I usually love Chipotle but the last 2 times I’ve been to this location, I’ve had to throw out food. I always get a burrito bowl with chicken. When I walked back to my office and started eating, I noticed the chicken was really fatty, like all chewy and gross. That was a couple of weeks ago. Went back today thinking it was a fluke or something. Nope. Same gross, fatty pieces of chicken. Maybe it’s a location issue, but I’ve definitely been turned off going to Chipotle for quite awhile.

I’m a die-hard Chipotle fan. And I get the same exact thing every single time. Every. Single. Time. The food is always wonderful! I love this location– the staff members are always friendly(even in the face of a monstrous line!) and very time efficient.

Absolutely addicted to Chipotle… however, just went in today and had an awful experience with the customer service. The ladies making my bowl were incredibly rude, and really shouldn’t be working in the food industry if they can’t deal. There were no lemons over by the hot sauces… but I was too afraid to ask the woman for help my god she was a nightmare.

Lunch at this busy location. It seems that assembly process for a bowl(chicken) varies from location to location and person to person. There is little patiences by the preparer to listen to the customers’ requests. Once you get there attention(example less rice, more beans or I want all three salsas), they follow it well. Great taste as always.

This is the most efficient Chipotle I have ever went to. They are not only speedy, but work as a team. The food was good as usual and the ambiance has a lot to be desired… pretty bleak and factory looking. The downside is dirty seats. They clean the table tops pretty quickly but ignore the seats. 3 out of 4 at my table looked like a child ate off the seat.

Chipotle fan I am. First time here at the Denver location and my favorite is the chicken bowl. Get to the counter to pay and the young lady tells me my meal is on the house. Boy Was I surprised and grateful! Thank you guys so much!!! That was truly a blessing. Never had that happen to me before. Food was outta sight though as well as the customer service. I will definetly be back next time I’m in Denver!!!

I saw the other reviews but maybe I felt on bad employees , Really bad service, I have been eating chipotle regularly for more then 5 years ‚ I am always receiving a good amount of meat in my burrito, and if not I always ask for a bit more and there is never a problem … I came to this location, no one was in front . It took 5 minutes till someone came to give attention, and then the lady put a ridiculous amount of meat, and when I said if she can put a bit more meat, she replied by saying its would be an extra cost of double burrito :-o … I have bought more then 300 times in chipotle and I have been really disappointed with this type of altitude …

I walked past 2 Qdobas to come to this Chipotle. That’s devotion. Devotion to Sofritas. And boy was it worth it. The line was almost out the door when I arrived, but thankfully the super-speedy staff had me walking out the door, sofritas burrito in hand, less than five minutes later. They were all so happy, just smiling away. It’s almost as if they knew just how excited I was to eat my burrito. And when I unwrapped the beautiful tin-foil monster, it was so packed with deliciousness that the poor tortilla could barely contain it. It didn’t matter though because it was devoured ravenously. Despite the failing tortilla, I didn’t spill a drop. I was too determined to savor every last bite. Needless to say, I may have a problem. An addiction to Chipotle burritos. A drive that forces me to walk past multiple restaurants that serve burritos without a second glance. I need my Chipotle. It’s the only way to satisfy my burrito craving. In other words: Try a sofritas burrito! :)

I wanted to give a big shout out to Priscilla who works the register. With each visit she is ALWAYS smiling and very friendly. She is a good representation of how someone should interact with customers, and someone that others can learn from. Management should reward Priscilla with a promotion of some kind, in my opinion. Great service, Priscilla!

I come here almost everyday for lunch but usually for takeout. Yesterday I dined in with some friends and we were very pleasantly surprised at how cool the staff were. I mean it’s chipotle but just saying it’s pretty exceptional when you have someone coming by to check how your food is, and when the cashier is always so friendly and upbeat. Illegal Pete’s is still where I’ll go for late night poor decisions but chipotles steak is where my heart belongs… Or whatever fits in there next to my stomach

Yep, I’m a fan of Chipotle. I’m not sure how you can’t be. Sure, if you get one of their massive burritos slathered with sour cream and extra cheese, you’re going to be eating a giant, fat laden gut bomb. But if you temper the sour cream and cheese and just choose 1 or neither, it might still be high calorie, but it’s quality calories. And that’s one of the things I like best about Chipotle. The food is clean. Antibiotic-free meats and dairy, freshly made guac, fresh salsas & lettuce. I never feel awful after eating at Chipotle, unlike after eating at just about any other fast food/fast casual outlet. Lately I’ve been partial to their salads. Steak salad to be exact. I get a tasty, filling meal that’s low on carbs, high in protein, and extra large on flavor. This particular restaurant is always on point, too. Even when the line is huge, it moves very quickly. When the restaurant is at its busiest, everything still seems clean and organized. I tend to avoid this place when it’s really busy — best to get there before 11:40 or wait until after 1:20.

