Great sushi and atmosphere! My wife and I finally got to stop in and eat here. We’re usually passing through and eating at a steak house close by because my kids at the time were not sushi fans but finally today! From the time we entered till we left the staff was friendly and courteous. Food from appetizers to entrees were fresh, tasty and had an eye catching presentation. Emily our server was fantastic, even working a huge party of about 20, she still managed to be right on time with everything. A must visit for us from now on when in town.

Great atmosphere. Weather it’s family night or date night, this place does not disappoint. I have yet to find a roll that I did not like. My wife and I like the specialty rolls, like the rock n roll and the volcano roll. Both are out of this work and leave you salivating for more. It has a very authentic feel to it as well, makes for a better experience. We really enjoyed it.

The food was awesome as always, but the service was a bit lacking compared to previous trips. The bar tender was engrossed in the espn network and a bit inattentive. I didnt really mind, the Abita Andygator is what you want. I love this place!

Arrived during afternoon(3ish). Place was tidy with 4 tables of customers, plenty tables open. I sat at the sushi bar. Ordered 2 rolls, sumo roll and dynamite roll. rice consistency was a bit firm. Overall rolls were average size and taste. Not bad for a LA sushi joint. Give it a 3.5 just over average. I used Unilocal to find this place :)

Love this place so much that I eat here every time I am working in Denham Springs ! Never disappointed with anything I have tried. Today was the Fat Tuesday roll with Miso Soup and it was excellent. The ambiance is great, music is cool and the chefs are very friendly. See you again next week !

I love this place! I wish they would open one close to where I work or live. Yummy! I am having miso soup, geisha salad and green tea. But looking around at everyone’s food and sushi is making me want to order more then I can eat! Will definitely be back!

I’m born and raise in Hong Kong, I would say it is the best sushi place I had in Louisiana so far. More importantly, reasonable price. Salad with ginger dressing is amazing and the clear soup is just right amount of salt with a little bit of rice noodles + mushroom. My husband chicken hibachi was very good as well. I saw a lot of great pictures with a lot of different kind of sushi, can’t wait for next visit and try them all.

Excellent sushi and sashimi at this trendyish restaurant. The staff was very polite and attentive offering great recommendations. I had the seaweed salad which was crunchy and good without being overly saturated in dressing. Then I had the sashimi appetizer which consisted of 2 pieces of crab, 3 of salmon, 4 of red snapper, and 3 of blue-fin tuna. All fresh and delicious. I also had the California roll which was very good and the Pacific roll which was excellent. Bill came to $ 35. Not steep for good sushi in general but a little more than I’m used to paying for the same thing. Worth it though.

So good I went twice in one week(2÷5÷16).(Although I think location had something to do with it) Upon entering the building I found it to be a little clostrophobic, the host stand is right next to the front door. The seating area is very spacious though, so that feeling goes away quickly. There wasn’t much décor in the place, there were a few tvs and the sushi bar in the back, but other than that it was pretty plain. They have a bar, it’s off the main dining room, so don’t think it’s dry when they don’t give you a drink menu. I ordered a Philadelphia roll and it was as expected. The service was prompt and my server had an upbeat attitude(both times, although I do not recall their names). A+ visit!

Great sushi! I went here for lunch during the week with my husband and our 1 year old. We all loved it. We will go back and I recommend them to anyone looking for a delicious meal.

One more star lost. Food is great per normal, but the sour faces and lying about a long wait time on evenings two HOURS before close are quickly turning us bitter toward this restaurant. Get a handle on your shit!

A little pricy, but the food and atmosphere was great. We sat at the bar, myself, my 7, 5, and 1 year old. They took very good care of us and catered to the kids as well. Very polite staff and the guys working behind the bar were awesome!

Holy moly this is probably the best sushi I have ever had. We started with the Apple salad, this isn’t on the menu but is worth asking for. The make it with or without fish. We got the one with the fish and it was an explosion of flavors in your mouth. The cilantro added a nice hint of freshness and I liked the shrimp crackers in the side for some added crunch. The gyoza dumplings were great, it was a nice portion for the size and came out nice and hot. For our sushi we got the sumo roll, there was a nice slice of jalapeño on top with crispy onions. This was absolutely amazing. The eel roll was good, nice portion, good amount of eel. The service was great. I am so glad to have found this place. I’ll make a drive out here just for that apple salad alone.

