This was my first time here. I got a green tea smoothie with tap. Delicious! He made it less sweet for me like I asked. I will be back!

Great service and decent food. Their bubble tea cannot be compared to the ones in socal but still worth checking!

Really nice place. They have great tea. Don’t forget to add tapioca to your drinks. Love to come back

The atmosphere and décor inside are very nice. Quiet, dim lighting, and pretty peaceful. The drinks are good, but nothing overly amazing; they’re a little pricy and it usually takes a little bit for them to be made. However, they do usually only have one person working there, so it’s understandable. Overall, it’s an enjoyable place to get a boba/bubble/jelly tea or coffee, and they have Beth Marie’s ice cream there, which is a plus!

Another one of my favorite places to visit when I was in Denton… bear in mind it was only this or Naranja Café during my time. On my latest visit to Denton, I decided to come back to Kaleo to try it again. I really like the ambiance of the café and the girl at the counter was very friendly. She was able to make different combinations for us that weren’t on the menu after we had requested for it. I like the taro/chocolate combination. This place may be hard to find since it’s not off the main road and people driving around most probably won’t spot it. But if you’re ever craving some bubble tea in the Denton area, this is the place to go.

So what toy would expect from a typical Bubble Tea joint. $ 5+ smoothies with tapioca made in a smoothie machine with ice, syrup, and powder. I recommend the Avocado smoothie because it is 1 of 2 drinks they have that include any fresh ingredients. A lot of ice cream, candy bar smoothies. Meh. Not really the stuff I’m into, but it may work for you. Never know till you check this place out.

Love this new addiction… Bubble tea! I am from TN so I never heard of this until moving to TX. I work in the plaza and decided to try it after hearing good reports from my Co worker ;) sooooo glad I tried them I have a new found addiction to the strawberry and banana smoothie with the passion fruit or strawberry popping bubbles!!! Amazingly refreshing especially in this TXHEAT!!!

Twas told right away that no hot drink could be served due to a machine malfunction; asked what the most popular drink was and was told it was Taro. Ordered a thai milk tea with pearls, and a passion fruit tea(which was more like a smoothie than tea) with passion fruit popping boba. Waited awhile for the two drinks(one friendly girl was taking all the orders and making them). Thai milk tea was like a 1⁄3 star drink; it was water with a splash of milk tea flavor topped off with old, soggy pearls with the texture of goo; I threw it away without drinking. The passion fruit smoothie was okay and it stayed cold a long time. Small venue, chill vibe complete with a few board games to play; medium noise level. They also serve dessert concoctions made with local ice-cream. If I ever returned, I’d stick to the smoothie drinks sans the popping boba/pearls/pudding/any adds. Final verdict… venture in with low expectations.

This place is amazing! I love Boba tea and the dude at the counter answered all of our questions. Another plus I went with my two younger brothers and the place was very family friendly. Try the coconut shake it’s awesome.

I’ve been here once and it was a nice experience. They had card games, chess, etc out for us to play and the guy taking/making our drinks was really nice. I come from a place where boba and milk teas are very big. Denton doesn’t have many Asian places like this so I decided to try it. It was decent. It wasn’t anything spectacular but I may just give it another shot. My boyfriends taro milk tea was very thick when thick isn’t what were used to. I had the oreos cookies and cream boba which was very chocolately, but that’s probably how it should be. I just hoped that it’d be a bit more vanilla than chocolate

Was discriminated against in a bubble tea shop. This really happened. I’m saddened to even leave such a poor review at this business, since I really do like their tea and speedy wifi. The associate named«Yin» or «Yen» was not only rude, but exemplified poor customer service by arguing with me after I requested minuscule amounts of boba and she gave me much more than so. Even after being calm and patient with her, it took an arm and a leg to get her to make me another boba tea with little amounts of boba in it. Me and my party literally watched her put way more boba than I asked for in the first cup. Furthermore, a lady returned her boba, shortly after my request was ignored the first time, and got another free one with no hassle at all by Yin; simply because she didn’t like it. Best to you yin, but I will not use your services again.

Not impressed. Was very excited to try it. Espresso machine broken. The drinks were just ok. We tried the pomegranate and strawberry banana smoothie. The room was very warm and had loud acoustics. There were no napkins out. When we asked for napkins we got a paper towel off the roll behind the counter.

