Chips were crispy and warm but tasted stale. Ordered brisket tacos… Ordered brisket tacos. Meat had a peculiar taste. Tried to finish thinking I would adjust but could not. Took almost all home to give to the dog. Will not go here again.

Little hidden place looks like not much traffic, maybe this is why they do not put much effort into food. Ordered the tacos, They came in a single tortilla. They should heat up the tortilla more or double up my tacos fell apart when i tried folding them.

I’ve heard about this place from several people — yet nobody has reviewed it on here yet. Anyway, dropped by today and had the taco plate — 3 beef tacos with cilantro and onion on corn tortillas, with beans and rice on the side. The only suggestion I would have for them is to maybe double up the tortillas or maybe toss the tortillas on the griddle for a bit. But that said, great flavor, the beans and rice were great as well. The sauces could use a bit more heat, but they have good flavor. This is a tiny place — half a dozen tables at most, next to a bike shop. There’s only about a half dozen parking spots for both the taqueria and bike shop combined. The food is cheap — for the taco plate(with beans and rice) and a genuine Coca Cola in a glass bottle, and tax, I spent about $ 8. Since moving to Denton I’ve been trying to find a taqueria that’s actually open for more than a few hours a day. This place still closes pretty early, though on Saturdays they’re open until 5. Seems to be the owner working the front and one person in the kitchen(husband maybe?), so if anybody else is in there, expect it to take a little while — I think I waited about 10 minutes for my food. Worth the wait. Order at the counter then have a seat, they’ll bring it to you.
