Moore Cleaners

I have been taking my blouses and my husband’s dress shirts to Moore Cleaners to have them pressed for many years. They are always ready to wear with absolutely no wrinkles. The customer service is wonderful too. Moore Cleaners does things the right way, offering good work, a good value and wonderful customer service. Thank You

Moore Cleaners S. Holly did not do a good job on dry cleaning my cotton futon cover. When I took it back and showed them that there still was clearly visible dirt on the corners (and I had mentioned that this was the only place the cover was dirty when I dropped it off) they said there was nothing more that could be done without damaging the cloth and did not offer to refund any of my money. For me, it is not worth saving money to receive low quality cleaning services.

I (used to) love these guys. Then they lost my laundry basket, overcharged me on my dry cleaning, and treated me with total disregard. Found a better, friendlier, more affordable option.

The work done was good quality. The original price quoted was very high, and when I questioned that, it was reduced by almost half. So I proceeded with the work, which was a basic stitch to repair a garment. The communication was a bit weird here, but not a huge deal. I asked when it would be done, and got instead of a date, the comment that they would call me when it was completed. That did not happen. I had to stop by and ask twice, and on the second time the work had been done. Not a huge deal, but if you tell me you are going to call, please call. I’d probably use them again for dry cleaning services, but I may have to take my alterations business elsewhere based on price. Some of that is driven by the professional presentation, which is a good thing, but sort of unnecessary in this context. I just need a stitch put in, I don’t need the garment back on a paper covered hanger, wrapped in plastic. It’s hard to fault them for being too professional, but I can’t help but feel the price is high due to this over-​use of materials. Maybe it’s what is demanded by their regular clientele.

I’d never seen nor heard of this business until I stopped in at Sojourner’s Coffee. After parking in the spot that was reserved for the dry cleaners at risk of being towed several times, I finally had the bright idea of actually taking some some items to the cleaners. Imagine that. I did bring in some items and then promptly came back to pick them up, maybe a month later. I am terrible at remembering things like dry cleaning until I’m ready to wear said item.
Anyhow, my clothes were cleaned, turnaround was pretty quick. I felt the prices were quite reasonable and I’ve always had great service. I’ve taken several things in and they even have a person that repairs knitwear, which saved me on a few sweaters that had a rip around the neck or armhole and now I can wear them again, ya! I’m very happy that I started frequenting this business.
