I’m going to jump right in and say that the décor and service are the only good things about this place. I got the chicken pad thai lunch special with thai iced tea. The pad thai had NO flavor whatsoever. Tasted like I was eating plain noodles. Other places that can’t do pad thai well at least have SOME sort of flavor. This place has zip, zilch, nada. It was also seriously lacking in veggies. I was only able to dig up 5 sprouts in the entire dish(and sprouts are my favorite…). The salad it came with was ok, but they’d be in serious trouble if they messed up something as simple as salad. The thai iced tea was on the sweeter side and pricier than other thai places($ 3 as opposed to the $ 1.50 I’m used to paying). Overall, extremely disappointing. I’ve never had pad thai this bad before. Based on the other reviews it seems like some of their other dishes might be better, so if you ever come here, go for one of those. I, personally, will not be risking it.

After eating at nearly ever sushi and Thai restraint within a 15 mile radius, I ALWAYS recommend this place over any of them. Ziree and her family are the sweetest people, not to mention this restraunt is absolutely beautiful on the inside, the menu is gigantic which oddly enough does not damper the quality put into every dish. Stop reading reviews and go here. No seriously stop reading. Go to ziree.

I went here with friends from work and we were promptly seated. The décor was very nice and upscale and service was fast and attentive. My friends ordered some of the lunch specials and two of them ordered a sushi boat or something of the sort and we were in awe with how they put it together — it was quite fun and big! I ordered my go-to rolls — Spicy tuna and salmon and avocado but was a bit disappointed. I’m a bit of a sushi snob and the spicy tuna didn’t look or taste like spicy tuna(it wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t particularly good) and both rolls had the seaweed wrap on the outside which I’m not a fan of(and it didn’t indicate in the menu). In my opinion, it changes the taste and experience quite a bit. Perhaps I’m being a bit picky because my friends seemed to enjoy their meals, service was good and interior was nice but sushi is sushi and I want it to taste delicious. I thought it was OK. Probably wouldn’t be my first place to go to moving forward but for others, it may be worth giving a shot.

Ziree Thai, where have you been all my life? Well, I guess up here in Delray where I just moved to! This lovely restaurant is super clean, has beautiful décor, and nice lighting. It’s not in the congested part of Atlantic, so it’s much easier to get to and to park at. It features both a Japanese and Thai menu. For an app, we tried teriyaki whole grilled squid Japanese style. This dish was awesome tasting, but just slightly overbooked. As an entrée, I tried the Country style curry with shrimp — green peas, snow peas, bell peppers, zucchini and bamboo shoots in a curry sauce with no coconut milk. It was spicy and flavorful, but definitely very different. My companion had the Fresh basil with scallops HOT — this dish was amazeballs — perfect blend of sweet, savory, and spicy spicy hot. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I’ll be going back for sure!
