Okay, the only reason I am rating this two stars, is because I had a great initial experience here yesterday, Saturday. A friend took me here, and the bartender, an older african american gentleman, was so great. He was friendly, and personable and great at his job(the owner seemed very nice as well). I wish I could say the same for the bartender I had this afternoon, a younger white guy with glasses. After my great initial visit last night, I decided to go back this afternoon with my mother. We specifically waited in the car for happy hour to start at 3:00pm, and entered at 3:03pm. After having a couple of rounds of drinks, we decided to leave, and upon seeing that we were overcharged for the first drink, my mom inquired with the bartender about the bill. He was rude to her, and flat out insisted that the computer controls the pricing, despite the clock being off with the actual happy hour times. Even if he didn’t want to change our bill, he could have certainly handled the situation better. It is a shame that such a nice little business is willing to lose customers over a $ 2 price difference(when again, we entered at 3:03pm, and happy hour supposedly starts at 3:00pm). It really is not a question of the $ 2, but really how brusque the bartender was with my mother. I would rather go to another bar and know that I’m spending $ 10 a drink(the happy hour price here was $ 5, the regular price was $ 7), than think I am getting happy hour prices, and instead get overcharged and a rude response from the bartender(I guarantee you if the same bartender from Saturday night had been there, this situation would not have escalated to the point where I felt the need to write a negative review).

This place is great. My husband and I went during a busy Friday happy hour and the bartender took the time to suggest a few different things and tell us about specials. A bottle of decent wine was only $ 8! We will definitely be back!

I love this place. To be honest, I have missed what I considered to be Denver’s golden age of hangout bars, patio or otherwise. After the 90’s, the dozens of great, casual, hangout bars seemed to disappear faster than I could keep track. Now, Li’l Devils has me wanting to chill on their patio more than ever. They have done such a great job renovating that it feels like you are visiting a friends house. Their happy hour specials are great and the many theme parties are very nicely done. The owners are very nice as are all the staff and everyone I’ve met there. I guarantee that you will feel right at home at the football parties, luau’s and other theme nights or just to meet some friends for a beer after work.

Li’l Devils is a fantastic neighborhood bar that welcomes people from all walks of life. The staff is tremendous. The owners pay close attention to the smallest details to make sure a patron’s experience is always enjoyable. The venue has the best patio in town, with a Floridian flare. It is the perfect place to relax and gather with friends. The bar hosts a wide range of special events and activities throughout the year — which definitely are worth checking out.

We had a group of about 12 of us planning to meet here on 5⁄16 but there were signs in all the windows that said they were shut down by the US District Court for some liquor issue, so not sure if they’ll be in business after this date. We had to relocate and it wasn’t much fun trying to find another place and get the word out to everyone. One of the guys thought it was some type of Private Party but with all the notices in every window, found it hard to believe. If you’re having a private function, why not just say that instead of making up sign about a US District Court order?

Lil devil’s is a place my friend in denver recommend we meet. It is a great place to catch up and chat, had music on but was at a level you can still enjoy conversation. The place is a bit small and crowded but is well staffed so you can get a drink quick. There is also a great large patio for nice weather days. Parking is bad as typical for the neighborhood and not much eye candy. The men, and few women, are mostly in 30 to 50 age range on the Friday evening I was there. Overall this was a cozy friendly place to meet friends, prolly not a place to show up alone though.

Absolutely love this place. Being totally honest i am very good friends with the owners, but i still have never had anything bad to say about this bar. Their drink selection is incredible, the staff are very warm and friendly, they allow dogs, and you’ll always feel welcome. When they remodeled the building they spent a lot of money to do it right. I’m talking the cleanest and nicest smelling bathrooms in Denver! You definitely should go here. You will not be disappointed!

Wonderfully friendly and supportive environment. We showed up as part of a fundraising pub crawl on a saturday morning, and these guys started us off right! Frozen shots, plus very strong and tasty mimosas got us started. I love the patio, and the whole space is just very chill. The owner’s dog is a regular presence around the space, and she’s adorable, and super mellow. The owner and staff were also super mellow, taking time to sit down and chat with the people who came in as part of the pub crawl, welcoming us all. Of course, we also appreciated that this business was supportive of our cause as well!

I will not return there after being asked to leave after another customer refused to leave a service dog alone and be I got asked to leave because the service dog acted as trained which is to bark when about to have a medical situation.

I went to Li’l Devils at the recomendation of friends. I had not been there since it had been the Barker Lounge. I was very pleasantly surprised. Not only were the owners wonderful and friendly but they did a fantasic job giving the place a complete facelift. It is very elegant yet comfortable. The drinks were deliocious and we were warmly welcomed there. I was shown around and given a tour of the nice patio and when we left they even walked us back to our car since we parked across Broadway and down about a block. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to get a drink!!! I loved it.

As seems to be the general opinion from the reviews. A very friendly and nice place with excellent staff. Highly recommend it to anyone out for a pleasant time. Nice music but not overpowering. You can actually have a conversation. Great place to watch a Bronco game. Expect it to be rowdy, loud and fun.

I agree the difference in the place is noticable and in a good way too. It felt warm and welcoming, and looked sharp and clean. After a quick ID check at the door, we were on our way inside. Had a few drinks with some friends, and went on our way. Seems like a great place to socialize with a group of friends :) Good Job, we will be back :)

First time here was on a Tuesday night. We arrived a bit before 8pm, which is the end of happy hour but the beginning of the Tuesday night buy one get one free special-yes please! The bartender was great and since our timing was so close he gave me the happy hour price on my BOGO drink, superb sir! I like the patio, secluded and smoker friendly, and during the winter equipped with an outdoor heater-much appreciated. The music they play coincides with the music video on their television, but they will gladly turn on a sporting event of your choice. A large party there were enjoying the darts immensely, I hope it’s available next time I drop in. *I never visited the former name Barkers, but this place has a pleasant atmosphere

Wow — a face lift does wonders for a bar(and Goldie Hawn apparently)! What once was the home of The Barker Lounge has now become a classy little place called Li’l Devils Lounge. What strikes me most about this place is it is so relaxed and yet it looks really fancy(especially at night). The renovations by the new owners Tony and Kevin are superb! Plus, the patio is still way cool and a great place to hang out; mostly in the summer tho… A lot of familiar faces hang out here but that just makes the place more down home and comfortable. It doesn’t matter who you are you can still get a solid drink and enjoy the crazy fun that Broadway has to offer. There’s some solid music selections and usually some interesting video playing on the TVs. I was sold the second I walked in and saw the movie Overboard playing! The bathrooms are new and clean as is all the furniture. There are seats at the bar, high top tables and along the front window lives a large, comfy bench/couch for overflow customers to sit. I like that there are lots of options including patio furniture… on the patio. Too bad the juke box is gone but sometimes you can’t trust other people’s taste in music. The fresh coat of paint has done wonders for opening up the ceiling and the whole bar all together. There is no beer on tap but there are quite a few bottle/can beer choices, and that’s beyond just PBR and Bud Light. This isn’t a cheap dive bar but it’s not overly expensive either. I would say prices are average. At times the service isn’t the fastest but hey as long as there is a positive attitdue smiling back at me it’s all good in da hood. This place is a lounge so go and relax with a fancy cocktail, some intimate lighting and an easy going crowd. For sure a place to check out for a couple drinks after work or party the night away on the weekends! I’ll be back fo sho!
