Gigantic Cleaners & Laundry

Quality was standard, but customer service is awful! I had to return 3 times to collect entire order. It’s not like I had a truckload of stuff to be cleaned! A simple phone call letting me know of the delay would have been appreciated.
On top of that, they broke a zipper. Yet another wait. A 2^nd (and final) time, I had to describe my items. WTH?! I don’t inventory which items I’ve dropped off! Perhaps you should if you are inclined to use their services.

Okay, I’m going to admit this here and now: I’ve never been to a dry cleaner until this week. Yep, you heard it first. I have nothing fancy enough that needs to be cleaned by a professional!
Well, until this week, that is.
I found a super lovely dress for this holiday season, but when I found it, it had just been put out on the floor and still had wrinkles galore. While I could probably live with it (because I’m just cool like that), the BF suggested I take it to the dry cleaners to have it pressed. Alright, for a dress with shimmery gold and sequins, it definitely needed professional attention.
Enter Gigantic Cleaners!
I’ve been driving past this dry cleaners for years and have always chuckled at their funny signs. Anyways, I knew this is where I’d bring my dress.
I popped by on a Monday night and stopped back Thursday evening. My dress looks amazing! For just a few bucks, Gigantic Cleaners got all of the wrinkles out and now I’ll look fantastic with a freshly pressed holiday dress.
While I only had my dressed pressed and not dry cleaned, I’ll be bringing it back here when it needs it. The ladies who helped me were super nice and explained all of the pricing. Many thanks!
Pro Tip: I saw many formal outfits and fancy dresses here, which appears to be their specialty.

Here is what I know: More than five years ago, I dropped off a suit here because it was close to my then-girlfriend’s house. Unbeknownst to me, I had left a $ 100 bill in the jacket’s breast pocket. When I came to pick up my cleaning a week or two later, they told me it had been already paid for using the money they found in my pocket, and they refunded me the difference. The then-​girlfriend is long gone, yet I have always been willing to make the cross-​town drive to have my cleaning done here. They’ve never ruined an article and never told me they could get something out that they couldn’t. I have all my tailoring done here, too. Nice, honest folks. The few times I have gone somewhere else because I was in any kind of a rush, I know I have paid more than I would have here. And as an added bonus, their sign usually at least makes me chuckle, if not outright laugh. I do my best not to take my cleaning anywhere else.

I don’t know much about this place but I walked in to see if they could wash my comforter. I then asked how much and she said $ 32 which is $ 12 more than one of their competitors.
She wasn’t mean but she definitely didn’t make me feel special as a potential new customer. I guess I’ll go back to the same place as before but I just wanted to give them a shot since they are closer to me.
