Unfortunately one of the worst customer service experiences! Makes me sad as a huge supporter of local business! Long story short… candy my daughter and her friend chose was marked 1.99. It rang up 5.99. Paola, who I assume was the manager was very unapologetic and would not give it to me at advertised price. Not even a sorry! Worst part was I was just about to purchase a bulk order of candy for a candy bar for a fundraiser at my own retail store! From one retailer to another, I know what can and cannot be done for the customer. Just bad customer relations and a bad representation for your business.

Fun for adults and kids to get your sweet tooth fix. Contemporary and retro candies as well as some great candy gag gifts.

The expression«like a kid in a candy store» must be referring to a candy store like this! This store is so much fun, it’s bright and colorful, spotlessly clean, and has a fantastic selection of candy and fun items. Many of the candies are offered in ridiculously super sized packages, like the 2 pound gummy bears or the sheet tray sized Rice Krispy treats. The staff is super friendly, we were greated as soon as we entered, and asked if we had questions or needed help. I really wanted to give a 5 star rating but couldn’t due to the high prices. No matter what you buy here, you will be over paying for it. Regardless it’s fun and worth the trip.

This is the 1st It’s sugar I found by Delray Marketplace, West of the Turnpike. Very colorful and bright. Great lighting. Sweet ideas to remember. Cheers It’s Sugar!

Yay Candy! We ran into It’s Sugar after dinner to get some sweet treats! A few gifts and one GIGANTIC Sugar Daddy later, we leave… Jackpot!!! Yay Me!!! I love this store, its cute, well stocked and well kept. They have a large selection of candies and old school hard to find nostalgia candy as well. Who doesn’t love to run around a candy store like a little kid? Definitely a must do when in the Delray Marketplace!

I ran into IT’SUGAR at a chocolate festival awhile back and remembered them having mango gummy bears, so when I was in the Delray Marketplace with a little time to kill I decided to venture in here. The store is very cute and is pretty well kept considering how many kids must be running a muck around here hourly. They had a very wide selection of candy including many nostalgic candies you don’t see in many stores these days(fruit striped gum to name one). There were also many specialty candy items like a giant gummy bear, giant gummy worm, and a giant sugar daddy… I’m not sure who needs five pounds of caramel on a stick, but they’ve got it. They also had many candy themed accessory items. Who knew Nerds made socks? My favorite part of browsing was the bulk candy. They had some gummies I had never seen before, like bananas, and they also had the uniquely flavored bears I had experienced at the festival both in individual flavors and a mixed variety. The only downside here was the price. A quarter pound was over $ 3 and a half pound over $ 6. That makes a pound of candy $ 13! To put that in perspective my favorite bulk candy anywhere at Wegmans grocery store in NY is $ 2.99 a pound. Definitely don’t let your kids run wild in the bulk section or you will pay a small fortune in candy, but if you are looking for something unique candy wise this is for sure the place to be.

Great fun place! Every kids dream! Tons of candy to pick from. Funny odds and ends for adults. Definitely way over priced though. Spent $ 7 for a small bag filled about ¼ of the way. Could’ve bought 4 bags of candies at the store for that price. But it’s a novel fun place to bring the kids and watch their faces light up. Just don’t get carried away filling up your bag or you’ll be leaving there with an empty wallet.

When we landed in Florida my mom promised my 2 ½ year old that she was going to take her to a special store. When I first spotted the«special store» I thought this was a tantrum waiting to happen. A store filled with a zillion different kinds of candy= crazy toddler. We told my daughter she could pick out 2 things. There’s so much to choose from here that id have trouble picking just 2 myself but it didn’t take her long to find the giant lollipops. «Mommy! Look at those yummy lollipops!» She promised me she was just going to hold it since the berenstain bears had taught her lollipops are bad for your teeth. I heart the bears. As for her 2nd treat she made her way to the impressive hello kitty candy and toy section and insisted on little suckers that are way too small for a toddler. Grandma being the sucker that she is gave in and bought them for her. We somehow made it out tantrum free and even more impressive I left without helping myself to bags of candy. It was hard to resist. Minutes later we were enjoying some sushi at japango and my daughter was licking her lollipop away. So much for just holding it and so much for dessert after dinner. She had the biggest smile on her face which isn’t surprising because its sugar is guaranteed to put a smile on any child’s(or adults) face.

I was in candy heaven… They have the best selection of eclectic candies and the traditional favorites that everyone loves. You can also buy candy buy the lb here they have lil scoops and tongs all you do is fill up your bag with whatever yummy sugary goodness you like and they weigh it. I think I spent something like 25 bucks I was on candy overload. I will def stop back in here next time I am having a cheat day on my diet…

This place is so cool! We went in and checked out all the awesome sugary snacks. They have candies in super-large sizes for fun gifts(or sugar tooth cravings). They have a variety of cool items that vary from gag gifts, pjs and of course candy. As we decided what sugary treat to choose, I noticed something that rather irked me. The bins of candy that we looked over, had little kids reaching in with their bare hands. I do not remember if I even saw scoops. The little kids next grabbed the candy with their hands and placed it in the bags for their parent’s to purchase. I would keep this in mind if you were coming here to pick out something in the bins. For me, I will opt for the boxed and sealed products only. Overall, this is an awesome concept and its just fun being inside the store. I wish they would find a less germy routine for the candy bins. =/

Those who know me, know that my «inner kid» never left me(and probably never will) and, one of the times it makes its presence felt the most is when it sees a candy store. Since I could remember these have always made me happy, I immediately smile when I see all the colors and candy options. Yes, I did eat most of these when I was little girl, but now, I guess it’s just the memory of a happy place that makes me smile and the little kid inside of me just wants to get out and start pouring candy in the«per lb. bags». I have learned to control myself, after realizing that a lot of the candy I liked before taste«different» now that I’m older still, and I repeat, these stores are one of my happy places. I even had a mini one, every summer, on my terrace. I loved going to the warehouse to find all the candy I could sell. Anyway, back to this candy store… When I saw It’Sugar I immediately smiled and almost ran to it. It is all big windows so you can see from outside all they have to offer. Just about every candy you can imagine, everything gummy(even a $ 35 giant snake), sugar candy, chocolate, jawbreakers in every size, gumballs, Nerds, lollipops, and so much more. They also have novelty things like cute Bandages, Hello Kitty and Mini Mouse things, even TED! I want one by the way… It talks! I walked the whole store taking it all in, finding something at every turn, and came out with some Mary Jane(My Dad always got those for us growing up), a bag of Sixlets, and some other cute things like«Sugar Bandages» that say things like«sucker punched» and«heartbroken»(my «inner kid» for some reason likes band aids that say things too, it says they’re like removable tattoos) :p I think having that«inner kid» is fun, I suggest you let yours out and go to It’Sugar, you both will have a happy/sweet time.
