Petermark Salon

The salon is very clean and has a nice atmosphere. I had an appointment with Madison a few weeks ago and couldn’t be happier! She’s willing to work with what you want and also what she thinks is best for your hair. She also really takes her time and does such an outstanding job on every client. I would recommend her to every person I know.

I had my first appointment today at Petermark Salon with Karma. It is a lovely salon, flooded with natural light, especially in the morning. Karma listened to what I wanted and then took at least 45 minutes cutting my hair in a short style. It was just what I was hoping for, and that is saying a lot since I’ve tried 3 other hairstylists in the Delray Beach area and I’ve gone away disappointed each time. Karma also mentioned that if I needed a «tweak» after living with my haircut for a few days, just pop in and she would happily oblige. The entire staff was friendly and professional. Although it was pricey, the old adage holds true once again: you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

Truly was the biggest disappointment. For the money you pay (in my case $ 200), actually for even $ 5 my hair turned out just horrible. I can’t say every stylist here are horrible, but just make sure they have experience and understand how not to bleach virgin hair. 2 stars because it was clean. I hope you don’t make the same mistake I did… I had to go to another stylist to fix the damage which took an additional $ 200 but it’s exactly how I wanted it.

We were visiting from NJ and my wife wanted to drastically change her hair. She walked in at 10:30, and was able to get an appointment with Steven for 11:30. Steven was fantastic. He listened, and gave my wife the exact hair style she wanted. It looks awesome! He couldn’t have been any nicer. The price was very reasonable. Now my wife wants to start flying down to Florida for haircuts. Oh boy, that may make the service more expensive. Everyone she dealt with in the place was great.

Yes, they are pricey but their service is amazing. There is a reason you have to make an appointment in advance. They stay busy because they are great. I read a review here that said someone was unhappy with Peter and he refused to do anything to rectify the situation. I have a hard time believing that. I’ve been getting my hair done at this shop for over 5 years. They bend over backwards to keep their clients happy. Expect to go out of pocket a little… but expect to have the best hair style experience ever.

Madly in love with the PeterMark team! Christine has been doing my color and Karma does the styling. Finally, finally my hair looks super hot all the time! Best. Salon. Ever.

I got a great haircut and blow dry by Laura. She was extremely knowledgeable and very precise in her work. I was very impressed. And Gio’s shampoo was wonderful! Both he and Laura were super nice. I had an exceptional experience and I’ll be back!

One name: Karma! Incredibly talented. Knows how to layer long hair. I’ve lived in many big cities and Karma remains my favorite/​go-​to for the most beautiful, blended layers. Additionally, she does amazing color/​highlights. And, her blow dries are EPIC. I have been stopped on several occasions after leaving the salon by people complimenting my hair! Karma! Highly recommend!

Gotta love this place. The staff are very engaging, and it feels like you’re under care of an entire team, not just a couple individuals. The last three times I got my hair cut, it was here. Very professionally done, but each stylist has tons of personality too! I’m never sit alone — I find myself always chatting with someone! I recommend this place to everybody looking to get their hair done in South Florida.

I went to Madison by recommendation of 2 friends. Immediately upon walking into the salon I was impressed by the décor, style and the friendliness of the front desk. Madison transformed my deformed ombré into the hair of my dreams, taking time to figure out exactly what I wanted and making sure I was comfortable and happy the whole time. I can’t wait to go back to PeterMark! Thank you Madison!

Christine Christine Christine! Not only is she a fiery red headed sweetheart she’s fixed my hair so many times I can’t stop going back. I’m a blonde so when I mess my hair up, it’s a huge deal. She always fixes it and gives me a treatment since my hair is also fried from diving so much in the ocean. She’s amazing!

I just want to say I drive from Orlando to see Marissa at this salon!!! They have the most amazing stylist and are very professional! I won’t let anyone else touch my hair after going to this salon!!!

DO NOT waste your money on this place! The prices are outrageous for the quality of their services. They invest more time and money marketing their business than providing good quality and attention to their customers.
The first time I went there, I wanted to correct the color of my hair, so I made an appointment with Peter the owner (paying the top price for his service). During my second appointment (again the appointment was with Peter) he had his assistant working on my hair this time, but charged me as if he had done the work instead. That was a complete rip off.
On another occasion, I made an appointment to trim the tips of my hair (which by the way, it was long and beautiful before I stepped into this place). The person assigned to do the trim took about 6 inches from my hair. I couldn’t believe what happened. I was so upset to see that the hair I had been growing for so long, was now gone.
After my second appt, I decided to make my future appointments with Peter’s assistant only (she, along with other employees quitted working at the salon)
Some other time, Peter’s ex-​assistant was not available to do a blow dry, so he assigned someone else. This person was so rough with my hair, that the floor was covered with pieces of it.
The biggest problem I encountered was that, in every occasion Peter did not made a single effort to resolve any of the problems. It felt like paying for the best coiffure in town, but with the quality of Super Cut.

Omg! Just moved to Florida from Cherry Hill NJ. Even though I have a lot of friends and family that live down here, I am very particular when choosing a hair salon as my hair is very fine and I had a great stylist and colorist in Cherry Hill. I saw PeterMark Salon on Unilocal and the salon resembles the one I used back home but, specializes in hair! My salon at home was a full service salon! It is worth it to just go there to use Nettie! She is a true professional and warm and creative. I love my haircut and color!

Last week I discovered they offer blow outs on Thursday at a reduced cost. Decided to check them out so booked to come in on Thursday to take advantage of that.
Marino was my stylist that did my hair. When I say it was by far the best blow out I’ve had in years at a salon, it is without exaggeration. I will for sure revisit this salon and Marino.

I first stopped into Petermark on an afternoon when I had received a hair color job that looked blotchy and yellow at another salon. I was greeted and offered an appointment for corrective color with The Head Colorist, Marissa, the same day. She was busy but worked me in and showed genuine empathy for how I looked and wanted to help. She did a great job improving my color the first try. I went back 3 more times and each time the color got better and better — a natural looking mix of medium blondes and light warm browns. My hair color went from REALLY a bad to better and better in 3 appointments for a fair price. At each appointment I felt welcomed by her and that same sense of concern for helping me. I also have had 3 cuts from Laura who partners with Marisa. She took a genuine interest in my situation and wanted to please me by tweaking my cut. Both of these ladies demonstrate strong customer service.
If you are in need of corrective color or a hair cut fix, the two fabulous ladies I mentioned above will be there for you.

Brie did an ombré for me yesterday (see photos) and I absolutely love it!!! I live out of town so it was my first time in the salon, but the rest of my family goes here all of the time and now I know why!

Worth the hour and 15 minute drive! Netie is the BEST!!! I always leave feeling beautiful!!!

I’ve been going to the stylists at Petermark for 10 years! They make me feel like a supermodel. Every time I leave the salon, I go on a selfie-​taking spree! Super self-​esteem boost. I go to Mark for my cut, Laura for a blow-​out, and Marisa for my color. I am always really nervous and picky about my hair and I have never been disappointed! I don’t know if I could trust anyone else! They always give me quality advice and their honest opinions.
I recently moved from South Florida… and I will be making appointments with them every time I come home. In addition to exceptional styling service, they also have great customer service, late hours, and nappy hour on Fridays! You can’t go wrong at Petermark Salon. :)
