Cheesesteak Connection

I would like to preface this by saying that i’m not from Philly nor am i an expert in cheese steaks (but ironically right from Philly!). ;)
I came here based on all the reviews and I wanted to catch something quickly before the ball game. Like many of the reviewers, I found the cheese steak to be really good and on par with many good ones I have had over the years. i will say that I’ll go with the smaller version next time because it was just a little too much food for me.
It’s a casual, laid back atmosphere so a great spot to hit either before or after a game.

I love getting food from these guys they have some of the best cheesesteaks and waffle fries. I try to get a different one each time. My last expirience was great it tasted great and the bread wasn’t soggy.

We order from them all the time. we love them. We’ve had soggy bread before but they totally fixed it and they did it in a hurry! We love them and will continue to always buy our cheesesteaks from them. yummy!

We loved this place… until today! We place several orders each a week and when they screwed up our order today, we called the manager to express our concern. We were not looking for a free meal — we just wanted them to know that the order we placed was NOT what we got. The manager actually told us that we were wrong, to stop ordering from them and to «find a new restaurant» to eat at. Thanks to their poor customer service, we are no longer ever eating there again!

I was hanging out having beers at River North Brewery last night and I realized I needed some dinner. Cheesesteak Connection came up on my Unilocal app as being nearby and delivering so I promptly gave them a call. Cheesesteak and beer are a lovely pairing, amirite?
The best part about this delivery is that our cheesesteaks arrived piping hot to the brewery within about 15 minutes. We ordered just the plain cheesesteaks, mine with just meat, cheese, and mushrooms, and they were a perfectly melty, messy mix of ingredients. The bun was perfectly soft as well. You could choose between 8 and 12 inches. I went with 8 and it was a great size for me.
If you are in the area and need a quick delivery I would definitely recommend Cheesesteak Connection to satisfy your hunger.

Lived in Philly so it’s a tough order to fill being a shop in Co. Great bread and peppers but meat was really salty both on the sub I had and my girlfriends salad…

They need to go show Billy’s how to put some flavor on the bun. Pepper Philly wit the whiz all day. PBR.

as a vegetarian/​vegan for over 20 years, i have had my fair share of salads. and the House salad from the Cheesesteak Connection is my favorite! The staff is always friendly to me (even when they are swamped with Rockies foot traffic) and they support music with all the local venue posters displayed. $ 1 PBRs all day on Fridays. who could not love this place?

I eat here every few weeks. recently I had a craving for an Italian meat sandwich.
When I approached the order counter, there was a sign, «Out of Italian Meat», what?
So I reluctantly order a club sandwich, pay for it, then I informed by someone from the kitchen (with an attitude”) that they were out of bacon, what? hmmmmm, a club sandwich without bacon, what’s the point?
Asked for a refund, both the kitchen guy and counter guy were rude, and would not print out a credit card copy of my refund.
Sent a email to their corporate office, no response.

Great stop by the stadium. Very reasonable prices too.
I like my steak with a little more seasoning and toppings, but nonetheless a pretty good cheesesteak. I don’t know how i feel about American on cheesesteak, so I swapped out for provolone, no problem. Very friendly service.
The rolls are legit too. Nothing ruins a cheesesteak like a bad roll. I’d go back before a game, no question

I ordered delivery so I think that may have affected the sweet potato fries… they were a disgusting, soggy mess when I got them and almost fell through the paper bag that they came in because there was so much moisture.
I got the BBQ cheesesteak. The sauce wasn’t bad but the meat was really tough and didn’t seem very fresh.
The potato salad was the worst I’ve ever had. Tasted like weird chemicals or something.
Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

Solid sandwhich. I had a classic and she had an italian.
Juicy, a touch salty, and I also reccomend extra cheese. Overall flavor was good!
I am used to a crispier shell on the bread, but no biggie.
Portions were ample. 2 could split a large, unless your starving…

What I had? Classic Philly (Steak, american cheese, served on Amoroso Roll with Onions and peppers))
Food review: This sandwich here came very very close to beating my favorite philly cheesesteak in town. The only thing that really held it back is that it wasn’t as juicy as Lenny’s Sub shop’s philly and it was just a little bit «saltier». Otherwise, this philly easily is my 2^nd favorite philly in town. It’s very tasty and not dry. :-)
Service? No complaints
Other thoughts: I’m a little worried about how «dead» the place tends to be.

What can i say that 47 other people haven’t said not much so I’ll keep it short. Its a good Cheesesteak. I would have preferred a little more Whiz than they put on but it is what it is. I do like the openness of the store and it’s really good location. Its not the best I’ve had but it’s not the worst I’ve had. I’ll go back again.

I am gonna bust out my east coast cred again… I have alot of family in PA so I have had a more than fair share of phillys in my time. These guys know what they are doing!
I had the southwest style, and wow it was aweeeeesome. I also tried a bite of the chicken teriyaki, it was ok but steak woulda been the better choice. Its called a cheesesteak right? The 8″ is perfect for a small/​medium sized lunch and really reminds me of wawa. one of my fav’s from out east.
Service is friendly and quick. The location makes it a convient spot for lunch or gameday… or whenever I want since I live a block away :)

Yummy. That’s all I can say. It’s not Pat’s but it’s a great substitute for lunch downtown.
Oh yea… A+ for making the chicken philly since I don’t care for the traditional philly meat.

I don’t like Chilly Pheasesteaks. But I love hoagies and grinders, so this place is great for me!
I don’t go often, but when I do I love it. Great food, guys behind the counter are great. it’s an awesome place to pop in and grab an easy lunch.
I’ve yet to try a tasty cake but damn I sure want to.
The spicy Italian is yumsville
Pro Tip: Check in before you go inside. The building is a cel service blackhole. at least with ATT.

Stopped here for a quick bite on the way back from the gym. Though cheesesteaks are the thing here, I decided on a meatball sub.
Boy, was it tasty. Usually with meatball subs you get this lumpy mass of tasteless meat. NOT THIS ONE. Talk about a tasty, homemade-​ish meatball. Not too much bread, which is also one of the downfalls of subs in general in my book.
Definitely going back, and soon.

Starving from working all afternoon at Mile High Station to get ready for Unilocalapalooza 2.0, Katie «Bombshell» R and I decided we needed to order something to eat to fuel us for the evening. We used my iPhone to search for nearby sandwich places that deliver and after a few calls, we found Cheesesteak Connection.
Without a menu in front of me, I ordered a variety of sandwiches… a turkey with guac for me, an Italian for Katie, and a couple extras of those plus a couple of Cheesesteaks for the staff that was helping us. I wished they had a whole wheat bread option but they didn’t… and I wasn’t going to dwell on it.
The guy who took my order was patient and friendly. He told me our food would arrive in 45 minutes or so, but it took just over an hour. We scarfed it down when it came and it totally hit the spot…
and it did it’s job — it fueled us for an incredible evening ahead. Thanks Cheesesteak Connection!
