My measuring stick for all gas stations is QuikTrip, which being another option in the area, is a fair one, I think. Based on that, this place doesn’t quite measure up. It’s a pretty decent gas station, certainly in no ways sketchy or gross or any of the bad things that might come to mind when you think of a gas station. It was clean, well lit, pleasant enough to look at, employees seemed nice and friendly… All good things. They also had a pretty extensive selection of snacks, drinks, that kind of thing… venturing into more options like various roller foods, etc. But it was 75% the level of a QT. Not quite as much stuff, not quite as nice facilities, that sort of thing. They appear to be building a new one directly next door and that one, I assume, will be trying to be closer to a QT rival. So maybe in time it will get there. For now, QT is just up the street. Side note, main reason I stopped was a need to pee and I didn’t get to cause it was obviously a single holer of a bathroom and someone was hogging it. another knock against it in comparison to a QT. Phase 3s(and 2s?) have big bathrooms with plenty of stalls…

The floor plan was terrible… it’s like one rectangular store… it was just awkward. The pumps were slammed just because the gas is like 2 cents cheaper then the ones up the street. The people were sort of nice but it was like a 2 second transaction to get me out of the store for the next customer so I guess it was alright. I prefer the chevron up the street with the subway in it

Do not go here if you run out of gas and need help. I asked one guy if he can help me and he goes inside and complains. Melinda. she came out and huffef and puffed at me, threatened to call the cops, Told me I was soliciting, and demanded that I leave and that I was doing a illegal activity called panhandling. Ha And then she stood there with her arms crossed looking like a hero when i sadly drove off. God bless the guy at chevron who saved my ass from Melinda’s compassionate heart. I hope I get that job tomorrow. So all females who are traveling alone and looking for work, and struggling, stay out a here so you won’t lose your dignity and wind up in jail.

Usually, a convenience store is something we all don’t think heavily on, but this particular RaceTrac is my favorite. The store is kept clean continuously; Whether I’m getting gas in the morning, or I get off of work late one night, and I need to grab a tall Angry Orchard, grapes and cheese. This RaceTrac is dependable, and never lets me down.

This is always a busy location, but I really like the fact that they have diesel at EVERY pump. You never have to wait for long for gas. They always keep their drinks and snacks in stock and the cashiers are very fast. There’s always a line, but it always moves quickly. The restrooms are always clean and are very spacious. The mens room and ladies rooms are one-seaters — so you might have someone knock on the door when you’re in there — but the lock is secure. Huge baby-changing station in the bathrooms, easy to use sinks, soap and towel dispensers. At the pumps, they always have the window washing fluid FULL and the squeegies are always in working order. So many stations have them in disrepair… but not so here. They also always have towels in the towel dispenser by the pumps… very necessary if you pump diesel.

My father was in the hospital with his 3rd stroke(2nd in a week). I stopped at this RaceTrac for drinks for my kids and I on our way back from Oklahoma. While I was waiting for my son to come out with the drinks a man told me I had a flat. I tried to call my husband with no luck. «Oh great!» My son came out and he and the man next to him tell me that my tire is flat. Just then my husband calls and says he had a flat and for me to buy Fix-A-Flat. I go in to buy the Fix-A-Flat, beef jerky, and Dr. Pepper,(since the store employees had already let my son refill the Free-fill cup a half dozen times while waiting on my husband to call-why push my luck-right???). I go to pay and cannot find my credit card. The cashier was so nice and so sincere. He told me I had been through enough; just take it all, get my tire fixed and go see my dad. Just as he said that, I found my card and paid. I will never forget how nice and sincere everyone of the employees there were. They were all so kind and willing to help.
