I was kicked out of the house I’m subletting at 7am because the painters needed to get work done, so I wasn’t in the best mood when I came to visit Corvus. But a pourover and a chocolate croissant(I know, I know) was enough to set me straight for the day. I like the vibe here — with a caveat. If the lady friend on counter and the two dudes on bar weren’t super warm and lovely, I could have come away from the experience thinking that the place is a little über-cool and aloof. It’s got the whitewashed walls and European-style leaning/standing/working bars rather than conventional tables, and lots of steel and glass, and a warehouse-y feel. So I wouldn’t be surprised if a few folks came away with a slight chill. But the staff was so deeply accommodating and generous with their answers to my questions — «What’s your favorite pastry? What roast do you have for pourovers today? Where’s the water? What’s your Wifi password?» — that I felt nurtured. That’s pretty special when you’ve had a rough morning. The chocolate croissant was divine. The pourover was roasted maybe a degree or two too dark — I had the Ethiopian Finca roast, and the beautiful fruited undertones that are typical of an Ethiopian bean were masked by darker notes of chocolate, smoke, and leather. But it was a grounding start to the morning, and I had a sweet experience with the staff. I’d come back again, and I’d bring some friends next time, too.

Cool atmosphere, easy menu, great taste, and affordable price. Enough said. Outdoor seating as well as a great variety of seating options inside… Bar stool, high top table, or low top table. Nothing fancy about the menu. Quick and easy to find what you want.

How can I add something new when everyone has already said everything that could be said? I tried Corvus at the Denver flea event. Their cold brew amazed me(hint hint: try the cold brew!). Fortunately they were also on my fika passport program. Like everyone has mentioned the place has an industrial feel. There’s a couple of high tables along the windows that seat about 4 people each. Then there’s counters all around the shop that seat even more people. The most you can do on those is use a laptop, read a book or sit and chat; not much work space for books and papers and etc. There is also one big community table that seats 8. I like the hustle of the place; baristas making coffee, roasters doing their thing, the rattle of coffee beans, the sound of the steam and the mellow music. Good environment to get stuff done. If it weren’t for all the natural lighting this place would be really dim as their lights don’t do more than a lit candle. Coffee=great. Atmosphere=lovely. Seating options=plenty. Space=limited. Staff=nice, friendly, helpful.

Fantastic coffee experience. Roasting done in house. I like to come here to experiment because they take to line to walk you through the options.

Coffee prices area little more than what you’d expect at a normal coffee shop, but this ain’t yo usual coffee shop. I had some exotic tea made from coffee fruit and it was pretty darn tasty. It had a woody taste to it. The service is super friendly, and the place itself is super hipster-y and fun to take pictures at. Not too much food selection, just pastries, so don’t come hungry…

One of the best Cortado’s I’ve had in Colorado! The staff was friendly and welcoming. Helpful when I asked about their beans. They roast their own beans onsite and it was awesome to be able to watch the process!

Speaking as a Seattleite, this is the best coffee on planet earth. I don’t think I’ve visited without spending at least $ 100. If you’re satisfied with your mediocre exiatance, stay away. Otherwise, venture forth with an open mind and a taste for the finer things in life. Keep doing what you do, guys!

Really good coffee and a sweet vibe to the place. Mainly the only downside is that the seats aren’t that comfortable. Also not many outlets for laptops. It’s super sweet that they roast their own beans right there on location. Cool and hipster vibe and friendly staff. However if you are looking for grub with you coffee, try another local place — it’s only pastries here.

Nice place, but my laptop cant find their wifi and my phone will only go to facebook– ??? Other websites dont work. Sorry, but I check online to make sure a place has wifi if I need to work. I dont sit down and connect before buying something, so when I spend $ 10 buying breakfast and then I cant actually accomplish anything, it really sucks for me. I’m a grad student. The people here are always really nice, the coffee and pastries are yummy, and its bright and sunny. Seating is uncomfortable and limited, but they have a patio that’s nice on warm days. I want to keep coming back here, but I’m afraid their stars just don’t align for me.

I don’t like this place and I have tried a couple of times. It’s overpriced coffee that tastes extremely acidic. They try to brand themselves on being an upscale coffee provider, but really they just have a whole bunch of shitty coffee prepared different ways — on tap, on the rocks, neat, certain glasses that are made for booze. It’s fucking coffee. It’s not that hard to mess up. And it always taste burnt.

