The food is amazing. I literally went everyday for a week just to eat the sandwich. It may be a small stand, but the food is big on flavor. I literally would walk down the street eating it and strangers would stop and ask where I got it from. I was also told that they were featured on Food Network, and they definitely deserve to be. The sandwich may be small to some, but I’m a small woman, so it was just right. For a regular cheesesteak with onions is $ 7(tax included) and $.25 for extra toppings. I had my boyfriend buy me a sandwich for lunch and gave him a bit. Sad to say I got less than half of it back.

Sounds like the Cheesesteak sandwiches are just as good as they were, when the Philadelphia Filly was located in a little storefront somewhere around 6th& Corona. Next time I’m in Denver, I’ll find you. I still have my pewter mug from the old Win/Win Forum Days. Gus Philpott, Now in Columbia, S.C.

Yum. I tried this truck out at Taste of Colorado after half a dozen people told me this was the sandwich to get. They were right. I definitely need to come try them again.

Wow in love with the flavor of this sandwich! Had a sandwich at the taste of Colorado with onions and can’t wait to come back and have other items on their menu! The bread is to die for as I have never had a cheese steak with that type of bread before. Definitely coming back for more in the future!!!

Parked right on that little cement island on 16th and Broadway is the Philadelphia Filly. I have walked by this cheese steak truck about a zillion times and every time I think, I should go there for lunch next time! Finally, after months I did just that! You can get your cheese steak any way you want(onions, mushrooms, peppers, etc…). It is basically $ 6 for a basic cheese steak plus .25 extra for all their many toppings. The sandwich itself isn’t big. In fact it is maybe a 6 inch(ish) sub size. Still, even though I think it is a little on the small side it makes up for it by packing in the flavor. The bread is a chewy soft roll and the meat is perfectly cooked with the cheese and onions oozing within the chopped slices. It is perfect street food. The couple running it are really friendly too. They make the ordering process quick and easy! Its a good stop if you need a quick fill up of meat and cheese. I won’t be passing it up again!

Been on a Chesse Steak kick lately and I made a point of making my way all the way up here from my office. Half rode there then half walked because Nike town peaked the ADD and I jumped off the bus to look at some ridiculous priced Jordan’s my daughter wants! I walked right by the stand at first because they weren’t setup, turned around and walked around it. I Jedi Mind tricked them and made the guy say do you want us to put a Chessesteak in the grill for you! Or it could be I was standing there looking at them and he intuitively knew what I wanted, because that’s his job. I operate with my debit card, and purchasing a steak here that caused a issue since they take cash, Euros and Peso’s! He said no problem, and let me walk off to a ATM, the problem being is that the dam ATMs around here charge a $ 3 service charge! Had to pull out my emergency Ben Franklin from my wallet and buy a soda at the Russell’s to get change, which took awhile because they needed to get me change from the back to break my Benjamin into smaller less significant dead presidents! So I made my way back they had my steak ready and at first I looked at the thing and was like WTF that’s a snack bite sized for my big arse! Anyways I decided not to judge the book by its cover an wait to pass judgment until I get back to my office and take my first bite! I sat at my desk and unwarpped the little aluminum wrapped sandwich, I tried to clear my mind and not be judgmental on its minimal proportions! I unwrapped the steak and noticed the melted white amercing cheese to me not a bad thing because I have had cheesteaks wit AKA Cheese Wiz and with White American! After repeating in my head good things come in small packages, I take my first bite, wow not bad, second bite damn its actually pretty good not the best I have ever had but a top notch little cheese steak from a food stand to boot! Good Find! Just wish the damn things were bigger because im a greedy gut!
