Rotolo’s Pizzeria

Usually I get the Bacon Cheeseburger Calzone and my wife gets the deluxe combination.
Tonight, I got the Muffuletta. Awesome. Calzone AND muffuletta. OMG. Has pepperoni, Canadian bacon, salami and Italian olive salad with mozzarella cheese. Can’t go wrong with that.

The food is always good. My family and I like the Greek salad and garlic Parmesan bites as appetizers. The pizzas are always good.
The service is hit or miss here. We’ve been here twice and the service was different both times. The first time, the waitress was great: very attentive and sweet to my little girl.
The second time, it took the waitress a while to wait on us. I went to the bathroom and came back to a waitress a menu to my husband and daughter, and she looked pretty upset when I sat down. She huffed and said, «oh, I didn’t know you were here,» like she knew me or something. She couldn’t have been older than 19 or 20. She was very flippant and seemed bothered by the fact that she had customers to tend to. Toward the end of our visit she dropped off the check and just disappeared for about 10 minutes; we were one of 3 tables occupied in the building and the only one belonging to her. If I could remember her name I would have made a point to contact the manager because even her parents should be ashamed at her service.

Great food, friendly service, fun family environment, nice mixed drink and beer specials, good management. What’s not to love. I would have no problem coming back time and time again.

Terrible service, yes I lnow most are under 20 years old but they ignored me. I sat at the bar completely ignited, food is not anything to brag about. The server was totally clueless! Hello, how do they exist here?

My daughters and I made the mistake of coming here on a Friday night. We walked in and the female staff completely ignored us and it was only after I made my way to the bar to ask if we were to seat ourselves that the nice guy who was working it said yes. He was the only one in the place who acknowledged us at all. The food was good. I just don’t understand why the nice guy working the bar had to come wait on us and none of the female staff on the floor would. Don’t think we’ll be coming back.

I love the calzones. Some pizza is good but the 4 cheese is hella salty. The salads are good but dressings are terrible. I would eat there more if there were homemade dressings. Oh well deangelos knows how to do it right. **I revise the comment about the dressings to say the basalmic vinaigrette is pretty good. It’s thick and not too sweet –similar to the one at la Madeleine’s. The greens are always fresh, never too wet, and a generous portion. I will say the tomato basil soup is really just the marinara sauce in a bowl. Overall, it’s one of the better pizza and salad options in this area. I’ve added another star to my previous review.

One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. The staff was very friendly and the service was fantastic.

Best pizza in town. Would highly recommend any of their locations in the Baton Rouge area. Great salads as well.

Amazing food and Best Customer service I have experienced in Denham Springs and the surrounding area. The first time we tried the place out my family and I thoroughly enjoyed every item we ordered. We liked it so much that the very next day my wife and I went for lunch, and then that weekend we went back again. The staff was polite, efficient, and made us feel like we were the only ones in the place. Price was very reasonable and it has become one of our regular spots to eat at.
