I’ve always heard that a wedding day can’t be perfect; the band plays the wrong music, a guest drinks too much, the toasts take too long, etc. Well, I can honestly say that my wedding day was perfect, and that everything went off without a hitch thanks to Lilli’s help.
I first found Lilli during my search for a florist. Her flowers were beautiful – her artistry superb – but it was her work ethic that was most impressive. I hired her on-​the-​spot as both my florist and day-​of-​coordinator, and I can say with conviction that it was the best decision that I made for the wedding.
Lilli began her coordination services a month before the wedding, organizing a timeline for our ceremony/​reception, as well as a master list of all of our vendors. She also worked out all vendor related kinks, and ensured that all vendors were on the same page. In short, Lilli made the month before the wedding a breeze, saving me – a Grad student going through finals – so much headache.
Now during the wedding Lilli (and her assistant florist) really shined. Throughout the night Lilli was the liaison between myself and the other vendors, ensuring that no one bothered me or the wedding party with last minute questions or concerns. Her assistant was also kind enough to run to a grocery store during the reception to buy me something to settle my stomach. The flowers were impeccable: they were fresh, fragrant, and incredibly lustrous. The floral arrangements (which Lilli had sketched out for me) were more beautiful than I could have imagined.
In all, Lilli and her assistant ran the show discreetly and seamlessly, helping my wedding be the perfect day I had not thought possible!
If you are in the market for both a florist and a planner, I urge you to sit down with Lilli. Her work ethic and beautiful flowers certainly sell themselves, but I would like this review to serve as a personal endorsement from a very happy bride. Thanks for everything Lilli!

I want to say THANK YOU to Bella Calla AND recommend them. I found them on a LGBT-​friendly website and they SO EXCEEDED all expectations. I spoke to a young lady on the phone and described what I would like for my VERY small, personal wedding ceremony. Not only did they make an arrangement that represented us– but they did so with exceptional design AND the best price I could possibly ask for. They delivered to The Brown Palace– on a SUNDAY for a price no one else probably would have. THANK YOU, Bella Calla. I should have made this review one month ago– it has been on my mind ever since. I think they changed owners … the lady that helped me was not nice and she acted like she was doing me a favor. I got flowers there before and they will give me a normal amount with at least some greens (I understand is a small shop so I am not expecting to get a lot of flowers like you can get at the grocery store) and once they even helped me to put my terrarium together, they been always very nice. Today I spend 10 dollars for 4 flowers no greens. The lady looked at me like I was crazy when I asked if they change the way they sell the flowers. She said this is actually 12 dollars (making it sound like she is nice and she was only charging me 10) and I said it’s fine charged me whatever it is but she only charged me 10… Too bad I really like the shop. What really bothered me was the way she treat me. I am all about supporting local business and small shops, but rude employees can hurt business. I will try another time and maybe I will have better luck.

I use Lilli and her team for all of my floral needs. Whether an arrangement for a small event, or a thank you gift for a friend or client, her work challenges the conventions of floral design. By adding dimension and texture, her pieces are always a true work of art. Her flowers are seasonal and last longer than any store-​bought option. While I always try to provide her with ample notice, she is always able to accommodate a last minute request. I was desperate for someone who could create a natural looking chuppa for me since my florist had never done it before. I saw a photo on the website and knew that this was what I was looking for with some minor tweaks. Lilli and I spoke on the phone and she created exactly what I was looking for. She was easy to work with and achieved my vision for my daughter.

I was so happy to see a beautiful little flower shop open up in the neighborhood that I’ve lived in for three years and I would love to sort support this business to make sure that it succeeds but the last two times I’ve tried to go buy flowers on my way to work the store has been closed! This store should honestly consider extending their morning hours to allow for more business. I would buy from them if I could ever get in!

The arrangement that I received yesterday from Bella Calla is absolutely perfect!!!
It is unique and bright and uplifting and did I say UNIQUE. Like nothing I’ve ever seen. I was prepared to research every single flower to learn the name and my daughter (who generously ordered for me) wrote to Bella Calla and they emailed a list of

I contacted Bella Calla with an inquiry to do my bridal and bridesmaid bouquets. I didn’t have a need for centerpieces, etc. Her response was unprofessional and she seemed unwilling to work with me. I was hoping to support a local business because I live around the corner from her shop and my fiancé has ordered flowers multiple times. Overall disappointed with the professionalism.

Definitely go here! I used Lilli and the crew at Bella Calla for my wedding. They did a phenomenal job! They pride themselves in being a «full service concierge» — meaning they deliver the flowers, set up everything, STAY there with extra supplies in case something falls apart or gets stepped on, etc., and they break down and carry off the arrangements. All I had to do was show up! It was mindless. Just what you want on your wedding day.
From the first time I met with Lilli, I knew she was the best fit. We met in person to go over my vision for the wedding; flowers I like or don’t like; etc. She drew up sketches of what she was thinking and it was perfect. She’s so much fun to meet with and work with; we were laughing and carrying on like old friends.
Prices: very reasonable and competitive. I did some shopping around for price comparisons and feel confident that Bella Calla’s prices are reasonable and in line with other shops. I didn’t get a full, detailed quote from the other flower shops, but even if Bella Calla would have been $ 400 or so extra, I would still use them! Great service!
I’m telling you — you should use Bella Calla for your wedding — or any other floral need. You will not be disappointed. I have no regrets!

