Consistently great food! The appetizers are often just as good as the burgers, their chips and salsas are great as well as the fries and onion rings. I love how many options for build your own burgers there are, and how reasonably priced they are as well. Patio dining is the nicest thing about the place, but the only reason why I gave it a 4⁄5 is because the servers always forget about you when you sit on the patio. As much as I love the food, we’ve had to leave on several occasions because we ordered our drinks, and the server never came back to give us our drinks or take our food order.

WOW!!! The burger selection is Ahhhhmazing. I would say it is one of the best burgers we have ever had! Genius. Our server, Malcolm, is one of the nicest we have ever met. He was very knowledgeable about the food and gave us a little history on the place. He recommended we try something new, and we are thankful he did! We will be back! YUMMY!

Whenever and I mean WHENEVER I have friends or family visit in good ol’ Denver, we go to Cherry Cricket. It is the cure for the picky eater or the adventurous eater. If you are someone like me, you try something different every time. OR if you find what you love and want to stick to it, you can be like my husband and get the peanut butter and bacon burger. Don’t knock it until you try it. Tis quite yummy! The atmosphere is your typical sports bar and the wait can be a little annoying for those who have never been, but on a nice day you can enjoy Cherry Creek whilst waiting to be seated for your soon-to-be best burger ever. Oh… get the frings.

Hands down probably the best burger I have had in a long time. I have eaten at a lot of burger joints from CA to NYC. Granted I have eaten a lot of good burgers including many places in Denver but these burgers leave memories. The burgers were cooked perfectly medium nice and thick in a place with a nice atmosphere. Granted I don’t go there for the beers just the burgers.

BEST. BURGER. EVER. Used to work down the street from this place and still remains the best burger I’ve ever had. Perfectly grilled burger every time, medium rare with smoked cheddar on top. The«frings» basket(fries and onion rings) is the way to go. Enjoy a cold beer while you nosh on the tastiest burger your mouth has ever seen.

Best burger I’ve ever had… on three different occasions! Perfectly cooked medium rare, fatty juicy delicious beef, fresh toppings, quick service considering how busy they are, and they have Dogfishhead 90 Minute on draft which I can’t get enough of! Rugged atmosphere but clean!!! Dive bar feel with 5 star grub! I’d recommend: Cricket burger Cream cheese Jalapeño Avodaco Bacon Fried egg Dijon The trick is to not put the burger down until it’s gone ;)

Oh greasy goodness! I’ve been here a couple times before so this review is long overdue. Came here this time with the family and a cousin who was visiting from out of town. This place doesn’t disappoint. As I write this review, I’m salivating at the thought of eating here again! Love that the people are friendly, quick to make sure our kiddos get their orders placed(before they go nuts!), and if we need anything, the servers get it taken care of right away. What’s great is you can customize your burger or sandwich to your liking. And if you are like me, who can be indecisive with which ingredients to add… Have no fear… Your choice of food will still be quite delicious!

busy busy place on a Saturday night. the wait was about 20 minutes. not too bad. atmosphere was good. very loud in here. service was fast and courteous but a little slow on refilling teas. we both had burgers. they were great. fries were good. I asked for well done on my burger and it was cooked properly. no pink! chips salsa and guac for appetizer! great flavor on the salsa. guac was chunky like I like it but lacked in flavor.

The burgers are great. The ranch is awesome. Mash puppies were really good. Fries were good. The BBQ sauce is not like regular BBQ, but like a spicy Arby’s sauce. The hummus was really bland and overall bad.

Great food, found this on a foodie website and it’s def worth a stop in. Very bar like and the food came out pretty fast. They mashed potato ball things were the best! Fries were good too, the green chili burger that Aaron Sanchez suggested was pretty good, I wouldn’t go nuts over it though.

The Cherry Cricket is a Cherry Creek institution. My husband and I had our 3rd date here and now we’ve been married for 16 years. It was a place we went frequently in our 20’s when we lived in the neighborhood. I was Christmas Shopping at Cherry Creek Mall when an old friend suggested it for lunch. It hasn’t changed a bit. They sat us in the back room and I had a Sauvignon Blanc and ordered the Gyro with pita instead of the sub version on the menu. We shared a basket of fries and rings too. I think this is more of a burger place and that’s what you should order. My lunch was good but didn’t quite wow me. My friend always orders a burger when she comes here but I had just had one the night before. When you are craving a burger this is the place to come and they have a good beer selection too.

No wonder it’s ranked as the best burger in Denver. Great selection of toppings — I went with avocado, egg, peanut butter, mozzarella, and bacon. Wow.