This place is worth the drive. I’ve always heard great things about the freshness of the fish and last week we made the drive. I love a fresh tuna roll — not a spicy tuna or spicy anything for that matter(google spicy ______insert fish and you will see why). I chose the Pacific Roll and the Sunset Roll. Both were at least 8 deliciously filling pieces. I wanted to try the Hamachi Kama but they were out. It is known that that item sells out fast so I wasn’t surprised but next time I will call ahead and reserve me a neck! See my photos of the rolls.

A present for your mouth! Geisha, although quite a drive from my home, is amazing and worth every mile! Their sushi really does have the«flair» that is part of their catch phrase. The chefs create rolls that are unique, exquisite, and flavorful. They really take pride in creating masterpieces for the mouth! The restaurant is fairly small, but intimate seating as well as larger tables are available. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. Try the Marilyn MonRoll. You will not be sad!

We went there for early dinner. The Kickin Chicken resembled the dish at Bonefish Grill. Very tasty and made to order. The Pacific Roll was good. I think because of the wasabi in the outside I was expecting it have a little kick, but it didn’t. The Greisha Roll was delicious. I have had this roll before. The Lagnaippe Roll was my favorite. The crawfish definitely gave it a different twist. The snow crab, crawfish and I think fried oysters gave it such a good flavor. They were cut into large rolls. The winner!!! As for the prices: it was about average. The food: wonderful! Everything was fresh and tasty. The presentation was nice with Everclear burning in small cucumbers. Nice touch! The service: very friendly and we were sorted immediately. Our waitress was very nice. Asked us if we needed anything but didn’t over do it. It was raining and I made the comment that I was cold. We ordered hot green tea which she put a lemon wedge and a small dish of honey for my liking. After dinner she asked if I would like a cup of tea to go. Wow now that’s awesome service!!! We will stop by again when we’re in the neighborhood.

3÷21÷15 — I must say, I forgot what SERVICE and QUALITY was all about in the restaurant industry until I stepped into this place. Our night, party of two, started around 8:30 when we entered the doors at Geisha. We were greeted with three wonderful smiles and lots of welcomes. We were asked how many, then seated promptly at a table for four. Sitting here for a few moments admiring the scenery, the low light ambiance and Blind Melon over head, brought a since of comfort, memories, and casual yet dressy atmosphere. Our server, full of knowledge and professionalism, asked if we have ever dine here before. Before asking about what we would like to drink, he offered a few of the house specialty drinks, then waited for us to reply. He took our drink order, and was even patient when we added soup and steam dumplings before he moved on. Within a few minutes, he was back at our table with drinks, soup, and dumplings. The steam pork dumplings with a sweet and tangy sauce was perfect with the miso soup packed with all kinds of goodies. He suggested the Chef Specialty which was GREAT! I couldn’t tell you what was all in it other than jalapenos, fresh mango, spicy tuna, salmon, white fish, cilantro, wrapped in sow paper, but the freshness of the fish and the light bold flavors was something my palate has been dying for. I’ve eaten at lots of sushi places, and this place is the best in the area hands down. Overall, this place hit the mark from walking in the door, to dining, and leaving. I would highly recommend this place, and I will be checking in again.

This place is so wonderful. Finally finally finally I have found a place to match Taste of Tokyo river ridge(in nola area). My boyfriend lives in BR so I was always disappointed with the sushi in this area because it didn’t wow me. Geisha has wowed me. First, my sister recommended I order Apple Salad. It’s off menu and only the owner knows how to make it. However, if you can order it. It’s a ceviche meets Vietnamese lotus salad. And it’s by far the only salad I wish I could eat everyday. Thin shears of green apple, pieces of boiled shrimp, nuts, all tossed in a lime type of juice thing that I can’t explain. Beef Tataki, green mussel were both wonderful appetizers as well. Lagniappe roll– amazing. Reminds me of baked green mussels and baked salmon on top of a roll. Massive amount of flavor here so don’t expect anything bland. I feel like you could eat it with rice and It would be good. Sumo roll– a roll with raw tuna and fried onions. I like the raw tuna and I thought the fried onions would be delicious with it, but I couldn’t tell if I really liked the onions on it. I typically love onions too. It’s different but it’s good anyway! I do love that the appetizers and the sushi rolls are both amazing. Other places here lack the combination of both apps and rolls being delicious.
