What a lovely shop! Definitely one of the cutest and coziest I’ve been to in Denver, and I live in this neighborhood, so it’s nice to not have to trek downtown or to cap hill for a solid cup of coffee served by knowledgeable and passionate people. I had the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe cold brew(yep, in January!) and it was amazing! The customer service from the women behind the counter was warm and friendly. I didn’t get any food, but their baked goods look very good, and they include a few gluten free options. They also serve those yummy Mame’s burritos that every shop in Denver carries. My only complaint is that it’s so dark inside the shop! I came in the early afternoon but the«mood lighting» would have been better suited for early morning or evening. There were several people in there doing work and I can’t imagine it was very easy on their eyes, but it was just fine to relax with my coffee.

An unassuming place producing a great product. The iced vanilla latte was rich, decadent and the right amount of sweet and strong. The décor is clean as is the establishment and the service was impeccable. Check it out and pull up a chair and stay a while.

Well let’s start w the food and coffee and such… all quite good; but what’s more unique and appreciated is the ambiance – the music is perfect and not too loud; love the rustic vibe… no pretentious attitudes here.

This review is specifically for the coffee. I received a bag of Butler’s Blend from Copper Door Coffee Roasters as a gift from a friend. We are really enjoying the smooth flavor of this medium roast and it’s easy to taste the care that went into the roasting of and freshness of these beans. Looking forward to visiting in person someday!

Don’t judge a book… this quaint little coffee shop is in kind of a janky strip mall but it’s an inviting place inside AND they make a great latte, Art included. I went in twenty minutes before they closed and the barista still asked if I wanted my latte in a mug. Not being rushed allowed me to enjoy my cup of happiness in the relaxing environment that Cooper Door offers.

Best lattes in town– Not overly sweet and just yummy. Also, even though they are always busy, it’s never too noisy in the shop which I appreciate.

My latte with almond milk is terrible. I really wanted to love this place because it’s so close to where I live and because the shop is so cute inside – a wall of vintage doors, comfy kings chairs and a Unilocal discount for checking in – but my small drink at almost $ 5 was so bad I threw it away. It’s so week all I taste is the almond milk, and I can’t put my finger on why but something about the coffee tastes off; really really off. On the off chance this was a fluke, I might give copper door one more chance. But, only because it’s so close

My husband and I just moved into the neighborhood, and I was ecstatic to discover Copper Door Coffee Roasters! A neighborhood jaunt that knows their coffee and has a cool ambiance?! Winning! Copper Door is located in a little strip mall at 10th and Jersey, diagonal from Mayfair Park. It has become a morning walk destination for my dog and I. My americanos have always been perfect. Today I even added a bit of pumpkin(from a local company – love!) and was pleasantly surprised. The shop has numerous tables located inside, a bar for those who want to sit and be undisturbed, and a beautiful wall of antique doors that I can stare at for far too long. Perch up in one of their leather chairs if you plan to stay a while! I’m not much a coffee snob, but I definitely believe this coffee is amazing. Artisan batches and I just found out that the coffee is roasted with wind power. Though I’m pretty boring with my order(Americanos, all the time), they do have alternative milks(almond, coconut) and a variety of sweeteners as well. You can plan on finding a selection of pastries to try right next to the cashier. They also serve Mame’s burritos, sandwiches, and quiche! On Sundays, you can grab a Glazed and Confused donut. I need to keep that in mind. Bonus: they have Ice Cream Riot ice cream in a freezer – a favorite of mine!

Friendly place to grab fantastic coffee. I’ve tried many of their lighter roasts and always enjoy them. Oh and great music/ambiance.

Artisan, small-batch coffee that will satisfy any connoisseur, and from a roasting company with great values(coffee is roasted with local wind power). Great space and centrally located in Mayfair — right between Congress Park, Park Hill, and Hilltop neighborhoods. Drink local! If you don’t live within walking distance, this place is worth the drive. I stop in before I go grocery shopping at TJ’s or Sprouts on colfax.

My vote for best shot of espresso. J and CJ tried to give Hannah(who roasts the beans on site) all the credit, but these two know how to pull a shot. The house espresso, Porta Aperta, is BEAUTIFUL. Great atmosphere: secret door wall, window to the roaster, cooler full of crazy ice cream flavors, and fun, friendly baristas. Love it!

Copper Door Coffee Roasters is a small, locally owned coffee shop that actually understands how to roast beans. The coffee is so much better than most chains due to this understanding. Dark roast to me does not mean«burned», which is what I feel like happens a fair amount of the time at the larger chains. The strip mall this coffee shop is in is a bit odd, but they make the best of it with a calm feeling interior and a no frills patio seating area. Nice enough counter staff and reasonable prices make Copper Door Coffee Roasters a winner!

