Denver Website Designs

I debated about writing this review and finally decided that I should share this with potential customers of Denver Website Designs. My friend and neighbor came to me because he was trying to move the website this company had created for his business. I have some experience with websites and he was looking for help. After reviewing the contract what we learned is that he didn’t actually own his website or the domain name they were using. He only owned the design to the website which basically meant he owned a few stock photos. The company sent us a file with photos and would not provide anything else. They would not provide the website code or ftp access to the site to pull it down in one piece to move. They promised him tons of new business from his website and he didn’t see any. Then when he decided to stop paying the monthly fees he realized he didn’t even own his website. Buyers beware of this company. I believe their business practices are unethical.

HORRIBLE LIES. This place offered a website and marketing services. Turns out they’re OVERPRICED AND DISHONEST. During the sale, they claimed to offer a full range of services including links, citations, social media submission and more. All a part of this large set up cost and then monthly payments for a year worth of maintenance. THEY LIED TO GET MY MONEY. Then chose to defer any responsibility about it and state how I signed their VAGUE CONTRACT holding them to nearly zero responsibility for their sales claims. When I said I’ll buy the website and move on, they claim they now WILL NOT GIVE ME MY WEBSITE DESPITE SPENDING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. It turns out their pricing is set up so that they Bill Up Front, and delay release of the site. When the site is released and you realize you got SCREWED. There is then little to no recourse as the OWNER THREATENED TO SUE FOR ANY BAD FEEDBACK. Well sir, call your lawyer. This is just the start of publicly describing my experience.
