My wife and I stayed here in mid-July for parent orientation at UNT. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is very polite and always willing to help(we needed a toothbrush and also inquired as to why the Internet was moving at a snail’s pace. They fixed both problems.) ~ Breakfast looked good, although we didn’t partake. Coffee is always hot. I figure we’ll stay here a time or six during the next few years. Nice little hotel.

The hotel was clean but that is all I have good say say about it. The breakfast was terrible. Stale cereal, fake eggs and no skim milk. When we got to our room I went to the restroom and there was a nail sticking up out of the carpet right in the middle of the doorway. I step on it and it cut my foot. It wasn’t a carpet nail just a regular nail with head head sticking up about a half an inch. We are not sure why it was there. We didn’t have anything to hammer it down with so we stuck a towel over it until the morning. The next day was told them at the front desk, the lady said she didn’t have a hammer but she would ask the manager. She called us a few minutes later and said the manager was to busy and couldn’t help us. They could move us to another room. We were just staying one more night and it was late so we just put a towel over it for the evening. How hard is it to send someone up to hammer it down? Very frustrating!

The king size bed was amazing! And the entire hotel is non-smoking, which was hard to find. The staff was incredible, as we checked in at 5 a.m. and were able to check out at 2 p.m. For the price, the comfort and quietness could not be beat!

If I’m staying in Denton, I usually stay here because it is consistently clean, very conveniently located by the highway and the university, and the price is right. It’s not special, but when you just need a place to come back and crash, this will do just fine.

The motel is great. I loved the hanging decoration in the hallways. The room was nice and clean. Overall we had a great stay. Pool — 4⁄5 Service — 5⁄5 Room — 5⁄5 Location — 4⁄5 Completely worth the money we spent.

Not bad. It’s nothing to write home about, but it’s right off the freeway, and it was a convenient place to stay during the time we were in Texas. There’s a gas station and a 7 – 11 right there too, and a couple places to eat as well(Burrito place, hot wings place, sandwiches, and an Indian restaurant). The room was clean and spacious, and there was an elevator inside the building. I just added it to Unilocal because I noticed it wasn’t in the Unilocal database yet, and I thought I’d be helpful to people.

My wife and stayed here for a weekend a few weeks ago. The price was about $ 90 per night and we were happy with the room. The hotel was quiet and everything worked as it should. The placed looked super clean and the breakfast was surprisingly good(make your waffles– Yum). Would not hesitate to stay here again.

To sum it all up in 5 words: not worth $ 135, but nice. It’s Denton, I get it. No luxury chains or 5 stars here. Just basic set ups for parents visiting their kiddos in school or family coming in for graduations. Or in my case, alums coming in for UNT Homecoming. The front desk clerk was super nice and took care of the basics with ease. I even witnessed her being badgered by a woman in front of me(«Why do you need my credit card? Why do you have to pre-authorize it? Why is that charge showing up on my card when I haven’t checked out?» Umm, lady, have you ever STAYED in a hotel before?) and she remained calm and didn’t get pissy back at her. The room felt a little, umm, worn. Maybe I’m just spoiled, but it just didn’t do it for me. It was huge and had lots of space but I feel like they could have knocked down the price a tad bit for what I was getting. The hotel felt very«chain» and which it should, but I still like when I stay places and they make each hotel a little unique. This one was a cardboard cut-out. They offer free breakfast, but I didn’t take advantage of it. If I ever need to stay in Denton again, I’ll probably look at the Comfort Suites but it definitely won’t be my first pick.
