Vince is a master at what he does. As others have mentioned, it can take a while to get your items back but the wait is worth it. We hit a couple snags in our process but I would still highly recommend him.

Vince was amazing! Dropped off a chair that belonged to my grandfather with fabric (that Vince correctly estimated over the phone for me how much fabric I needed when I described the chair WITHOUT measurements. Kind of amazing) and he returned about 3 weeks later. I would have liked it to be faster but ce la vie. He did such beautiful work for such a decent price I don’t even care! Very pleased :) thank you Vince you’re special !

Vince and House of Blessing are gems. He re-​upholstered and reinforced my great grandmothers 100-​year-​old chairs. I selected three fabrics, hemp and two velvets. He worked with me to realize my vision of a Parisian spin on these classic channel back chairs… Very custom. He did a great job at a great price in a quick timeline. I could not ask for more. Thanks, Vince! My great grandma is smiling somewhere!

Vince did an amazing job on the upholstery for our winged-​back recliner. We got the chair off of craigslist and contacted HOB and he told us how much material we needed and how much it would cost. The chair ended up looking so much better than I had expected and he even made us a pillow with the remaining material. The only downside was the length of time it took him to finish the chair. He originally said it would be 4 weeks, but he had the chair for almost 5 months. This was not a problem for us since we weren’t needing to have it back in any specific amount of time, but it be a problem for others. If you want to see pics, I’ve posted a before and after one.

Vince did a fantastic upholstery job on our old 80s rocker — he even picked it up and delivered it for us (as we had no way to get it to him without renting a truck).
He just let us know how much fabric we needed, so we sourced it ourselves and paid him for labor. He was friendly, and easy to work with.
I’ll have to snap a photo to add to my review. We will definitely be using House of Blessing for any of our other upholstery needs.

Something must have changed or they have gotten to busy for new customers. I called and sent an email with a picture of my couch. When I had not heard back in three days I called and Vince said he had received my email and would respond. Two weeks later I have still not heard

Vince did an amazing job! He handled and respected my furniture, which is over 100 years old, and gave it new life. I can’t wait for him to work on my next piece. I’m so grateful for his workmanship. Plus, he delivered two weeks early.

We had a very sturdy, good quality love seat that was bedraggled from years of abuse (4 kids, 2 dogs). We took it to Vince and he did a marvelous job of recovering it. I would recommend his service without reservation. We are ready to take 2 more pieces of furniture to him.

I called H.O.B. after reading the Unilocal reviews, and was not disappointed. Vince was wonderful to work with. I sent emails of photos of my chairs and was able to give his quote and fabric yardage before meeting in person. He quoted 12 yds of fabric, but after I found a screaming deal on 10.5 yds of a remnant, he made it work! He took our pair of 1950s mid century mod chairs and recovered them beautifully, down to the piping and buttons to match the original design perfectly. His pricing was reasonable and fair, and timing great. He quoted 30 days turn around, and was done on 25. I really appreciated his flexibility to meet on the weekends as well.

Vince did an amazing job bringing a ‘70s wingback chair into the 21st Century. He transformed it into a beautiful piece, and he even created a throw pillow with the extra fabric! Highly recommend using him — we definitely will again. One thing to note, he is no longer at the Gilpin address, but the phone # is correct.

My husband and I just moved to Denver and I wanted to recover my grandparent’s old rocking chair for the nursery. I was nervous on who to pick, but I decided to go with Vince based off of the reviews and his excellent price. He did an AMAZING job on the chair. Not only did he put new padding in the chair, but he also fixed some of the wood that was causing it to squeak. he even used the extra fabric to make a pillow at no extra cost. I highly recommend this place!

With just one review written about this place, we took our chances on having Vince re-​stuff our couch. We were not let down! Vince was very pleasant to work with, the prices are much more reasonable than any others we contacted, and he was very efficient. We had our couch cushions back within five days.
We would definitely recommend him to friends and family!

I found HOB Custom Upholstery online while looking for a place to reupholster my dining room chairs. Several places were really expensive, but this was a great deal. For a few extra dollars, Vince picked up my chair cushions from my house. They were picked up on Wednesday evening and returned on Saturday!
Not only was the service outstanding and quick, the work he did was absolutely perfect. I will definitely use them again.