Massive burgers. Delicious fried sides… thick and amazing shakes. Service was good and attentive. The ambiance is neighborhood bar and grill, so don’t expect anything special, but the prices are great and the food was huge and delicious. Overall, a great place to eat when you’re in the area, and a great place to go out of the way to eat as well. Thumbs up for sure.

After hearing about this place from so many people, I finally made it. I guess I didn’t realize some of the draw is because it’s the only original building /business left in the area. Ok, that’s pretty cool and sad at the same time. I don’t what it looked like before all this new construction so I don’t know if it’s truly sad, My first impression upon walking in is that this is one of the old bars that you might find in some podunk town in the middle of Indiana. It has those generic table and red chairs and a good number of seats around the table. Of course, there is also a back room to this restaurant as well. The one thing Cherry Cricket claims is that it has the best burgers in Denver. Then again, half a million of other places say the same thing. I’d be remiss if I didn’t actually try it for myself so what better starting point than the Cricket Burger? Plain, simple, easy… and delicious! It reminded me of my mom’s right off the BBQ. it had that charcoal taste I love, it was made as perfectly as you could when asking for medium rare(amazing how many places screw that up!). And indeed, I am believer that perhaps this is the best that Denver has to offer. The beer list also impressed me. On the website it lists a couple generic brews but the bartender quickly slipped me a sheet of their beers on tap and I was beyond excited! So many good options to choose from! I think Cherry Cricket might find me back to watch a game, debate over the beer selection, and to enjoy one hell of a juicy and tasty burger!

This burger joint is always booked and busy when we come. When you enter the restaurant they check your ID and give you a stamp to identity you’re over 21. Unless you’re a germ-a-phobe, it’s kind of nice to not have to dig for your ID while ordering a drink. The vibe is definitely a loud bar-ish with a great diverse of music selection from R&B, alternative, pop, hip hop and etc. The service is also good. It’s pretty much build your own burger and there are many great sides. There’s a fun dart board you can throw throw darts for your sides if you are feeling indecisive and adventurous. We were craving an all American burger burger but wanted to add some herb cream cheese on it! Pickles are fresh and perfectly pickled. The burger is good but not great. Sides are inexpensive and there’s a FRINGS for you fried and onion ring lovers like me. Coors light for $ 2.75 and mixed drinks for $ 5 specials weekly!

Finally, finally got the chance to head here for dinner last week. I’ve been told countless times that they have the best burgers in town, and the reviews are almost off the charts here on Unilocal. Wellllll it was okay. The burger was tasty, and the fries were perfect, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stop by. And definitely not the best burgers in town, though they do have an awesome selection of «Build Your Own» ingredients. If I’m in the area, I’d love to drop in again, give the menu another go. Just think I missed the hype on this one! On to the next!

GREATBURGER… WORTH A VISIT! Friendly and prompt service. A great hole-in-the wall restaurant. Visiting Denver all the way from Miami and decided to check the place out. The burger I had was great, you pick the size burger you want and lots of topping options. OHH… you MUST try their mash puppies(fried mashed potato balls, yep that’s right, FRIED!) Definitely coming back if I’m ever in the area again.

Oh, Cherry Cherry Cricket. I respect the heritage and history of this place, quite impressive to run and stay in business for years! The place itself is quite interesting, right in the middle of very posh and hipster shopping and cultural district. It was quite surprising at first: old school, rather dark bar with simple flare. Nice friendly servers. However, judging just on the food: much ado about nothing. Tried the burger and half fries half rings. Well, let’s just say I experienced better. Sad but true!

Ok, first things first. They had a beer called something apricot ale and it was amazinggggg. It’s definitely not very bitter. and tastes fruity. so it’s good for girls who don’t like hoppy or bitter beer. And at the same time, it still tasted like beer! I would come back here just for the beer alone. I had the little cricket burger(quarter pound – definitely big enough) with cream cheese, grilled pineapples, grilled onions, and grilled green chile. The burger was pretty good!!! My friend and I also shared an order of fries and that was super good as well. Everything went so well with the apricot beer hahaha. I really need to come back and try the peanut butter on my burger. I heard it’s amazinggg. I love that you can create something new each time you come here. And the toppings are definitely unique. Can’t wait to be back to enjoy a different burger with the amazing apricot ale!

So we were shopping in my favorite area of Denver, CO-Cherry Creek and we asked the man working at Nordstrom for a restaurant recommendation for lunch and he said Cherry Cricket was the place to go. Boy, was he right! My son said it was one of the best burgers he has ever had. I don’t think the waiter could believe how fast my son devoured that burger. We both had burgers and split some fries. Our lunch was truly delicious and fast(but not fast food!). Everyone that worked there was really friendly and attentive. They were quite busy-a really popular place dating back to 1945. I highly recommend the Cherry Cricket!
