I just had the most amazing pinto bean soup! The salad are really great, especially Asian Pear Salad. The sandwiches are also tasty but can be a little on the small side(brisket). Everyone who works here is very nice.

I have frequented this joint many many times as it is one of the most popular lunch destinations for my workplace. I finally decided to write a review that is all positive. The staff is always friendly, especially VALERIE, who rocks. She knows my wife and I by name and continues to enhance our experience. The food always comes out in less than 5 mins. You can’t beat that for a higher quality sandwich and salad place over your lunch hour. They are great with accommodating gluten intolerance for my wife. Again, I only have great things to say!

I’ve always been a fan of Udi’s and since nothing has changed except the name, I’m a fan of Etai’s as well. It does lunch and it does lunch well. With a wide range of offerings, I can always find something that I’m in the mood for and the food and service almost never disappoints. The Kale Caesar, Spicy Jalapeño Cheddar Turkey sandwich and the new Coconut Curry Chicken Salad are favorites of mine. Don’t pass up the potato salad, which always hits the spot.

Finally stopped in after seeing many happy coworkers get their lunch here. The Vegan Delight was great!

Etai’s is close to my office thus convenient. This makes it a great place to get a quick healthy salad or sandwich. What was great, is I asked to remove some stuff from my salad, and the cashier offered to have me substitute something instead. Most restaurants charge you to add stuff, but never remove cost if you remove stuff from your order. This makes me want to visit Etai’s even more because it must be an honest, and fair restaurant.

As someone who works in the area, I can attest to the serious lake of lunch places around here. I mean practically nothing. And something reasonably healthy? Don’t even think about it. That’s why Etai’s is so popular here(don’t worry guys, it’s still Udi’s, just a different name). They have pretty fresh ingredients and make up some pretty yummy sandwiches and salads. That being said, I’ve never really had anything here that truly knocked my socks off. I’ve also never had anything that I really hated, so take that for what it’s worth. It’s a reasonably quick lunch — the line is always long but it moves pretty quickly. They’re good at managing the crowds and the places is big enough that there is almost always somewhere to sit in their cafeteria-style dining area. I think the real hidden secret here is the pastries — oh the pastries! They have some incredible sweet bun thing in the morning that will make your work week.

I have work that brings me out to the area 1 – 2 times per year. I’ve always ordered the power salad(the place use to be an udis). The salad was good, however, some of the apple slices were brownish black. Maybe I just caught them on an off day but, I was disappointed.

I love this place. I’m Gluten-Free and dairy free and they accommodate your needs very well. I love the cobb salad and the gluten free blt with avocado.

Although this location feels more industrial than their cool spot in Old Town Arvada, they do crank out the food in a very timely fashion and if the salads I saw at the other tables is an indication of how they do salads, I need to get back here to check them out. The spicy jalapeño bacon turkey sandwich I had was good as was the quinoa salad side I had with it. I’ll probably be back here at some point since there aren’ta whole heck of a lot of places to eat in the neighborhood.

I have my truck in for a tune up at the Toyota dealer down the road. This place is a definite ray of sunshine when you have 2 hours and want healthy gluten-free options for lunch in this hood. I had the vietnamese veggie sandwich on gluten free bread — yum! Thank you Udi’s!

This Udi’s location is a bright spot in an area sorely lacking in quality eateries. Granted, it’s not fancy and you might leave there smelling a little like baking bread but… the food is consistently good, the bread is excellent and the dining area is fun and lively, if a little loud at times. They also have a nice outdoor patio with umbrellas and pretty plantings in the summer. As I said, nothing fancy but a great spot to stop if you’re in the area looking for something tasty for lunch. It’s also great for takeout and I’m a huge fan of their day old bread shelves — seriously cheaper than regular price and just as tasty. I’ve never had anything there that wasn’t fantastic. I love their Asian Noodle Salad. Added bonus — free wi-fi. One drawback –their hours are a little weird so check on that before you to to make sure they are open.

We got the following: turkey bacon wrap, udi-q chicken sandwich, fruit salad, sunshine salad, and cookies. We weren’t crazy about any of it.

I don’t live in Denver anymore but sometimes I wish I did so I could go to Udi’s for lunch again. Delicious. My office was just up the street from their café which was the best, and they have the market cornered on meeting catering too. Perfect sandwiches and salads — yumyumyum.

