ROCKYMOUNTAINOYSTERS!!! Prior to coming to Denver, I Unilocaled rocky mountain oysters and was surprised that not many places serve it. I did not plan on coming here but randomly walked in because the Warriors game was showing and they had an open table. Then I remembered they had the oysters! Service was friendly. We got seated quickly. Draft Beers — $ 5 — Cannot remember what I ordered but they were only 5 bucks. Rocky Mountain Oysters — $ 9 — No they are not real oysters, they deep fried balls, bull testicles! Really surprised that it was not gross. Texture was similar to squid but just a little more grainy. Dipped in the ketchup, you would think you were eating a big piece of calamari. Watching ball, munching on some balls! Good times!

Found a new favorite, Moscow mule. Very nice flavor and fresh! The store had nice history and looked very interesting. Their artifact collection was interesting. Enjoyed our time there.

Burger and fries were good. Moscow Mule was tasty. However, like many others on Unilocal it just seems as though the waiters and bar tenders are put off by their job and would rather be somewhere else. I recommend going, but if you’re ordering food it can take over thirty minutes once ordered.

The food here is terrible. Listen, its a bar… not a restaurant. It has a decent vibe and can be a good place to hang after work. Has a nice vibe and a great selection of beers and Mules. However, the food is not worth it. The staff can be hit or miss, but for the most part is pretty good. Overall its a good hang out for drinks, but thats about it.

Stopped in to see a friend who bar tends here on a visit this fall. What a great place! Amazing selection of brews, food that was good, great music and all on one of the coolest streets in downtown Denver. Short walk to anything. If its your first visit do take the tour of downstairs. Some very interesting and curious Denver history there. Do go, ask for bar tender Taylor and tell her Marie and Jim recommended the place!

The food here is vastly underrated. I have really enjoyed every dish I’ve ever had here. The turkey leg is awesome! The stuffed burgers are really good, and the chicken fried steak is delicious. They have 11−7pm happy hour which can’t be found anywhere else downtown. They have a nice selection of CO drafts and they seem to have new rotators every time I come in. The atmosphere is really unique. The building has a vintage vibe with nice high ceiling. Also, be sure to check out the vault!

This place has outstanding varieties of the Moscow Mole. If you’re tired from work this would be a great spot to relax and unwind together with a group. Take a better look upon choosing your dishes. To secure that it will suit to your preference. Also, you may ask the staff for you to be guided in choosing your food.

Come on now. If you can get great food & great service during the GABF, that says a lot. Great atmosphere & food. Even the vegetarian was happy. They claim the best Moscow mule & we are inclined to agree. SHORTVERSION=Be a Spartan(117) go there, drink some mules and enjoy.

Mules were decent, especially for a crowded holiday night. I will say the same for the service. Kudos! Halloween 2014, haunted bars, what else do you need? SPiRits! This haunted bar rocks! Great cocktails and tapas! Cheers!

I went to Blake Street Vault recently when my boyfriend and I were looking for a place to grab some lunch. We were lured in by their enticing«Happy Hour from 11−7» sign… Not sure if this is just during the week, but I love me some cheap drinks and grub! The inside of Blake Street Vault is old-school– the building used to host a saloon in the late 1800s. The atmosphere is straight from your history book. We sat inside in a big cozy booth that had an antique desk lamp on the table. For drinks, I had a Bloody Mary. It got an 82⁄100 on my rating scale(this meaning«I would recommend this Bloody Mary to anyone. It is scrumptious in terms of garnishes and actual drink, is aesthetically pleasing, and is not just a «regular old Bloody Mary»). You can see the full review here: I had three sliders($ 7 for 3. can’t go wrong!)– the short rib, buffalo chicken, and angus beef. The short rib and angus beef sliders were exceptional… The buffalo chicken slider was a little overcooked, so I didn’t end up finishing it. All in all, a great deal and really tasty. I probably wouldn’t get the buffalo chicken slider again, but maybe I just had a bad experience. My boyfriend and I also shared the cheese curds. Being from the Midwest, I love good cheese curds! I would come back for these. The seasoning reminded me a bit of Ranch dressing and they just oozed with deliciousness. All in all, I like Blake Street Vault. It’s decently priced during a(long) happy hour and the vibes are relaxed– you feel like you’re living in the past! The service was also good.

After walking around downtown for an hour or so, my friend and I decided to stop in here. I had read some great things about the spot on Unilocal, and since we are both whiskey fans(me bourbon, him Irish) we decided to check it out. What a great selection! They even had the double-oaked Woodford, which is always delicious. Prices were reasonable. My friend was even thrilled to see that Jameson was $ 5 on Sundays. Winning! The atmosphere here is fantastic and the bartenders were all very very friendly. I will be back!

Hung out here after a Rockies game last week, and I very much enjoyed myself! Granted it was a Tuesday at 1030, so there weren’t a ton of people around. But we got to chat with the bartender downstairs for a while, which is always a pleasure. I love getting to know the people around me, especially those who work so hard to please customers. We had a great time with her! Because there were so few people, most of the games downstairs had little to no waiting time, so we hit all of them! I learned how to play shuffle board, though how accurate our rules were, who knows. I enjoy having something to do at a bar other than just sit and talking sometimes, so it was nice to spice up the evening with a little friendly competition. Didn’t try any of the food, so I’ll definitely be back to give that a whirl! Highly recommend as an excellent place to chill after Rockies games.

This place just kind of sucks. Granted I’ve only come here late-night, looking to get intoxicated. But the staff sucks. Sucks bad. They have an air of pretentiousness, a snotty attitude, and all seem pretty holier-than-thou. The drinks are overpriced and weak.

We had a fun night out with friends to celebrate some birthdays. Even though I didn’t have any drinks(I was the DD). I had a really great time. The Vault had a cool vibe and our waitress was awesome! We tend to get a little annoying when we are all together and drinking, but she was fun and quick witted. Some of the crew even got a tour of the vault. I would love to come back and try the drinks!

9 of us stopped in here for drinks after having dinner. The drinks were well made & the service was fast. This is a building with a lot of history to it and the staff seemed proud of this fact & were willing to share fun facts about the place. After asking, we were given a tour of the basement where the vault is located along with the second oldest dumb waiter system in town. We had a great visit here & recommend it to all.

Went here last week for a Moscow Mule. The cup might have been the best thing about this Mule. This is downtown so it was very busy and loud for the downside. The upside is the ghost tour that you can request to see«The Vault» dang… It was a creepy story. I loved it and would go back during the Halloween season. The fries were yummy!

I am a sucker for good service and Whiskey and this place has stuff from all over the state. A definite staple on Blake st with attentive bar staff and a great happy hour. Short rib sliders are a must order as is one of the Breckenridge beers.
