Cerebral came up next on our never-ending quest for new and wonderful breweries. And it’s a darn good thing too, because this place is pretty wonderful. We sauntered in and bellied up to the bar. Now, how we usually roll is to get a flight. Fortuitously, they had 8 beers for to fly us. They really do have something for everyone here, The brown was a nice change, cloudy and unfiltered and delicious. The porter was my second favorite, and they even have a milder sour for those taste buds. I’m hoping I get the name right, since he served us so many beers, but Michael was our beer-tender and an awesome one at that. Knowledgeable in many areas, friendly, accommodating, and generally just a fun guy. The only downside is that they don’t fill growlers here. They do offer their own to fill and take, but not outside standard glass ones. I am coming back here for sure. Cheers!

Cerebral Brewing is a welcome addition to the Congress Park neighborhood. Props to Sally P. because she got it spot on. In an area of tons of development there has yet to be a proper brewery to move in. Thank you Cerebral! Tasty freshly brewed beer walking distance from home. The interior is set up a bit like a tipsy freshmen’s dream science lab. I am pretty sure they raided my high school for some of the décor.(Don’t worry guys I won’t tell) But let’s be honest, you come to a brewery for the beer. I was happy with both of the pints I tasted. The Dark Galaxy and the Night Glow were both perfect for a cold winters evening. Thick and warm and stick to your bones good! Only down side for me was the guy working the bar that night was particularly grumpy and not helpful. I am pretty sure he over charged us a buck(but really whats a dollar?) and when I ordered a beer for Claire C that was available on Nitro and forgot to specify I wanted the Nitro he didn’t ask. I know, I know picky things but to be fair I thought I should include them. Overall Yay for Cerebral! Thanks for being my new neighborhood brewery!

A friend of ours that lives in this area brought us to cerebral saying it had just opened, and of course we wouldn’t say no to trying a new brewery. Literally not even a mile walking distance from his house. Came here during a bronco game and this place quickly became one of my favorite breweries here in Denver. To be fair I’ve only been to a handful out here but the number is up to 17 when counting breweries only in Oregon, so I’ve been to my fair share. The beer here is great. Got a couple of tasters to start, both IPA’s the double IPA, and the gose. Throughly enjoyed every beer. Ended up getting a pint of both IPAs as well as a taster of the oatmeal stout, as well as a crowler of the gose for the walk down to southside. This is only a week ago and i have been dreaming of going back. The space is awesome the barrels are all right there and there are chemistry books on the walls. The staff was very friendly, and they sell crowlers! This was my first crowler ever and it was awesome. 32oz of freshly canned delicious beer instead of being stuck with what the store has. Cerebral I love you and I’m pretty sure we are going to be great friends. Colfax is our weekend spot so you can rest assured that there will not be a colfax drinking day that you guys aren’t one of my stops. Thank you so much for being awesome and making great beer!

Very hipster, minimalist brewery. Had the brown ale, IPA, and Saison. Every one was better than I expected. Will be back!

This place has some great beers and a cool scene. There is a small parking lot which is nice and they have plenty of bar space and tables for any size group. We watched some of the playoffs on a big projector and it was awesome. I highly recommend checking Cerebral out!

Great vibe, good beer. We particularly liked the pale ale. Stout was decent.

This place is new! I had the Dark Galaxie, Known Entities and the Rare Trait. All were incredible. The beers are priced at $ 6 and $ 7, a tiny bit pricy for the location(3 miles from downtown), but these are above average beers. The theme is «nerdy». It’s unique and fun. The taster cups are small beakers. Cheeky! Looking forward to coming back and sitting outside. The space inside and out is large and accommodating.

Nice new brewery off of Colfax. Good prices and nice location. Friendly staff. Worth a stop to try a small local brewery. We will be back! We did tasters, and we liked the Dark Galaxie and the Maginot Line the best. Note — They only allow dogs on the patio.

I came by to check this place out as they just opened. The space was very open and had a good amount of seating. I tried their coffee oatmeal stout, IPA, and gose. Their stout had a nice toasty flavor and rich body. The gose was spot on and had a nice balance of salt and tang. The IPA tasted a bit off to me and seemed a bit watery, but that might have been affected by my other beer choices. The staff were friendly and all seemed super excited. I loved the little sampler beakers! They had loads more taps on the wall, so I look forward to seeing how they’ll evolve.

Cerebral Brewing, I think I speak for all of the City Park, Congress Park and East Colfax neighborhoods when I say — you complete us. Dark Galaxie is going to be my go-to winter beer this season. Service was warm and efficient, ambience clean, open and kid-friendly. Looking forward to seeing how you grow up!

fantastic beer and a great space. A really well balanced selection of beers, I usually don’t like browns and many IPAs, but Cerebral’s brown, Known Entities was smooth and richly textured and the Rare Trait IPA was a complex and effervescent IPA. My favorite was the saison Maginot Line! The Cerebral brewery taproom I found to be a very relaxing, open space, perfect for warming up with friends on a winter day, playing a board game, and I can’t wait to use the patio pace on nice sunny days. I’m really excited what Cerebral and Humble Pie will add to the character of the neighborhood.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Cerebral! I’ve lived in Congress Park for 3.5 years and have watched the rapid development of everything around us(looking at you, Sprouts!). Yet, despite Denver’s brewculture, we remained brewery deprived here in Congress Park. Sadface. Never fear, Cerebral is here! The grand opening on 11/20/2015 was nothing fancy. Just a regular old brewery serving regular old beer. Everything Congress Park residents have dreamed of for at least 3.5 years! I tried the Dark Galaxie Oatmeal Milk Stout; it was nothing too special, but when you normalize beer quality to distance from my house, it gains a lot of ground! Perhaps it is concerning, but my favorite things about this brewery are: 1. The logo and the amazing merch with said logo. I’m buying everything they make. 2. YEASTPLATES. I’m a scientist, and it excites me to no end that one of the bar tables has yeast plates behind plexiglass. Amen! 3. Nah, that’s it. Logo and yeast. Looking forward to spending many evenings here with my neighborhood crew. And wearing the t-shirt everywhere possible!
