My 12 yr. old son stopped in with cash in his pocket to buy a drink and a snack. When he got there he really needed to use the restroom. He politely asked the gentleman at the front. He said sure and told him where to go. When he got back there, there was a female employee and he politely asked her to make sure he was in the right spot. She told him he could not use it and made him feel like a criminal just for asking to use the restroom! I understand they have polices and I understand enforcing them but customer service is important to. He should not have been made to feel like he did something wrong for asking to use the restroom. They first need to make ALL employees aware of these polices. Second, they can be polite and professional about their response by just saying«Sorry, we no longer have public bathrooms» or something to that effect. Instead, my 12 year old felt he did something bad for asking to use the restroom and left the store without purchasing his goods. When I called and spoke to the manager, it was obvious, she was probably the women who was rude to him because she was not receptive to me either and basically said Yeah ok whatever!

Even though the store feels very unsafe at times, and it is dirty and cluttered, I still went here often as it was close to my work and I could pick up a few things. Never again, the final straw was this cashier named Tyler. He has to be the most under educated person I have ever met. He was asked multiple times if he took items off because he rang up too many, and he kept insisting he had. Guess what? He had not, then he throws a tantrum when shown he had not. It’s a Dollar Tree! For goodness sake, if you can screw up dollar items how do you get through life. Then he continues to be rude, goes in the office and you can actually hear him cursing. I know he is not the brightest crayon in the box, but c’mon, don’t be a cashier if you don’t have any customer service skills and act like a baby when you screw up. be a man and just fix it.

Err, don’t get me wrong. This Dollar Tree is fine with the staffs and all. The staffs are helpful and the items in this Dollar Tree are stocked up properly when we were there. BUT what makes this a little«creepy» or unsettled are the patrons who shopped in here or just being outside this Dollar Tree«loitering». This is the first time, when we enter a Dollar Tree store, we felt VERYUNSAFE. Maybe we are NOT familiar with this part of Neighborhood. Unsafe NOTIN A GOOD Way. We parked our vehichle outside the allocated parking lot, right before entering this Dollar Tree store, already like 2 strangers shouting at us, especially to Hubs. saying«BRO!»… Multiple Times asking for MONEY! Go thru the aisle by aisle inside, we just hurried to get the stuffs we needed. This recent visit was on Sunday June 15th2014. Time was at 18:10hrs ish. The Sales Associate behind the counter who handled our transaction name is Tian. This Dollar Tree is located in the Downing Super Shopping Center strip mall. The opening hours for this Dollar Tree is as following : Mondays — Saturdays: 8am to 8pm Sundays: 9pm to 8pm Even after shopping here when we came out to our parked vehicle, 2 other people were asking for more money and even one lady was soliciting. Just be warned and be careful if you intend to shop in this part of neighborhood. Dollar Tree — Store #4834 3360 Downing St. Denver, CO80205‑3919 Tel:(303)-291−9051 @127/2014
