Lil’s Place

It’s a dive bar. They have dollar beer during happy hour. The patrons seem like trouble, but it’s not that bad. The music is terrible.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. My husband and I were jumped at this bar. We went in to have a couple drinks, maybe play some pool. My husband bought one pitcher and didn’t even get to finish one beer before, what I assume were regulars, started talking crap to him. When my husband didn’t back down, one guy came from the side and sucker punched him. The waitress began screaming that my husband was going to go to jail, and when we attempted to leave these «regulars» had the door blocked so that we could not leave. As I tried to get out the front door, the guy who was blocking the door pushed me back in, causing me to fall. When my husband tried to help me up, the guy began hitting him… my husband got up to get us out of there and 6 other guys came and began kicking and punching my husband. I was the only person who tried to help my husband, the staff didn’t try to break it up, I don’t even think there were bouncers, because no one tried to help but me. In the process I was punched in the face by one of these guys. Finally, two other patrons helped my husband, my sister helped me and we were able to leave. If you are not a regular, then don’t go to this place as your safety is in danger.

Horrible PARKING, BAD area — My husband won’t let me go here alone. It’s very dangerous.
The bright side is that the service is so bad, there probably isn’t any danger of a DUI. :-)
Smokers hang out right in the entrance way so you have to walk through a wall of smoke to go in. Yuck!

Small local joint, good service, great Juke Box and 6 pool tables. If you want somewhere to relax with a low key atmosphere, look no further.