Don’t ever be scared of the length of the line when you hit-up this busy 16th Street Mall location for a weekday lunch as it moves incredibly fast! Working upstairs, I find myself grabbing lunch here about once a week and it simply never disappoints. It not only hits the spot in my belly, but the crew of employees here are always friendly when taking my order and even quick to pick up after me while I dine-in. And don’t even get more started on the guacomole… So. Darn. Good.

Oh Chipotle… the love hate relationship I have with you, and yet reality proves you have some type of a hold on me that always keeps me coming back. On one end, it is a chain that has grown to enormous proportions, and because of this you have seen some quality sufferance with the passing of time. With that being said it’s not what Chipotle is in the realm of mega-chains, it’s what it is not. For one, the quality is miles above any other fast-food chain in regards to the ingredients used and the sourcing process. Add that to the fact you won’t be bombarded with endless amounts of chemicals and food additives that convince you it tastes good through artificial stimulation and chemical dependency, just simple flavor. Of course, much of this is thrown out the window knowing they dowse everything in GMO-soybean oil, but nobodys perfect, and I believe Chipotle is always working to better themselves in that regard. What I’m trying to say is, if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat, Chipotle is a decent choice instead of the usual chemically altered life-span shortening crap Americans eat on a daily basis — and for the that I am thankful.

I don’t get why this chain is so popular, Qdoba tastes so much better and has more options. No major complaints, it is just average and I don’t like the salsas as much as Qdoba’s. I think you get a little more food for your money at Qdoba too.

Fast Mexican. Good for a quick lunch down on 16th Street Mall. Even when they have a long line which they did, they were able to move it very fast. First time I have experienced an employee checking the line for people paying with cards and allowing us to order and pay through him so by the time we made it up to the front all we had to do is get our food and leave — makes for a faster line so you don’t have to wait for card transactions. Good deal! I am a sucker for their burrito bowls — Yummy.

Chipotle is always a solid choice. If you haven’t been to one, I would recommend trying this location as the service is good and the employees are helpful. This is a good choice for lunch when the line for Illegal Petes is too long to wait. Chipotle keeps the line moving and the service is nice and quick. Perfect spot for lunch or dinner. They also have an outside patio which is a nice spot to sit, relax, read, and people watch.

Much like my Qdoba review, nothing real special here, but not a bad lunch stop every now and again. I like the idea of local sourcing for freshness, but I question how much it actually happens. The product they put out is very consistent, so that’s good, but it’s the root of my raised eyebrow about sourcing. Anyway, I typically have a burrito bowl(’cause I have to watch my churlish figure…) with black beans and chicken, mild and hot salsa, cheese and lettuce. The various locations around town each have their own architectual high points, and it makes it less like the Micky-D’s of the future I believe these places to be. I’d go here if I’m dragged or just out of ideas, or the place I really wanted to go to was closed or I’m out of protein drinks at home or my Mom didn’t invite me over, or…

Outstanding. I’m a fan of Chipotle in general, but the employees at this location are so consistently friendly and helpful! Sometimes my two veggie tacos for lunch here are the highlight of my day, and even when the line snakes toward the door, it never takes more than two minutes or so to get up to the register.

I agree with Jelena’s comment about not reviewing chains very much, but this WAS born in Colorado, so why not. This location is very consistent and is incredibly fast over the lunch hours. They have the system down and the ladies on the line work together in harmony. The Good: Cheap eats that taste pretty damn good. Funny ladies on the line. If they seem serious, just smile and joke, and they are right there with you. The Fair: The meat… come on now, you used to give me a nice serving of meat. Now? It’s like there is a recession or something and you’re trying to cut costs! BAH! The Horrid: Nada

I’ve always though Chipotle was better tasting than Qdoba. I can pay $ 6 and not be hungry afterwards(that’s a huge plus). The quality of food hasn’t strayed much and I know exactly what I’m getting when I eat there. It’s on the 1st floor of my office building so it’s convenient enough for lunch. Considering that many other places on the downtown mall are $ 10 for lunch I’m pretty happy with Chipotle.