I give 3 stars because my friend who knows EVERYTHING about Boba tea was with me. I had never had it before and the girl behind the counter just seemed afraid of us. I had to talk to my friend to know what I wanted to get because when I would ask a question to the girl behind the counter she didn’t seem to know anything about the flavors or pairings. The tea is good and definitely a unique experience. However, if I had come in here alone I would have just walked out. There was no way I would have bought a beverage from someone who doesn’t know anything about their own products or able to give me a recommendation. So before you go, either know everything about it already or read up. Because they sure can’t tell you anything about it.

Their expresso machine has been broken and unable to make any hot beverages, or regular coffee. For it being a coffee place you might want to keep your coffee maker/expresso machine running. The very nice guy at the counter said he had a very limited amount of regular coffee, but it’s solely for the blended drinks. So, I ask… can I pay for a blended drink and just get regular coffee? Nope, I had to have a blended drink. After driving 4hrs and hitting traffic to get to my destination, I needed the caffeine so I bought a blended caramel macchiato :( As I rather do local businesses rather than a Starbucks, from now on, I’m just going to drive a block away to Starbucks and get my hot coffee. Definitely not coming here again and will let my fellow colleguea a aware! Note: there were only two other ppl having ice cream. Seams they might get away from being a coffee shop and going into an ice cream place haha

I’m still looking around Denton but so far this is the only place I’ve found near the Triangle Mall area that serves bubble tea. I’ve only tried their milk tea and it’s really good. After the first time I came I always get the milk tea since it’s in my top 5 favorite milk teas but hopefully eventually I’ll try something else on the menu. They are located next to Buffalo Wild Wings and J sushi. Service is great, the baristas are always really helpful and glad to serve you. They have a full ice cream bar as well as a full drink menu with a «mountain icy» which I suspect is shaved ice. Free wifi, password is at the cash register and they have a electronic punch card service. You give them your email and name and they give you a card! Love this place and will definitely come back :)

Ok. Here’s the sitch. I’m from California where Asian boba shops are everywhere. I was craving boba so I came here. Definitely not the typical Asian boba place. I knew that going in so I wasn’t going to compare. I order a drink and I saw it was basically syrup and pre-brewed tea. I’m used to the fresh stuff so that was a no go. I paid $ 9 for two drinks! The taste were both sub par. No offense but would not recommend based on my taste.

If I were ever to be addicted to a substance it would be Thai bubble tea. Other than stoping by a Thai restaurant, Kaleo seems to be the only other option for bubble tea in Denton that I have found. I happened to be risking life and limb on the loop during Saturday shopping hours and took a break with the kiddo to get a tasty beverage. She got a mango smoothie with boba and I obviously got a thai tea with boba. $ 3.99 for the medium size is definitely a fair price and the quality of both drinks was very good. I was impressed by the number of drink options and add-ons they had and look forward to trying others out in the future. The young woman operating the counter was very nice and friendly served up our drinks quickly. I décor, which I failed to take a pic of, was weird but not in a bad way. They had some modern café furniture at the front of the shop but traditional Italian patio furniture towards the back with wall paneling that reflecting both styles. On the nort wall of the café is a grid of black and white photos of unnameable people who give the impression of being celebrities but maybe only in Russia. It’s also dark in there which doesn’t bother me at all, but the place is really long so the farther back you go, the darker it gets. Probably a choice wifi gaming spot for moody quasi-goth animé kids. I can’t give it more than three stars yet simply because I spent a sum total of 5 minutes in there. Also, the parking SUCKS. If you live around here you already know that Loop 288 is a place of doom and no one likes having to drive over there and deal with the labyrinthine parking lots and horrible intersections. Finding a place to park was an ordeal and eventually I had to park my tiny car in between two gigantic trucks which made backing out as difficult were I blind.

Definitely my favorite bubble tea place in Denton! The staff is always super nice and since I come in often, the girl who works at night remembers my usual order. The atmosphere is fantastic — and since the place has free WiFi it’s probably fantastic for studying as well. I always get the taro milk over ice with boba — and I’m very picky about my taro flavor! But Kaleo does it right. If bubble tea isn’t your thing, they also serve regular tea, coffee, and ice cream. The only downside to this place is they are a little pricey compared to most — some drinks can run up to close to $ 6 a pop. I’d come here much more often if it wasn’t so expensive, but the drinks and service are fantastic. Great little place!

Quick and friendly service. Very tasty bubble tea though the menu layout was a tiny bit confusing for me. Pricey but worth it for the quick service and pleasant atmosphere.