This review is for a prepared salad I bought from a «satellite vendor»; I’m placing it here because that’s the address listed on the label so I assume it came from this location. Either way, it’s likely the same recipe used at any location, but anyway… I spent $ 4.75 on a «Sunshine Feta Salad». Can ya’all say«disgusting rip»? I guess I was super hungry at the time of purchase, but upon closer inspection I realized what a disappointment awaited inside. For starters, the container wasn’t even full. I know we’re in a recession, yadda yadda, but skimping on the romaine isn’t the way to go. Especially since the bulk of the salad was shredded purple cabbage. And I like purple cabbage, but this was overkill. It was at least a 4:1 ration of cabbage to lettuce. A sprinkle of feta and a sprinkle of sunflower seeds is where the name of the salad comes from, I reckon, because it’s certainly not where the flavor came from. The bits of parsley overpowered everything else so it was basically a mouthful of cabbage with parsley popping in to say ‘hello’ and some spicy watery dressing. I hate to give such a poor review but for a vegetarian not to like a salad kind of says a lot(to me). I think maybe if they adjusted the amount of ingredients, or maybe just called it «Sunshine Feta Cabbage Clamshell [named for the container it’s in]», I’d know to pass on it next time and not be so bummed out with my purchase.

I don’t care whether the food is gluten free or not, but I do care about taste and this place is average at best…

I came here for lunch the other day. I kept seeing Udi’s catering trucks around Denver, so I figured I would come here to try it out and mix it up. Hummus was a standout this experience. This was some of the best hummus I had in Denver. Great quality and good bread on the side. For sandwich, I ordered a Jalepeno Cheddar Chicken sandwich. Honestly, the best part about the sandwich was the bread — gave the sandwich a nice kick. The rest of the sandwich was pretty good, you can tell the ingredients are good quality and also fresh. However, the sandwich was very forgettable in my opinion. That isn’t too say Udi’s isnt good. Their sandwich menu is elaborate with many good combinations. I have a tendancy to order the wrong thing, so maybe this was evidence of that. The downside is price. $ 10+ dollars for one person? A little high for what you get.

i am sorely disappointed after visiting this café. I made a visit to colorado and naturally, as being gluten intolerant, i could not wait! This was finally going to be my chance to eat at udi’s! My brother and i each ordered a sandwich; both were good. his side dish was quinoa which he said was not very good. My side dish was a salad and i liked it fine. we were still hungry so we decided to order a third sandwich to split(gluten free bread is tiny, so the sandwiches are tiny too.) While placing my order, I asked«this is gluten free, right?» she said«yes». The meal was brought to us and we took a few bites, until i realized the bread tasted like it had wheat in it. i brought it back to the counter to verify and and they said«o yeah thats got gluten…» AREYOUKIDDINGME!!! She asked if I wanted a new one and i declined, asking for my money back instead. we waited 10 minutes for a grumpy manager to nearly toss a refund receipt at us, without saying a word. WHYWOULD I WANTANOTHERONE??? being gluten intolerant means i have to check and recheck with servers about ingredients. going to a gluten free café, i expected to be well taken care of and not to worry as much as i do at a normal place if there really is gluten in the salad dressing. im lucky enough my intolerance is not so severe to debilitate me. i cant believe the staff acted so annoyed and unapologetic, when in fact i could have been someone with an extreme allergy. this was beyond careless. so disappointed…

I don’t like to go on negative rants, so I’ll keep this short and sweet. I went to Udi’s café because I was in Colorado visiting my mother, and I have Celiacs(many of you who follow me on Unilocal know I always talk about how to eat out gluten-free). I was pretty excited to have some delicious food. Short story is that when I ordered my sandwich, I asked if it was gluten free. I was told that is was. I double checked again to make sure, and I was assured it was gluten-free a second time. I ate half of the sandwich and had a sneaking suspicion that it was glutenous. I brought the sandwich back up to the counter and it was revealed that it was *SPOILERALERT* WHEATBREAD!!! WHAT!!! There was no real apology. I was made to feel awkward by the employees and the manager to wait to get my refund. They didn’t seem to understand why I even would make an issue of it. I feel like they totally dropped the ball and did nothing of real substance to correct the error. Mistakes can happen, and employees can be rude and non-sympathetic, but for an establishment that specializes in gluten free food, this is totally unacceptable. I spent the rest of my vacation sick and had to go to the doctor when I returned home for the damage this food had done to me. I would encourage you to seek other options outside of this place. Bad show.

Still love the sandwiches(and the always prompt, awesome delivery guy that delivers for our staff meetings). What I don’t love is the fact that the crab artichoke pasta salad continues to have no crab or artichoke in it. Nada. I’ve been duped again! I asked Udi’s customer service about it last month but never heard back. Other than this, all is good.

I’d eaten Udi’s bread and prepared sandwiches from my local market, and they were delicious. So when I went with a friend to have his Prius serviced at the dealer, I was excited to see the Udi’s café and bakery nearby. While we waited for the car, we enjoyed breakfast sandwiches on Udi’s excellent bread. There was good coffee and free wifi. There’s not a lot of cozy ambience, since you’re surrounded by bustling bakers preparing tons of fresh bread. But it was cool to watch them at work. The sandwiches were fresh, tasty, and made to order. Mmm…
