My experience today was TERRIBLE. I walked in and ordered at 12:15. There were a lot of people, so I figured I was in for a wait. After 25 minutes, I started paying attention to the people ordering. After a few of those people ordered, got their sandwiches, and left, I approached the counter to tell them they might have missed my sandwich. I was told«it’s coming.» I sat back down. After 15 more minutes, I watched more people order, get their sandwiches, and leave. I got back in line and finally got my sandwich. When I sat down to eat it, the sandwich was completely soggy and gross as if it had been made and forgotten.

I go into this shop rarely, even though I work right across the street.(I think it’s a good shop, but one does try to watch one’s calories and budget.) Today, I ordered and was waiting for me, and they guy who rang me up called me back over, saying thank you. I had no idea what he might be thanking me for. He said, «Just thank you for being nice» and gave me a high five. I hadn’t even realized I was being nice– I was just standing there letting my mind wander. Totally made my day, though.

The sandwiches are ok. They are fast and the bread they use is tasty. The reason for the 2 stars is because of the variety tray. If you call them and order a variety of sandwiches, they add mayonnaise to the sandwiches! When trying to please a number of people, this is not a good idea. They include packets of mayo in the bag, so why not just leave it off of the sandwich so that anyone who wants it can add it. It is much easier for someone to add mayo than remove it.

Visited this location today. Had a delicious sandwich. Down town is always a zoo! The street was busy! But the place was empty. Which was nice. The sandwich was delicious and the components were all fresh! No complaints!

This store is closed on Saturdays. Why would a restaurant be closed on one of the busiest days of the week? I don’t recommend Jimmy John’s in general if you’re looking for delivery. Despite their claims, I can’t even get delivery when this particular store is closed. Although there are several other Jimmy John’s stores located near me, and some are closer to me than this one, they refuse to deliver to my address. Am I in a bad part of town? No! They simply say«we each have our delivery areas» and they won’t deliver outside those areas even if no one else serves those areas. I guess these stores have never heard of customer service because they sure don’t care about making customers happy. Stick to other sub places.

Apparently this store has discovered time travel. Ordered for delivery to campus and waited 20 mins. I called to check on the status and they said it had left 5 minutes ago. I called 45 minutes later and they told me he would be heading out for delivery in 10 minutes. I only wish they set their DeLorean to the right time travel settings. I am stuck in this time dimension and this version of me is starving.

I didn’t even eat here. Wanted to order something at 6:45 on a Tuesday evening when I was hung up on twice with no answer and finally the third time I tried to call some condescending sounding clerk answered and said«thanks for calling Jimmy John’s we are closed unfortunately!» And then hung up the phone right away. I’ve seriously never experienced such rude customer service. I’ll purposefully order from a much less convenient store based on that.

This store isn’t open on weekends and the jimmy johns five blocks from this location doesn’t deliver to my address. Five blocks away and they don’t deliver?! How is a jimmy johns not open on a Saturday afternoon? Bizarre

What a retarded store!!! They are only open M-F until 5 pm and closed weekends so living in Capitol Hill you can’t even get delivery fr another store. They are losing tons of business!!!

I work in the office space above this location. Every time I have been in here my order is incorrect. Which I can understand why, the music is so loud you can’t hear the employee let alone yourself think! If a 25 yr old is saying the music is too loud… its probably too loud! The time before this situation– an employee was using a broom handle to get cups or something down from the over head storage, all the while the dirty broom bristles were whipping all across the bread stacked on the rolling rack below… Not sure how he couldn’t have noticed this was happening but that is pretty unsanitary…

So it’s the first big snowstorm of the year and I forgot to bring a lunch to work. I realize this at noon, right during the lunch rush. I ordered from Jimmy John’s thinking that my food would take forever to arrive because of those two factors. Wrong. It showed up in 12 minutes. Granted, I work only a couple of blocks away, but that is still impressive, especially considering the conditions. I’m sold.

I have always been a fan of Jimmy Johns, but this location has been exceptional. The staff is extremely friendly and went above and beyond for me. A special thanks to David!

I eat here way too much, but it’s so good. Even though it can be crowded, they live up to the hype and are FAST! But so very good. Skip the McDonald’s across the street and come here for a quick, tasty lunch.

What I had? #9 Italian Night Club(Real genoa salami, Italian capicola, smoked ham, and provolone cheese all topped with lettuce, mayo, and our homemade Italian vinaigrette) Food review: Now this is more like it. Not sure what’s up with the other Jimmy Johns on 16th Street but this sandwich came out as expected. That being that the bread came out nice and fresh(didn’t taste old-ish and crumbly). Not sure what else to say. The #9 is definitely one of my favorite Italian sub sandwich to get out of all the sub sandwich places. The balance is just right and it tastes beautiful. :-) Service? No complaints

So, the new Jimmy John’s just opened on 32nd Ave in the Highland. Their«giant club» sandwiches boast twice the meat or cheese. There were 2 pieces of skinny turkey and one piece of cheese. $ 8.80 for a wimpy ass sandwich, drink and chips. GOTOHEIDI’S ACROSSTHESTREET. Trust me. It’s a MUCH better value. Good luck staying in business with such poor quality in the Highland!

They make a solid sandwich. I almost always get the gourmet veggie club on wheat and it’s always been good, though it was better when I could get sprouts on it. Their wheat bread is especially good. They also sell day old French bread really cheap. If I were homeless, I would totally take note of this. I’ve always been disappointed that they don’t sell day old wheat bread. Alas… As a chain, they produce consistent, solid, sandwiches. Nothing fancy, but always good, thus far.

3 Stars = cheap, fast, close to my office. That about sums it up. This location is clean, they have the yummy bread(smells are free) and the staff is friendly and efficient. Not much to say, its your basic hoagie place. It won’t wow you, but it does the job!
