Dunkin’ Donuts

Don’t know why people have been so tough on this place. Based on the reviews, I was reluctant to try it but did so today & it was fine. Donuts are still not as good as when they were made fresh in the stores but everything seemed very similar to every other Dunkin’ Donuts I’ve been to recently.

(Dine in) As I step up to order, there is no greeting, no «May I take your order»…nothing but staring awkwardly at me. Ok, fine. I’ll order, and smile politely. Charged $ 5 for an additional combo that I didn’t order? And you didn’t tell me, Smiley? Come on. Good thing I’m observant and OCD about my money. I’ll take that $ 5 refund. And you’re not going to willingly give me the water I ordered and paid $ 0.25 for? I’ll take that too. I’d also like a quick wipe down of my table and sweep of the floor before I eat, but it’s cool. I got it. At least the food was good, even if it did take all my energy to remain calm and happy. Thank you… have a wonderful day. I’ll tell you that, since you didn’t bother to tell me.

My one star is in no way meant to give this location ANY credit. This Dunkin Donuts is only getting this rating because I really do like the Dunkin Donuts’ breakfast sandwiches and hash browns. They are really good. Which makes the existence and poor management of this store even more of a travesty. We need more options in this area. However, this place is by far the worst restaurant of any caliber I’ve ever been to. We have tried to give it a chance numerous times… purely on the fact that the food is tasty. However… after my experience today… I have committed to never going back. And I announced this to my kids «Eat up and enjoy. I will not be spending another dime here.»
The people I’ve been served by there are rude, slow and just do not understand the concept of customer service AT ALL. It’s amazing.

Here is my update to my previous two visits to the long awaited D&D in Denver.
…it’s still a hot mess. I believe they have hired some new folks and that has helped a bit on service but the manager is still missing the boat on running a tight ship. Your shop cannot be this dirty every single time we come in and it’s a coincidence.
From the last person’s review, it would appear that the locals seem to have no other choices and thus put up with (and think it’s ok) a dirty restaurant. Others deserve a better effort from this D&D.

My wife and I are frequent flyers at this Dunkin’ and we have never had any of the problems the other reviewers have had.
The staff has always been friendly and they have always had any type of donut we wanted.
A few crumbs on the floor does not freak us out if we see they are busy and don’t have time to clean them up the second they hit the floor. As long as we don’t see mold on the crumbs indicating they have been on the floor for a looong time, or rats or roach bugs running around, we have no problems with a few crumbs on the floor. As a matter of fact on our last visit within a few minutes of arriving, an employee came out and began sweeping the floor and emptying trash.
My wife and I love the new dark roast coffee and we have tried a few breakfast menu items besides donuts that we like as well.
So far on our many visits here, we have not experienced anything that would make us think twice about coming back.

This is the WORST Dunkin donuts anyone will ever go to… Seriously. I have been to so many DD over the years in many different states and this is the worst one I’ve ever been to.
They never have the donuts I want. It’s a DUNKIN DONUTS!!! Donuts is in your name and you don’t have any to serve ?! I was so furious when they said they didn’t have any Jelly filled or chocolate donuts so they gave me this round donut without evened frosting on top and the brown sugar was piled in one place and not spread out. It looked unappetizing and the presentation of the food was poor.
They also got my coffee drink wrong three times and it wasn’t busy at all! We were the only ones there. It was just a caramel iced coffee. And they have me a regular black coffee.
This new Dunkin donuts needs to hire new workers who actually speak into the microphone. These people seem sad and angry and do not look like they feel confident and about their job. I wish it was a better experience but it was flat out awful!!! I will not be visiting here again. Nobody should until they get their act together. Sorry… Not sorry.
