One of the best in Denver! Great staff and fun place plus some of the best beer I’ve ever had. The lil goof is a must try!

Decent beer, pretty good selection. Not a quiet place to go, prepare to yell at each other if you want them to hear you. It’s so loud, you can’t even hear the music playing. Friday nights are super crowded and muggy, we could only stay for one beer because of the atmosphere.

Place is the shit. We had our company Christmas Party there and it was an awesome time. Beers are incredible not just coming from me but the Great American Beer Fest agrees with a gold medal award winner in there quiver. Definitely check them out.

Spangalang is a fantastic, kinda hide out brewery, that has great atmosphere, nice and friendly staff, and just all around good times for friends and family. They also have an attached mini food stand called zivix. The beer at spangalang is great always changing, love the Beatrice, and all thier IPAs, d train is my favorite. :). Defintley recommend this place

All aboard… Toot, toot, next stop hipster central should be yelled out when you arriving at Spangalang brewery. Located in the old DMV, is a very cool and hip little brewery in the up and coming five point’s neighborhood.
The inside gives off a fairly laid back vibe with plenty of seating and a cool pleasant aesthetic. As for the beers, I’ve tried the sampler almost every time I have been here (thrice now) and have been pleasantly surprised each time. Nothing really makes me race back to my car for a growler, but all are very drinkable and they do make me want to come back and try the selection again. Service has always been great and the Bar staff seem to be a mix of the brewers and very knowledgeable bartenders.
This is yet another great stop for anyone looking for a good place for some day drinking or brewery touring. I highly recommend anyone to hit them up.

I really liked Spangalang Brewery for many reasons, but the number 1 reason was the jazz music they were playing! For me, music choice can make or break my experience at a brewery, and being a fan of jazz music, I really appreciated the music choices at Spangalang. Aside from that, the beers were good and there were quite a few on tap for such a new brewery! There was plenty of seating for both large and small groups, as well as standing room (which is surprisingly hard to come by at breweries for some reason). They don’t provide pretzels or popcorn, but there is a Fat Jack’s in the same plaza, as well as a new snack shop which is literally just 3 steps away. An awesome brewery!

Great beer, taproom, & people. This was a great recommendation by a Denver local. I’m glad I visited while I was in town!

If you’re looking for a new brewery that has already figured out how to make beers with the flavor of the more established breweries, this is a place you’ll want to visit in the 5 Points neighborhood. Right next to one of the light rail stops, this place opens at noon to help you start your afternoon off with a refreshing beer.

The Nightwalker stout was amazing. D-​train IPA interesting, even though I am not an IPA fan. We saved some $ with the Unilocal discount, adding to our enjoyment. Our microbrew-​loving children from Chicago had heard about this new brewery and steered us here. I have a feeling this place will succeed, as beer quality is top notch and location steps from the D-​line train makes it easy to get here.

Liked this place a lot. It was a bit dark inside, but the space has a nice cozy feel to it and the bartender was genuinely nice and attentive, which goes a long way in my book. I tried the Fresh Hop and though it wasn’t my favorite of that style, it was still pretty good. I think it’s worth checking out again, if we find ourselves back in the area.

With friends in town from Chicago itching to try new breweries, Spangalang was a collective choice! Here goes:
Star 1 = The beer is fantastic! The brewers started with Great Divide and branched off to their own little gem, that is already a town favorite! We ordered the sampler which consisted of about 12 3oz beers! My favorite part was that each beer was super creative and fun! One had infused cucumber, a few offered flavors from Colorado (palisade peaches anyone?) and all ranged in flavor, taste and style! so good!
Star 2 = Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and fun! Both bartenders gave us additional samples because they were excited to show us their brews!
Star 3 = Although the space is small, they use It well! Very industrial, great fixtures, lots of light/​windows on one wall, and local art (that is for sale!) adorn the walls :) so cool!
Star 4 = It’s a little hard to find this hole in the wall joint — there is plenty of parking and the light rail runs right by! :)
4 stars for 4 different reasons! this was a perfect daytime date!

This place is worth venturing out to from downtown. It feels like it is in a sketchy area (probably is), but it feels artsy and up and coming, so take an Über or enjoy the nice walk from downtown in good weather. They will reward you with a great lineup of craft beers. They offer three size pours (3 oz, 9 oz or ¹²⁄₁₆ oz). I enjoyed 6 of the smallest samples as I was touring some other local breweries later that night, and all were good quality. I also tried a sip of the peach and Cucumber Goze that my friend got and both are unique and good to try. The IPAs here are fantastic and so is the stout (although a little strong). I love the name of this brewery, still not sure what is named after but I kept saying Spang-​a-​langa-​ding-​dong… kinda catchy. Beer-​tender was super cool and friendly. Cheers

Spangalang’s a new brewery over in Uptown Denver with laid back vibes and nice music (soul 60s/​70s). Clean inside with a friendly staff and reasonable prices.
Samplers go for $ 2-​$ ³⁄₃ oz glass.
My fav was the Nightwalker Stout.
What I like most about this place is that the patrons can participate in naming new beers that are nameless (I submitted my entry today for the unnamed Saison Spiced w/​Pink peppercorn and dried orange peel flavored beer). Finger’s crossed xD
Would come here all the time if I lived in Denver. It’s quiet and is the perfect place to grab a drink after a long work day.

