I already love this place because of the atmosphere, the staff, the drink selection, the music, the tacos and then they play a whole set of The Carpenters over the speakers on request. I love you Harvest House

This place is so Denton and very awesome. Many beers to choose from, house made juices(and ice cubes from the same juice!), kombucha on tap, and coffee. They also make specialty drinks on some occasions. It’s nice to be able to go somewhere to drink with friends, even if you aren’t in the mood for alcohol. Beautiful décor inside and out. Indoor seating, and a huge outdoor seating with tables and chairs, picnic tables, couches. Great place to bring your dogs and sit outside for a drink. They have a taco truck outside that has amazing sweet potato quinoa tacos. I was very impressed! Large stage outside for music, pool tables, cornhole game, everything you could want in a hang out place. I enjoy coming to Karma Yoga here and grabbing something refreshing afterwards. Very friendly staff too. No complaints!

My favorite stop in Denton. Beer list is always top notch, bottle list is great, several non alcoholic drinks, family friendly before 8pm, darts, pool, bocce ball, foolsball, wifi, byof, and best of all LIVE Music. Ian has done an incredible job with the sound and lighting up there. The acts they they draw that have no cover or just $ 2 is crazy because you would normally pay $ 10 – 25 anywhere else. And the staff, well they are just as cool as the place. Good Vibes all around!

Great vibe, great location, and awesome indoor/outdoor setup. But they’re really bad at handling big crowds, and understaffed behind the bar when things get busy. I won’t stop coming back, but probably will look to other neighborhood places that can handle crowds better on the weekends.

I went here recently and saw an awesome live show, and we LOVED the place. I had a blast, the drinks were great, not dirt cheap like some bars in Denton, but definitely not Dallas-type expensive. Completely worth it. I loved it and will definitely go back!

Loved the outdoors area, but loved the beer selection and service even more! Bartender filled up a sampler of a rare keg as soon as he saw my friend(a regular) walk in — because he knew exactly what he liked. You can’t buy that kind of service!

This is one of the most beautiful bars around. The live music is great and the patio is incredible. The taco for truck is great and they have a fantastic drink selection. The only downside is that the bar is usually well understaffed. Even on busy night like for the 35 Denton music festival. They only had 4 people behind the bar and it took well over 15 minutes to get a round of drinks and they were not even all the way full. I would highly recommend coming here, but if it’s moderately busy, be prepared to wait some time for a drink.

Ok, this place makes me miss Denton like crazy!!! Where was this über cool place when I was in college here??? I’m embarrassed to admit where we had to hang out… Seriously, this place is incredible. Located on the lot next to Weldon’s…which I think used to be an empty lot, it looks like a beacon for fun times. The whole area around Hickory Street has been transformed over recent years and is a Mecca for where all the cool people go for food, drinks and music. Harvest House has the best outside seating. They have fire pits with comfy seating that invite you to sit a bit and stay. They have a covered pavilion that’s heated in the winter. I’m always freezing(by product of living in the desert for years) and I was as toasty as could be! I was told the live music will start back up in about a month. I can only imagine sitting back there seeing the lights of the Square, enjoying a unique beverage and listening to some Denton grooves. They have a full bar, awesome, creative twists on cocktails and a great local beer selection. They also have a coffee bar with fresh juices. No need to drive all the way to Dallas anymore my friends, this place is legit! Can’t wait to come back!

Good coffee, kombucha on tap, fresh juices, amazing courtyard/patio, very nice inside, free yoga on wed mornings. They dont make any espresso coffee drinks, but they have the best regular coffee in denton. Love this place.

Super great curated tap wall, great whiskey & bourbons. Open spaces, beer garden & live music. Never had a cocktail so can’t review. NITRO coffee!!! Some good teas & juices. Chill vibe during the day. I like the water tap at the end of the bar. «Food truck» in the garden, limited hours but there’s food down the street. I like it here.

Another great place in Denton. They have a huge patio with live music. The have a ton of beer choices(possibly too many choices) and the staff knows a lot about each selection. The staff is great and always ready to make a recommendation. One of the few places to get kombucha on tap. Love kombucha. They also have fresh juices. This is great because can stop by if feeling healthy and want something to make me feel good or wanting some great beer. They have a food truck that makes delicious tacos. Can even make us vegan & vegetarians some great food. This is a fun place to go and have a drink with friends.

