Five big, shiny stars for Brew n Q. Have you been thinking about getting into homebrewing? Craig, the owner, offers homebrewing classes for beginners. Don’t have the equipment or the space to brew your beer at home? Want to take the leap from extract to all grain, but you’d like a little guidance? You can rent his equipment for a really cheap hourly rate($ 5/hr, I think) and brew on premises. You could brew your own beer for your wedding or a birthday or just get a group together for a fun event. As far as I know, Brew n Q is the only establishment in Denver to offer this. The store offers all of the ingredients, including Inland Island yeast, and equipment that you’ll need for your brew day. If something doesn’t happen to be in stock, Craig can order it and get it in quickly. Unlike some other homebrew stores in the area, Craig is eager to help and answer questions. Keep your eye out on their facebook page and website because the store hosts lectures by brewers, brewery owners, and authors on various topics, such as cellaring beer. If you’re a beer(or barbeque) appreciator, then this local shop deserves a visit.

This establishment has great ingredients and equipment at the right price and Craig, the owner, is the man. From recipe formulation, advanced brewing techniques, to kegging advice, he is a great resource.

Stopped in here today to check out home brew ingredients and hopefully get everything I needed to brew a recipe I had in mind. I spoke with the owner Craig for a few and he was a real nice guy. He’s worked in other sub-par shops and he knows what brewers want and what it takes to run a good shop. This is by far the closest shop to my home and i’ll certainly be back in the future. I got everything I needed for my recipe and didn’t have to sub any ingredients… granted it was a simple recipe but I cant remember the last time that has happened. Go check it out and you’ll be a customer for good…

I just happened to stumble upon this place as I was searching online for home brewing shops that do private events since I wanted to plan something for my husband’s birthday. I was super excited to find Brew’n Q which does brewing and BBQ — two of some of my husband’s favorite things. The owner, Craig Singleton, immediately responded back to me and was so accommodating. He helped me plan a small bday get-together in less than a week’s notice. I immediately had a good impression because of how responsive he was. We had a group of 7 people take a small beginner’s brewing class and eat some of his BBQ. Our whole event took a little over 3 hours. Craig has TONS of knowledge about all things that have to do with brewing and BBQ. He was friendly and really took the time to teach us and answer our questions. I really liked when we got to taste the different types of grains. Also, I liked that we got to try different beers he had around — some gifted to him by other breweries and some he made on his own. We chose ribs for our meal. By the time we ate, the ribs had been cooking for 7 hours already. They were absolutely delicious, and he even let us take a rack home with us. He also included potato salad, cole slaw, and celery and carrots on the side. Everything was delicious and I kept going back for more ribs. He had sauces you could use, but the ribs were so good that you didn’t really need sauce. What’s also fun about this place is that we get to come back in two weeks to bottle the amber ale we made and bring it home with us. Can’t wait for that! He has 2 beginner classes per month and they only cost $ 10 for a class which is a STEAL! If you decide to bottle and take home, you pay for the ingredients. It makes 2 cases, so you can either bring your own bottles in or buy some from here which cost $ 13.50/case. In general, the shop sells brewing and BBQ supplies, so you can always just drop in and shop around. Craig is really helpful, so if you have any questions, he’s there for you! I highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be back again!

Great brew store, I wont go anywhere else now that I’ve found this place. Craig has a great selection of brewing supplies and is super helpful if he doesn’t have what you need. I emailed him asking about what Saison yeast strains he had in. Well he was in between orders and was out, but wait, he contacted Inland Island Yeast and bam, within 24 hours he had 2 different saison yeast strains. He let me know as soon as they were in. Helpful with ingredients, helpful with recipes. I’m pretty sure this is the only brew supply store in the City of Denver proper. Support this new local business that supports other local businesses.