After trying a handful of coffee houses, I’ve found a new home. Corvus Coffee and Co. is by far the best in town, in my opinion. The staff was very helpful and answered my array of questions regarding the roasting process. My wife had homemade almond cashew soy latte decaf and for me it was the Americano. Usually I take light sweetener and cream. Not here. Black was delicious. So…if you’re looking for a great spot, give Corvus a whirl. You won’t be disappointed.

So I think Corvus is definitely one of the better coffee roasters in Denver. A lot of places choose to serve them and I’ve always felt their product was better than most. The coffee shop itself is actually pretty neat. It has a darker vibe than most other ones with a very welcoming atmosphere. One thing I really like is that they do post is how recently they received their coffee. Obviously most coffee tastes better based on how recently it was received and roaster. They had a good variety and offered plenty of espresso drinks for those type of coffee drinkers. The thing that most stood out about this place was how overly friendly there were. It was early and neither me nor my colleague had really woken up yet, but our baristas were quite chatty. I don’t really have any knock on this place, I’d recommend it.

Yummy coffee, skilled baristas, friendly atmosphere. I challenged the barista to make me a latte art dinosaur and she gave it an admirable effort. Ha! Parking can be tricky, but it’s not a big deal. Great place to chill with a book, catch up with a friend or get some work done.

Love the industrial vibe of this place. The people are friendly and the coffee is pretty amazing. You can tell that their roasting process is meticulous and definitely rises above the rest in flavor. I have had their regular coffee and an awesome home-made almond cashew milk latte. Very impressed. Will come back.

We had heard great things about Corvus, heard they do complex brewing and really knew a thing or two about good coffee. When we arrived we found it very busy, and they were very behind, We just got two regular coffees, nothin fancy. The guys behind the counter just brushed us through the system. When we went to pay our bill was $ 6.00! $ 6.00 for two coffees that was just poured out of a carafe. We drank our coffee and chilled out in the hip, sterile sort of sitting area, feeling quite cheated. The fella had said we could get a refill, so we took full advantage. Let me tell you something, Unilocalers, this is not your ordinary cup of coffee. This is the sort of coffee that gives you a serious head change: SO much caffeine. So, all surmised: If you want to try some super high quality coffee for exorbitant prices, then this is the place for you. Also, good like finding a seat, much less a seat with outlets. People were crawling all over each other in there.

Delicious coffee and espresso drinks? CHECK. Ample parking? CHECK. Friendly and knowledgeable baristas? CHECKCHECK. Offers pourovers? Check. Comfy seating? errr. no. Plentiful seating? Yes. Outdoor awesome patio? Check. Lotsa outlets/plugs? Not so much. Summary: 1) Plentiful street and private lot parking. 2) not a great space to work with your laptop and table space is kinda precious. 3) AWESOME spot to meet with a few friends for a quality cuppa joe to chat.

Corvus Coffee is a very hip and chic coffee shop. Their coffee is delicious, BUT so so strong! I like my coffee strong, don’t get me wrong, but theirs is almost too much for me. I do however get their iced americano, which is just the right intensity for me. The people who work here are all super friendly, and the whole shop had a great vibe. They also have a unique selection of coffee making devices for sale. To top it off they have a great assortment of treats, some of which are GF, which is awesome!

Wonderful location. Huge, bright open space and delicious iced coffee on a nitro tap. Customer service was impeccable. I will definitely be back when I’m on this side of town.

For a coffee shop that might be considered pricey, I saw the experience and quality of coffee is with every dime. To have a friendly cashier happily walk a coffee neophyte like myself through to sophisticated menu was a sure sign that I’d like any choice they made for me. Even providing samples to ensure I really understood each drink and wouldn’t be disappointed was thoughtful reassuring. I decided to go with the cold brew I believe named the back country or perhaps, the back door? Nevertheless, it was rich, creamy, not overly sweet, and the perfect portion. They also roast their coffee in house, which is always fun to admire while your enjoying an afternoon of work at a cool coffee shop.

Came here to relax. Was not let down. Great place to get a coffee and stand(or sit in uncomfortable stools) out on the deck. Note: Line seems to stay long, as this is a quality of quantity coffee house, so don’t come here looking to get in and out quick like Starbucks. Knowledgeable baristas, and a nice clean modern look. Tip: Cold brew nitro coffee(photo). Refreshing on a hot day.