Came here on a random and impromptu coffee date & was pleasantly surprised at their selection. They offer almond milk, which is a huge plus and not many coffee places do! Cute little coffee shop, no doubt that I’ll be back!

Décor wise this shop is adorable, but as others have pointed out, not great for intimate conversation or getting work done. They do have two outdoors tables where a friend and I chatted. The coffee was good, but in a city with some stellar coffee roasters, it wasn’t memorable. My biggest let down was actually that while I waited in a line of 5 people at the register, the 3 staff talked among themselves and didn’t seem to be in any hurry to move the line along. It wasn’t a packed house, just a small rush, and I wish they had been a little more engaging at the time. I will say that I feel as though their coffee is more reasonably priced then some of our other local independent shops.

So if you’re just here for the coffee, then you came to the right place. It’s excellent. If you’re here for a spot to hang out… I’m not sure what to tell you. The staff is laid back and friendly. I absolutely love the décor! It’s something different, something creative, and even versatile. There’s a wall made of doors, there’s a kids’ table in one corner, and there’s a really nice chess set in another. On the other hand, the place needs some cloth wall hangings or something to dampen the sound. Even if people aren’t being loud, it’s loud in here. If the kids are running amok, it’s amplified. If that’s a deal breaker, go elsewhere. If you don’t mind, then enjoy. If you’re here for the food, you made a mistake. From the child-sized biscotti to the freshly microwaved breakfast burritos, everything is edible but nothing is good. This place is unique, and it could be great. But for now, it’s good.

Saw the reviews and HAD to give it a try. I love me some coffee and it’s close by so bonus! It’s located in a strip mall, so it’s a bit hard to see. Once inside I noticed two things: 1 how cute the décor was(wall of doors, textured bar, all that jazz) and 2 how loud it was! I thought once the screaming, undisciplined kids left this would be alleviated however sadly I was wrong. I think there were 2 other tables, speaking at a reasonable volume and a low radio. Still, it was a bit much. The coffee was smooth, the biscotti unimpressive. I won’t say I won’t be back, but hot chick a latte does it better ;)

Traveled to Denver for business and checked into Copper Door Coffee Roasters. The coffee shop is tucked into a rather residential area but is a must visit when in the area. I opted first for a mug of the dark roast coffee that was fresh and brewed perfectly. Refills if hanging out in the café are just $ 1 and the second cup for me was the light roast blend of the day. The coffee is nicely roasted, has vibrant flavors and hit the spot! The menu includes some pastry options as well as breakfast sandwiches and burritos. I opted for a maple walnut scone that was delicious and paired nicely with the coffee. The coffee shop has a cool vibe to it with instrumental music playing in the background and free WiFi available for customers such as myself. Nice job Copper Door Coffee Roasters! I look forward to visiting if back in Denver sometime.

Located just ½ mile from my house, I started buying their whole beans — specifically the River Rock blend — not long after they opened. I’ve been a HUGE fan ever since. First, the beans are fresh. I know this because a) they taste like it and b) they don’t cause the«distress» of some others, if you catch my drift. Second, they offer excellent customer service. Friendly staff who isn’t above chatting, reasonably quick drink preparation, and a willingness to make my favorite bean blend on the spot because they don’t keep un-fresh bags on display for days on end. Third, the shop is clean, warm, and inviting. Now that the weather is changing and I’m back to walking in the mornings, I am making an effort to stop by more often. Plus, the bathrooms are immaculate. :-) Finally, no one in town makes a better Americano — bear in mind I say this after having had them all over Italy and Spain last year. But that’s just my opinion, of course. Maybe you should stop by and taste for yourself???

I live in Arvada but had some business around the way– So of course I Unilocal to find a coffee shop close by . The coffee shop is super cute and inviting .I’m greeted by a cute male barista and order my usual regular latte with a sugar… I don’t want whole or skim so he mixes them !! The drink was tasty — I get to chatting with the other lady barista and find out she is the owner — we chat for awhile and I must say she is genuinely a very nice person. I decide to support her small business and I bought coffee to take home… she ground it up real fine so I can make my own little café latte in the mornings… I wish this little shop was closer to my neighborhood .it’s like a little Seattle meets Roma … When I’m in this area I’ll be sure to stop by again — for now I have a bag of espresso that I can’t wait to try . Way to go small business in Colorado !!

Fun atmosphere with seating outside. The service can be slow but its a great addition to the other businesses at 9th& Jersey. They offer coffee, espresso and tea drinks with baked goods, breakfast sandwiches(gluten free as well), quiches, burritos, and doughnuts from Glazed & Confused on Sundays. The coffee is not my favorite but the lattes are good. My girlfriend enjoys the tea. As someone who believes in supporting local businesses I highly recommend people try Copper Door.