We hired Lilli and team for our wedding as florists and day of coordinator. I can’t tell you how stressed I was during the middle of wedding planning. When the other half and I met with Lilli as initial consultation, I immediately felt so comfortable with her and she was able to assure/​calm me down. We hired her the next day and it was one of the best decisions ever!
The flowers and decorations we got were exactly what I was looking for. She also kept me calm throughout the day and I don’t even know if we had any issues during our wedding (it went that perfectly I think!)
She was very flexible with our ever changing minds and totally supported all our wants (while also being rational about certain ideas).
I would so recommend Bella calla and Lilli to anyone planning their own weddings. She really was amazing to have as part of our day!

I have taken their Terrarium Class and I had a WONDERFUL time. Actually, I have taken the class two times and I play to take another class this Saturday, 9 MAY 2015. WOW! The instructors are real and make the art of making a terrarium simple and easy to understand. They have helped me go from a RED thumb (killing all plant life) to a YELLOW thumb (not killing all plant life but not yet a GREEN thumb). My last creation was in a large terrarium made in a glass bulb with large and small holes. I chose leafy deciduous plants and what a lovely terrarium I created. Each class I grow bolder in my plant choices. I am having fun. The group is different each time and are always creative and passionate about art and the plants. I WANT MORE. Cheers!

Lilly was so great to work with!!! I am a event planner in Portland, OR and I have a client in Colorado. I wanted to send her flowers and I wanted them to be perfect. I am so glad that I found Belle Calla because the whole process was great. Lilly went out of her way to make sure the custom bouquet was exactly what I wanted. The client was happy and so was I. I had a blast coming here with friends and making terrariums. We bought a Groupon for lessons and when we got here 10 minutes before class, it was packed with people. We sipped on wine and cheese and watched the instructor give a demo on how to set up our plants. We were given the option of making one large terrarium or two small terrariums. I opted for the large one since I could decorate it more. They had quite a selection of plants and a few varieties of succulents to choose from. We finished in about 2 hours and were the last ones to leave. We came back with amazing additions to our living room!
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because they seemed to have overbooked their space. They had about 30 people in the class and we could go in either the front area or back room with the bigger table. Since there were so many people, my friends and I weren’t able to get a spot at a table with the supplies so we set up our spheres on the counters and had to constantly go over to the main table for supplies and ask the other guests around us for more things. The staff was extremely helpful in getting more when we needed more but it was just inconvenient to have to peek over someone’s shoulder. They should have set up a third table with more supplies.
I would definitely go make a terrarium again. They are so beautiful and easy to care for.

Ten stars. I went here this afternoon only because it’s blocks from my house. A good friend suffered a terrible loss, and I wanted to try to bring the littlest bit of sunshine to her day. I hoped that they would have some pre-​made arrangements I could choose from and be on my way. Initially, I was disappointed that this isn’t really their practice, and I started to google some other shops nearby. Their designer came out and took pity on me. She showed me some general themes. I liked one concept but wished it was a little brighter. Twenty minutes or so later she brought out a truly unique and beautiful product.
It was so nice of her, and the arrangement was very special. Thank you, thank you!

Lilli knows my wife from the wedding industry. She reached out to me with some inside suggestions about Rayna’s likes and dislikes and was extremely helpful from the beginning up through ordering.

When my husband and I first came to Lilli we were in the beginning phases of planning our wedding and knew that we needed a florist but Lilli turned out to be so much more for us! During our initial conversation with Lilli she was able to immediately understand our vision and our needs. She offered her services not only as our florist/​event designer but also as our event planner which was exactly what we were looking for. Lilli helped us put our ideas on paper, She not only asked questions, she actively listened to our answers & thoughts & incorporated them into her suggestions & decisions. We were a little stressed about our venue, we had ambitiously planned to hold both the wedding AND the reception outdoors which meant that we would need to flip the space, something our venue had never done before. After talking it through with Lilli we felt very confident in her abilities to manage our event. Working with Lilli was amazing & effortless. Her hard work allowed me to relax & know that everything was in good hands. Lilli called all of our vendors and took care of all the little things that I just could not think about while getting ready for the big day. When the wedding day finally came Lilly captured our vision perfectly. Overall the space was beautiful and exactly what I wanted for my big day. Lilli was also there to help when things did not run smoothly. Our photographer was running several hours behind which sent me into panic mode but Lilli stayed calm and helped to figure out exactly what was going on, she even gave us her camera to take shots of us getting ready that we knew the photographer would miss. I am an event planner myself so I know that I asked a lot of Lilli and her team and we had very high expectations for our wedding. Lilli and her team exceeded those expectations and everything turned out perfect, this was a wedding worthy of publication and I can’t thank Lilli and her team enough for all the hard work they put into making our day so special. If I have any other big event again in the future, I will be sure to hire Lilli. Her professionalism is on point. Anyone planning a wedding or other big celebration will find that she will be like your right arm — an absolutely invaluable part of the planning and coordination process!

Rarely can I say that I see someone’s work and then seek them out — without even knowing it. I work in the events industry in Denver and I see A LOT of flowers, table top décor and ‘table-​scapes’… I mean a lot. Like hundreds a year.
So, normally I notice really amazing floral, and by really amazing it doesn’t have to be over the top… or I notice really flat, thin, un-​inspired floral.
When someone uses super fresh flowers, has a cool design-​eye and use of color and texture — I can sometimes guess who did it.
Style wise — sometimes you can tell. And that is fun.
I saw Bella Calla’s arrangements for the first time at a luncheon and knew it was someone I had never seen before. Saw their work at a wedding event and again, knew it was unique and lovely.
And then another luncheon where I knew I had to develop a relationship with them!
And the rest is history. We do have a relationship and I am just as impressed now as I was a year ago! Oh and they deliver!
