Cookies N Cream

This place absolutely hands down has the best ice cream and milk shakes I’ve ever had. Even in the dead of winter I go here to have milkshakes. I’m 33 years old and go in here for date night to play board games with my girlfriend.
Friendly staff. Great product. I love this place.

Yum! Stopped here while in town for a wedding. Great family atmosphere. Lots of ice cream flavors and toppings. Waffle cones are made fresh on the premises! They even offer a sampler with your choice of five flavors and a waffle chip. Also, fresh baked cookies and popcorn.

Excellent kid centric ice cream shop with games, quality ice cream, and friendly service.
Highlights:
— Lots of flavors: a whole row of so many different options including unique knew crazy vanilla (rainbow colored) and red velvet.
— Peanut butter cup: chocolate ice cream with thick ribbon chunks of peanut butter. One of the best I’ve had as a pb chocolate lover.
— Games: checker tables, connect 4, uno, etc. My 4 year old son played checkers for the first time here today,
— Coloring station: crayons and several ice cream related pics to choose from
— Service: super friendly guy who welcomed us to try whatever we want and was patient as we decided
— Dietary sensitivity: have flavors marked gluten free and section for low sugar
— Other options: Italian ice, ghiraddeli frozen drinks, shakes, smoothies
Lowlights:
— I had no intention of getting anything but they got me with multiple peanut butter chocolate options: chocolate ice cream with peanut butter ribbon chunks, pb ice cream with chocolate swirl, and several flavors with moose tracks (pb covered in chocolate bits)
Had a wonderful visit there and will be back!

Oh my goodness! YUMMO! Drove by this place while out visiting my patients. Had never noticed it before. Such a cute little establishment. Very bright and airy — just like a good olé fashioned ice cream shop should be. I was greeted immediately with a genuine smile by the owner (didn’t get his name but he was so sweet and friendly). They have over 60 flavors of ice cream!!! They do cones, milkshakes, banana splits — all of the favorites. I got a cookies and cream milkshake topped off with a scoop of German chocolate cake ice cream. DELISH!!! There are several tables and all have games and coloring books on them for the children. Fun place! I’m bringing my kids here soon!

Best ice cream parlor in area. They carry Hershey’s brand ice cream which is my favorite. The milk shakes are amazing. Give this place a try if you are in the area.

This local establishment opened March 24, 2012. I just noticed it while driving by on my way to Taylorsville. Of course, I had to stop by on the way back and was not disappointed. I stumbled across black cherry ice cream. This is a flavor from way back in the day when there were just 12 or so flavors. It was a absolutely delicious! I should not have had it, but i couldn’t help myself after a taste. This brought back fond memories of having ice cream with Mom. After describing the experience to her on the phone, she said she could taste it! She is looking forward to another trip to NC. In any case, I am going to stop by Cookies N Cream again today but I may be strong enough to leave with just another ‘taste’ of the black cherry and no more. However, I sincerely and enthusiastically look forward to another serving of this wonderful ice cream flavor.
Back to the restaurant, they have a few tables with checkers built into the tabletop. These were primarily occupied by the kids. There were plenty of other tables available but we chose to sit in the high stools and look out of the window. This is a nice establishment and the staff members were kind and accommodating. The owners said they wanted to open a local ice cream parlor and they have accomplished that task. There was a steady flow of customers as well. You won’t be disappointed as they have numerous flavors of fresh ice cream; something to suit even the pickiest eater (crazy vanilla)!