I’ll start with the good: Harvest House has a great patio space for outside drinking. There’s lots of tables and an outdoor bar as well. The fireplaces are a nice touch for late fall/early spring as well. Their beer selection is wonderful as well, and they usually have some of the more rare stuff East Side and OSDH don’t have, like the Firestone Walker anniversary beers. They also have Cuvee on tap, kombucha, and their well whiskey is Jameson. The bad: It doesn’t matter how many beers you have on tap, or how awesome your patio is if your service is bad. It takes way too long to get a drink here, and I don’t mean only during busy hours. I’ve waiting in a line with no one else in it for over 5 minutes because the bartenders were too busy talking with each other to actually provide service. Not only that, but during busy hours, people get skipped over all the time. I literally watched a bartender choose to serve a group of ladies who just walked up rather than serve 2 – 3 guys that had been waiting for about 10 minutes. They are also not very knowledgeable about cocktails, which is fine, as I don’t expect every bartender to know every recipe. However, they just try to wing it, which results in a terrible cocktail. If you don’t know how to make it, just say that you don’t know! I don’t want to pay for a crappy drink. Honestly this place has a lot of potential to be great. It looks cool, has a good location, good clientele, and a great selection. The only thing that sucks is the bar staff, which is really disappointing.

I enjoyed my handcrafted cocktails from Harvest House. One drink stands out – The Old Fashionable – it was perfectly balanced between bitter and sweet and bourbon. I also really liked the entire location with its shaded, expansive patio and open-air concept of the bar. The crowd consisted of older adults which is rare for a college town. I think it’s because the prices are higher, and the place is too bourgeois for the undergrad crowds.((thankfully))

I really like the atmosphere here at Harvest House. The staff is friendly and so are the patrons. They have 54 taps so you have decisions to make. Not all of them are alcoholic. They also have wines, full bar style drinks. And again, they have non alcoholic choices. They have a large selection of teas. Loose leaf so they can mix to make what you are craving. They have Coffee choices with house made syrups for you who crave sweet. And four different Juice options. Yummy! They have inside and outside seating. They have fans and misters for those extra hot North Texas days. A full stage for live entertainment. There is a food truck onsite so if you get the munchies. I have came here when they were slow and also on a Friday when there was standing room only. I have never been uncomfortable coming alone. Free WiFi, tables to do some work, couches not to. The bar has stools to get up close to the source and hangers for your handbag or backpack. They even have outlets at the bar, so you can stay plugged in if you are hooked to your electronics. Everyone has a learning curve, and even though they have coffee, ordering it at night is limited on quality. I wanted black coffee, and unless you pay more to get fresh poured, the roasted in the thermos is not fresh, but they sell it to you anyway — blah! lesson learned. Great place!!! but do not come, I want to keep this treasure for myself.

Fun venue to watch a show our just chill out on a weeknight. They aren’t too terribly busy on weeknights so you might be able to have a conversation and enjoy the weird blue fire pits. If there is a show though be warned you will not be able to hear the person next to you even in the building. The drink selection is broad but the prices are higher than at most other places. Really nice restrooms and a nice variety of seating options, very nice aesthetics.

This a house i want to move into! Craft drafts from all over and ever changing options along with knowledgable beer tenders are enough to keep me happy anytime. Add in the humongous patio with fire pits, bandstand, pool tables and dartboards and there you have it, Harvest House! They serve more than the wode selection of beers and the crowd is everyone from UNT students to the more mature(at least in age) crowd. You dont need your tractor or plow to harvest at this house so come one and come all and enjoy this wonderful place.

First of all, Dan’s SIlverleaf is one of the pillars of Denton music and the spirit of this city overall, so when I saw Harvest House on their first night, the day before the 35Denton music fest opened, I was afraid for our town’s musical flagship. Harvest House is gorgeous, fun, and versatile: both outdoor beer garden and modern indoor pub, with a huge stage outside, plenty of seats, and a big dose of Austin chic. My second thought was that Harvest House was inevitable. A place like this was always going to happen here, and they did it well. Turns out, Denton is big enough for both. Dan’s has remodeled his interior a little, created more space inside, a very cool patio out back, and most importantly preserved the warm, whisky sound that makes Silverleaf essential. Harvest is a great place for music, too, but also to hang out and drink from their endless beer list(including a handful of stouts, even in summer!), or drink coffee, fresh juices, or chow on «farm to truck cuisine» by Coup d’ eTaco — a taco truck native to the outdoor bar. I see people in there early in the day, working at tables by the window coffee shop style. There’s plenty of reasons to go. Harvest is the anchor for Denton’s new Hickory Street corridor and a genuine destination for out-of-town visitors. A friend came in yesterday and we hit Shift, Harvest, and Guanajuato, a pretty great combination for a small town. So, welcome, Harvest. There’s always somebody there you know, a cool band you haven’t heard, or a beer you haven’t tried. We’re lucky to have it.

Harvest House instantly became a Denton classic the moment it opened(well before it opened really!). It’s one of the most unique bars/venues/juice bars/coffeeshops/etc. I’ve been to, not only in Denton, but everywhere. You can tell that a lot of thought went into every little detail: the atmosphere, the drink selection, the music, the employees, and more. They are always rotating the beer selection making it a great place to try something new. I have yet to get a terrible drink here. Another cool thing about Harvest House is that it’s a great place to come study or do work during the day. I’m glad it’s finally open and I think it epitomizes what Denton is all about in many ways.
