Empty, dirty tables. Crowded countertops with random, misplaced overstock items. Got the Denver Philly — similar to a lean cuisine microwave sandwich that cost $ 17 with two drinks. Not to mention the creepy murals on the wall… Best part was the gatorade.

Pork roll, egg & cheese on a bagel. What more could you possibly need? If you are from NJ and missing this fine breakfast meat, look no further. This place is amazing and I will continue to come back for it when I am missing home and craving a great bagel sam! Coffee was delicious too :)

4 stars for the food, service was a bit lacking though. Bagels/breakfast sandwiches are delicious. Quality ingredients and fresh baked goods. Definitely a good breakfast or lunch place.

I work on the same block as Hi Rise and I’ve visited a couple of times since relocating to LoDo. They have a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options when you’re in the mood for something quick and simple. I also love their variety and selections of Odwalla. The coffee is alright, the espresso is even better. The staff is always friendly and quick at making sure you get out in a timely fashion. The weekends can be rough if you’re in a hurry, so I’d opt elsewhere for that reason.

Very relaxed and chill atmosphere. Yes the homeless people outside will ask you for change, coffe, etc. the lox #3 bagel is delicious. They pack it with cream cheese and lox with capers. I usually get it on a garlic bagel. The prices are higher than other shops. Almost $ 9.00 for my bagel! It’s nothing to run back for but if you’re in the area wanting a bagel and don’t mind the price — this works.

This place is good for a cup of coffee and a quick breakfast. The options are nothing incredible, and a little overpriced for what you get, but if you want a fast breakfast, be sure to stop in. They serve everything from bagels to breakfast sandwiches. It’s and order and then sit type of place, and they push orders out pretty quick.

Fresh bagel sandwiches that hit the spot. Lots of options to choose from. Nothing fancy but worth a stop. We’re glad we checked it out. Solid 4 stars.

A great breakfast spot in the Ballpark area of Denver. They have delicious bagel sandwiches and baked goods. My favorite is their Italian sub. It’s got a perfect combo of Italian cold cuts, seasoning, and giardiniera. The bread is also great. Best Italian sub I have had in Denver, so far.

The sandwich is good but they really limited me on the meat — a lot of bread here. The pickle tastes really weird, not my style. Overall, I like the gold turkey sandwich — it tastes great with the homemade mayo spread on it. I’ve also had breakfast here. I really enjoy the biscuit sandwich, it tastes great with maple syrup!

Went here for takeout after looking for breakfast burritos to no avail. This was a great substitute with LOTS of choices, several with green chile. A line out the door at 9 am and that is because they have great food and serious coffee.

Average. It’s painful to come to a coffee shop that wastes so much potential. They serve Novo Coffee. That’s good! Location is nice — Larimer and 22nd. Great! Only coffee shop I’ve ever seen that serves Italian Dessert Cookies. Cool! But there is a weird vibe. You know retro is a cool thing these days. But this place is kind of retro in an awkward way. Like they kept the old crap that has no charm and left the retro flair that ADDS charm. Hard to explain. I think the old crappy cash registers they use tell a larger story about the ownership of this place. Like where’s the pride. I think I’m doing a bad job explaining myself in this review. It’s not a BAD place. It’s AVERAGE. And in this location, I just expect it would be GREAT. And it appears they have no desire to become GREAT. That’s all I have to say. Sorry for the boring review. But my experience was the same.

Best bagel and breakfast shop in Denver hands down! Great place to hit before work if you are close by. Awesome creative and unique sandwhiches. Bagels and bread are on point and so are the baked goods. Highhhhhly recommend the torta and greek breakfast sandwhiches.

I have to amend my previous review, as after visiting the restaurant in person several times I feel like it is a totally different experience. The staff is their greatest asset, always pleasant, smiling, and helpful. Very accommodating of my dog, which I greatly appreciate. We have shared a bagel here and found that it was toasted and had the perfect amount of cream cheese, leaving us to believe we just got unlucky a few times. Also, their granola and yogurt is delicious! Because of our better experiences and the amazing nature of their staff I will be coming here most weekends with the pup! I am really glad I gave them another chance and I will admit that hungover Melanie was quick to judge.

2 stars for location and ok cappuccino. The service was ok, not very friendly and efficient. I think the capp was a bit less than $ 4 so that’s ok. I didn’t try their breakfast since I only came here while waiting for my table at a nearby breakfast joint. The location is great since it is in the row of other shops and restaurants. Mehh, it’s just ok! Then again, this is not a very fair review since I only had their coffee. =(

Hi Rise is a morning staple in Denver. The quick nature of this restaurant makes it easy to get in and out quickly without a long wait. I’ve been here several times and have yet to have something I don’t thoroughly enjoy. You really can’t go wrong with any of the breakfast sandwiches especially the jalapeño, green eggs and ham, and my personal favorites the torta and the bagel gyro. Everything here you can have tailored to exactly the way you want it with no complaints. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with the intoxicating scent of delicious freshly baked bread and baked goods. This is a great place for a quick breakfast on your way to work in the morning. Allow for a few minutes for them to make your delicious breakfast but ultimately it’s fast and efficient.

I came here specifically for the cinnamon roll, which was rated one of the best in Denver and fit my criteria of a cream cheese frosting. While said cinnamon roll had great frosting — well proportioned, not too sweet, creamy — the cinnamon roll itself lacked the soft, gooey center that I have been craving for way too long. Overall the filling itself was way too sparse and the roll a touch too dry for my tastes. The search continues…

i was getting my hair did one morning and every one of the employees were noshing on some delicious-looking breakfast sandwiches. So once I procured their origin,(the sandwiches, not the employees), I decided to check it out myself. They have a neat little space in the middle of the block that’s laid out very well. The bagels are made here, and there are lot’s of options for bagel sandwiches of their own creation or you can make your own. There are also other options besides a sandwich, but I’ll let you discover this for yourself. The employees are really friendly. At the counter they have freshly baked and cut bread with butter for you to chew on while waiting for your breakfast. I have been here twice now and I’ll probably return again a few more times.
