Kind of rude barmaid when we walked in looking for a karaōke bar. Said we had to order to stay but then said it was a members only bar. Is there a zero star rating?

I’ll bite the bullet and be the first to review this crazy little bar. First, a few caveats. I have only been to Crossroads for karaōke on Saturday night, and we only ever go after we’ve either 1) exhausted any other options or 2) feel like getting RIDICULOUS. Because that is the epitome of Crossroads: ridiculousness. It’s a mix of good ol’ Southern boys, crazy lesbians(of which I am usually a part of), and college kids from TWU. A bottle of beer is nice and frosty(usually), the shots are in plastic cups, and the whiskey is warm. They do run out of things, like mixers for shots and certain beers, and my tab is always stupid high but GOODGODIT’S SOMUCHFUN. The bartender(Lindsay?) is a cute little nugget who remembers who you are and what you had and knows exactly what order everyone came up to the bar in. It’s a tiny bar, but still. Richard pulls off some amazing karaōke, and has a huge variety of songs. Country songs are the most popular, of course. This really should be like a 3.5 star review(I’ve had a few issues with creepy drunk dudes, the hot whiskey, and the parking situation) but Crossroads is a weird little place that you should visit at least twice. It keeps pulling me back in, for whatever reason.
