was Italian. I know Italian food and how it should be prepared. Please inform your«chef» that his explanation was ridiculous. He upset me so much, by his condescending attitude, I asked him to please leave us alone and to leave our table. Yes, I said that to him, but Justin, you allready know this. I am saying this because you looked me straight in the eyes, knew I was miserable, but kept yourself«busy» bussing tables instead of coming over to my table to talk to me. I would expect more professionalism from a restaurant owner. It was nice watching your«chef» work the room. I admit, watching him go from table to table, talking himself up was hilarious. I don’t know Justen, I certainly am not a chef, but shouldn’t he have been in the kitchen trying to fix his sausage and peppers so people wouldn’t be biting into raw onions? I truly did not enjoy biting into a raw onion and I am sure he could have been doing something productive in the kitchen where he belongs. This is just my opinion. Well actually, my opinion is that he was obnoxious and quite full of himself. Fratelli’s was a huge let down on so many levels. Our cute but quirky waitress arrived at our table, with a smile but soaking wet. I first thought she just got out of the shower. But when she fanned herself with a menu while taking our order I realized she was overly hot. I don’t know where she went or where she was during the rest of our dinner because she became a ghost. A huge shout out to Pierre and Diana for making us feel welcome and for being so kind. In fact, Diana actually had to help me find the onions in my sausage and peppers. Granted, she had to bend down and look closely, but she did find two tiny pieces of diced carmelized onion in my dish. Both Pierre and Diana have been serving us for years. If it wasn’t for them we would have walked out. One star is for Pierre and Diana. The second star is for your delicious chocolate cake and garlic rolls. I see no reason for any additional stars.

I ordered pizza and mozz sticks. First time I ordered online through Unilocal. It worked out perfectly with no issues. THEPLACE In the corner of the shopping center, so need to look a little for the sign. When I walked in the place smelled great, like Italian food was really being cooked. Yum. They were playing Italian music in the background as well. I was there at an off hour, so the place was empty and I was there for take-out anyway. So I can’t really comment on the patrons or what the service will be like. THEFOOD The pizza flavors and crusts were good and very New York style. The Mozz sticks were still hot and crispy when I got home, so I am sure there would be great if you order them in the restaurant. They get 3-stars. Not because of anything good or bad. Just that I haven’t eaten in, so I don’t want to judge in either direction. But I expect when I eat there they will get another star.

This restaurant is really a great place and this summer $ 10 special is an excellent value. I had the pork chop with Madeira wine sauce. The salad mashed potato and rice pudding for dessert. Jason is doing a great job!

Unfortunately this place has gone down hill fast. Had lunch there a few days ago. Food was mediocre at best. Dont be fooled by the cheap prices –They cut their portion sizes in half. Aside from the poor quality of the food, the place desparately needs a facelift. Sorry but won’t be back.

My experience(about an hour ago) was pretty frustrating. My infant daughter is sleeping and my pregnant wife is having one of those cravings for frutti de mare so I need to get take out. I look up Italian restaurants in the neighborhood on Unilocal. This place was recently bought by a new owner, who decided to change the prices, but not the menu. I walk in to order, the waiter points me to a menu and I order. While waiting, he charges me different prices and I pay. I then ask why it’s so much more. I don’t get upset to easy, but when he tells me these are takeout prices, I ask why he handed me the other menu and to show me the take out menu. He goes into the kitchen and comes out 15 – 20 minutes later with the food and the owner. He says there aren’t any available and prints one up for me. The veal parm itself is $ 4 more and you don’t get the beverage or dessert. Anyhow, told the owner I don’t mind paying money for good food but hate feeling ripped off and this wasn’t a good way to start things off. He’s not really too interested in me and If it wasn’t for my pregnant wife I would have left without paying or without the food. The food is marginal, probably wouldn’t go back anyhow, but with the overcharging I’ll never go back. Hope my wife appreciates what I put up with…

It’s an unassuming place in the corner of a strip mall. The portion sizes were ample and the prices were fair. All of the dinners include soup or salad, rolls(garlic or plain), dessert, and a beverage. The service was a bit scattered, but it was both a Friday night and Valentine’s Day and every table was full. The garlic rolls was the garlicky-est I’ve ever had. There were easily a dozen cloves minced and mixed with butter and slathered all over the ten or so rolls brought out for the four of us. Yummy, messy, and oh so pungent! The salad was a fresh and abundant mix of greens and onions and a tomato wedge. The dressing served on the side may or may not have come out of an off brand bottle. The minestrone soup was judged as just so-so. For an entrée I chose the meat lasagna and it was hot and flavorful, but(surprisingly) lacking in pasta. There was one thin noodle layer among all of the ground beef, tomato sauce, and cheese. I could have eaten it with a spoon more easily than a fork. For dessert there was a choice of cheese cake, chocolate cake, or spumoni. I chose the later and it was a ball of tricolor ice cream scooped right out of the bulk food container. Accompanied by a cup of coffee, it was a mediocre ending to a so-so meal.

The Pizza is better then Good! Great Pizza is Umbertos on Long Island, but for Florida, and Delray Beach, it is the best around! The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the food is very good. The choices are nice and everything always tastes fresh, without having to wait long. The staff are wonderful, and provide excellent service. I have lived in the area for 7 years, and just found iit about 6 months ago. Being 50% Italian, 50% Greek, I enjoy finding new places to eat. It’s not my Italian Grandmothers basement, where she cooked like 10 people were coming over for dinner, or hung her homemade pasta to dry, but it is good, and I highly reccomend Fratellis!

A great little Italian joint in west Delray. Very good deals on lunch and dinner. Very friendly owners and excellent service. You can get a good meal here every time. Great music/ambiance in an old-time NY way. I like this little place. Check it out.
