Day 1 of The Pregnant Work-From-Home Mother Coffee Tour: I’ve been to Aviano before, but it was long before I was preggers and had some specific seating needs. I remember having problems with the wifi before, but I remember the coffee being delicious(on the gourmet level), and the boys working here are the kind I would have been seriously crushing on if I were 5 – 10 years younger. I really want to love the vibe here, but it’s a bit sparse and the seating is just not conducive to a lengthy sit-down work session. The tables with chairs are industrial-style brushed metal but have a very bizarre slope backwards that makes it impossible to really sit back against it comfortably. The bench seating is creative and cool, but the gap between the table + the backboard is miles. My back already hurts and it took me a half-hour to connect to the internet after having to ask them to reset it. Resolution: Get a mobile wifi connection and a back cushion … which I’m not going to do. I’ll be back when I’m less preggers and care a bit less about my comfort, Aviano. Or maybe in the summer when outdoor seating is an option(and a bit more comfortable, too).

I love this little coffee place located in the Cherry Creek shopping area. Great vibe and energy within this coffee shop. From coffee to lattes they have a variety of drinks. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Great place to stop in and do some work. They don’t offer any gluten free pastries, but the drinks are phenomenal. It can get a little crowded which makes the seating challenging sometimes.

I was super impressed. Not only was the look of the place beautiful but the quality of my coffee. I ordered a Black Cat Latte and a cappuccino. Both were amazing. My pastry was great as well. I loved this space, I would give this café 5 stars but during my three hour session, I couldn’t get the wifi to work. If I return and I can connect I’ll bump it up!

A+ all the way. I went there basically just to avoid starbucks, and was pleased to find outstanding service and coffee. The ambiance was also excellent, and I’ve already been back twice. Keep it up guys!

I saw this coffee shop in an issue of 5280 and I can see why. The space is gorgeous-I love the wall of distressed barn wood. I got a chai latte since I’m more of a tea person but I was a little disappointed there wasn’t any earl grey tea. This is a great spot to catch up with someone and also a good spot to get some work done.

Pretty disappointing for all the good things I’ve heard. It’s really just too complicated for a coffee house. 4pm and they’ve run out of all food. No specialty lattes. Why didn’t I just go to Starbucks? The kicker… they can’t do a single espresso cap. What?! His solution: a decaf double espresso cap. Ok, I guess. $ 4. Pretty steep. Oh, and what’s up with the incredibly uncomfortable furniture? Don’t worry, I won’t stay long, I’m leaving. Won’t be back…

This was a nice little find to relax and enjoy a nice hot beverage, while exploring denver for the day we decided to stop in, I tried the Cortado and really enjoyed it. The style of the coffeeshop is very unique and a nice place to study or have conversation. Come check it out

Yuppy coffee spot with cool brick walls and a lofty open feeling. Hipster male baristas with vests and beards. They willingly explained about the coffee and didn’t seem snobbish, contrary to some other reviewers. My Americano was great, not too strong, bitter or acidic. I did go with the larger size, which means more hot water is added, so if you like your coffee very strong, don’t do that. Espresso macchiato was very strong, with the perfect dot of frothed milk. Two things worth mentioning: 1) They had only a single apple turnover left in the early afternoon. Good to know that they must get their baked goods fresh every day, but they shouldn’t run out that early in the day. 2) I saw a barista blow on a cup of espresso to make a design with the milk. Yes, he put his mouth right over the cup and blew on it. A little strange and perhaps not that sanitary.

I came into the coffee shop in a good mood and left in a poor mood and feeling disrespected. I accidentally parked in employee parking, and upon being notified of this I proceeded to move my car. The owners/managers were apparently so offended by my mistake that they asked me to leave. I found this unjust, but calmly abided to their request and left the coffee shop. Outside I was conftonted by two employees. I told them that I will not be giving establishment a good review because I felt publicly humiliated and treated unfairly. The women told me, «bring it b$#@,» and both individuals stood in front of my vehicle to block me from driving away. At this point I felt that my safety was in danger, but I luckily manged to drive away without being harmed. If you are looking for a coffee shop that cares about providing it’s patrons with a positive experience, avoid Aviano like the plague.

You know, window shopping is tiring and the girlfriend loves coffee especially around mid afternoon when she really needs a jumper. This café has great Unilocal reviews so we made a B-line for it. I immediately liked it. The open air look, the sleek design, the patio all reminded me of this café I went to in San Francisco that was converted from an auto repair shop. I had the Classic macchiato — strong as heck and she had the Soy latte. Both were good drinks.

Not too hipster to leave a tip sir! This coffee shop is definitely«cherry creek». I have been into the shop a few times, and I don’t find the staff very warm or welcoming. In fact there always seems to be a slight air of contempt & superiority. For instance, one time I went in and wanted to make my own drink, and there was a special type of milk offered in one of their drinks. I was told that the milk was too special to put in another drink and they only used it in that particular recipe. Being a barista for three years, this made no sense to me. I also love that the staff constantly sighs and rolls their eyes when you go to the wrong side of the counter intuitive set up of a bar. The prices are also fairly steep, but that is to be expected anywhere Cherry Creek North, assuming I can guess what they pay for their leases. After the legendary Peaberry Coffee closed, I was hoping to find another daily spot in Cherry Creek to call home, unfortunately this is not it. Too many hipsters who probably like to smell their own farts and have all become the conformists they were originally trying to avoid by being all ‘counterculture’ together. Meh. Go here if you want to give them your money just to have them make you feel like garbage! Should be ‘Aviano’s Last Resort’.

Fantastic spot! Def has a modern and a bit of hipster vibe(mainly from the people working there especially the guy with the perfect french mustache) Coffee was fresh and delicious! They also have free wifi connection and are open later than other coffee shops I’ve been to. I would recommend going here

After reading my review, Doug from Aviano explained to me in detail how they brew their coffee and specifically their cold brew that I found too expensive. Coffee at Aviano is definitively good, as I had mentioned in my previous review, and while I still think $ 5.00 is still too much for a cold iced coffee(even considering the long brewing process and the fact that prices were higher during the Cherry Creek Art Festival), it is also true that I may have a more positive experience if I visited the place when there is not a special event happening in the area. After exchanging a few emails with Doug I feel it’s fair to give them an extra star(from 3 stars in my previous review) for the quality and good taste of their coffee. This does not change the fact that the overall vibe of the place feels still a little too hip and pretentious to me. But that’s my personal taste.

This is perhaps the best coffee shop in Denver. With roots in Intelligentsia Coffee but without the corporate coffee feel, Aviano makes truly great coffee. The whole front opens up so has a wonderful open feel and the patio is just an extension of the interior.

Coffee to delight and maybe a bite. Intelligentsia. so good, in the swanky hood. Sit for a while with the people of style. Fancy a croissant? It’s here if you want.

I stopped in here before meeting up my cousin. We were visiting Denver for the first time. This place has lots of seating for small groups and a large table in the back. There were also some people studying or doing work on the side tables, but I think it’d be hard to concentrate since the store is essentially one square room with no partitions to block off noise. I thought it was a nice place to chat — probably not so good to study. Boyfriend got a coffee and I had an iced plum tea. We’re from Houston, so I thought this was very comparable to other coffee shops in the Montrose area but it was more pricey than I thought. We sat by the window and enjoyed our drinks and a small pastry. It’s an A-OK place :)

Beautiful venue with a huge open layout. Love the furniture, décor and the Edison light bulbs. Great attention to detail. Coffee served in a mug but would have appreciated some brand identity on them. Delicious. Note: Cant find a visible power outlet but love all the varieties of seating available. Wifi password is blueberry59.