These guys are the BEER MASTERS!!! Whatever you like they’ll have something incredible for you. I’m a pretty picky dude and I’ve yet to find a brew I don’t enjoy.
The atmosphere alone makes this a Colorado classic instantly, in a historical location and owned by smart caring guys, it’s worth the stop. My only stop
Heads up there’s food closer than you think

I stumbled in here on a Sunday after hearing good things. Kelley the Bar God who works on sunday is great. Friendly and personable. The beers are delicious. I recommend trying them all. They play Jazz music. Its low enough you can talk, but at a high enough volume where you can hear it.
They have a little restaurant in back. And the Fat jacks subs is a few feet away. Go Grab a sandwich and drink some craft beers and enjoy your day as you watch the Lightrail go by.

We had a great time here last weekend. It was our first time in, and we ordered a taster of everything on the menu. Our favorites were the Beatrice Saison and the Night Walker Imperial Stout. They were out of the D-​Train IPA, and we look forward to trying that next time we stop in.
The bartenders/​brewers were great. They said they are trying to get a permit to add some outdoor space, which is just what this place needs to draw a larger crowd. Tucked away in the old DMV location it seems a little dull when you first walk up, but fear not – inside you’ll find music, snacks, and good people ready to serve you tasty beers.

The streets were barricaded off for the Jazz festival taking place in the Five Points section of Denver, and that led us to Spangalang. A rain storm forced us to take shelter, and where better than a craft brewery?
We had some IPA’s, which tasted terrific, and enjoyed the soft jazz music being played in the lot right outside. Enjoyed this quick visit. I’ll be sure to return when I return to Denver for the Packers-​Broncos game on November 1.

The crew here is largely former Great Divide brewers and staff. They definitely have transferred their skill sets over to this new enterprise. Conveniently located right at the light rail stop, this is the poster child for Five Points gentrification (whether one sees that as a good or bad thing).
We tried all 8 beers, and there was not a bad one in the bunch. My personal favorites include the Beatrice Saison, the Love Supreme, and the Night Walker. Also, considering that I am not a hop-​head, I really enjoyed the Soul Sauce IPA. Of the 8 beers on tap, 6 of them are only $ 1 a taster, with the last two being $ 2. So (do the math) you can enjoy 8 generous and delicious tasters for only $ 10 (damn!). The inside is new, comfortable, and painted in soothing blues and other colors. The Jazz theme is carried throughout, Although I am not a big Jazz fan, the music playing was enjoyable.
The Urban dictionary defines Spangalang as the classic jazz ride cymbal pattern. It is something one does when just coasting along before stuff gets complicated. From the perspective of enjoying beers in a brewery, that attitude is fine by me.

This is a great brewery! It is hidden in the Five Points Plaza and on Sunday, had the «Amazeballs» food truck parked just out front. Upon entering, you see their fermentation systems, the bar just to right and several large wooden tables.
We decided to get the taster of all of them and split it. I think it was about 8 or 9 tastes, that’s still quite a bit a beer and all for only $ 10! They make a good beer, or 8, I think anyone can find one that they will really enjoy. And this place is about 2 blocks from, so excited for a great brewery to start over in five points!

Wowzers! This place was seriously crowded last night! Is it opening week or something? Are people partying hard because they took off work for the Rockies opener Friday?
Anyway, it was packed. At moments it looked like the staff was just taking a step back and taking it all in. Yes, you were insanely busy. We tried samplers of the Beatrice (Saison), Soul Sauce (IPA), Love Supreme (Belgian Double with Cherries), and Night Walker Con Alma (with a tart ingredient I can’t recall).
Tasters are inexpensive, most are $ 1, two are $ 2. Check out the first picture I posted for Spangalang, you’ll see. All the beers we tried were hefty. I do wish the Saison was lighter. Soul Sauce had the hops. It took a few sips, but I could gradually taste the cherries in the Love Supreme. I rarely ever like stouts, but this was fermented in a wine barrel (grape juice! remembered) and it definitely grew on me.
Small note: if a person has money in hand and has been waiting at the counter for a while, please don’t serve the newcomer behind them first. Thanks!
