BOO this location is CLOSED! The location on Hampden is closed as well. Such a bummer loved their gluten free pizza!

We just moved to this area and got a coupon in the mail so decided to check it out. Let me just start by saying I love the atmosphere of this place. It’s laid back, clean and relaxing. Today we came across two guys, who I didn’t grab their names… but they were fast friendly and knowledgeable. They seemed to really enjoy working there. I am on this new«gluten free» thing, unfortunately for health reasons. And they offer the option for gluten free crust ANDUNLIMITEDTOPPINGS. My fiancé got a regular pizza. They have alcohol which is always a plus. Guy running the cash register gave us a coupon to come back… and trust me. we will be!!!

These guys do personal pizzas right for a great price. We love coming here with friends. We usually all get something different and share from our pizzas. Makes it pretty fun to try different styles: Their rewards program is pretty good and since the pizzas are thin crust, they’ll come out in a jiffy. Come hungry and enjoy!

I was excited to have a good pizza place by my new place. Tried it the other night and it was incredible! I ordered the margarita pizza. Great flavor, sauce was great and they put loads of fresh mozzarella. Staff was so nice and helpful with suggestions! I went back this evening and was so disappointed. It looked as though they were finishing up a catering order. The staff was running through the restaurant and very frazzled. There were at least 5 dirty tables around the place that needed to be cleaned. When I walked up to the counter the guy was more than annoyed I was there. After rushing me through the line, I asked if he could please make my pizza well done. He huffed and said yep. The pizza was undercooked and the dough still gooey when he handed it to me. I believe the experience could have been completely different if the staff would have taken time to take care of their customers as well as their catering order.

Outstanding value and fresh options. Had a fantastic arugula salad and ½ BBQ Pizza for under $ 10. Awesome

Pleasantly surprised. The ingredients were tasty and fresh, the dough was good, and the price wasn’t too bad. Even the staff was great: polite, helpful, prompt. Not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but very good!

Fast, fresh and delicious without the soggy crust of other instant pizza places(I’m looking at you, Pizzeria Locale). It’s my third time here and always try to stop in when I’m in the neighborhood. Today’s concoction: red sauce, *fresh* mozzarella, ham, olives, and artichoke, topped with arugula. The music is loud, alternative and annoying today, but the food is so good that I barely noticed ;)

Pizza pizza pizza. What do you like on your pizza? I love all kinds of things on my pizza. I had never been to Live Basil, but I had heard their food was pretty good. My friend refers to it as the Subway of pizza. You walk down the line and build your pizza how you want it. I picked the Farmers Market pizza. It comes with red sauce, Italian cheese blend, peppers, mushrooms, grape tomatoes, arugula, and live basil. I actually cannot stand mushrooms, so I substituted them with fresh garlic. I love garlic so much. I feel like you can never get enough of it. I watched them make my pizza with wide eyes. I was so excited to try it. After the pizza was cooked, they topped it with arugula and basil. ALOT of arugula and basil. In my opinion, way too much. The lady at the register didn’t seem to know what she was doing, so I stood there for roughly 15 minutes while my pizza got cold. Finally someone else came over and took over ringing up the 2 people in front of me. This finally sped things up a bit. I sat down and took my first bite of the salad. I mean, pizza. I thought I was eating a salad. It was overwhelming. I had to pull 70% of the arugula and basil off in order to actually taste the pizza. After that, it was amazing. Great flavor. I am glad I went with the fresh garlic. Next time I go, I will ask them to hold the arugula.

What an amazing place! The staff is SO helpful, answering every question I had(and I had more than a few) with obvious expertise, and recommending truly delicious combinations. I’ve only had the vegan pizzas, and though the cheese does melt wonderfully, I would also enjoy a few more options, maybe another type of vegan cheese, or a vegan dessert option. Either way, they have earned themselves a return customer.

Live Basil Pizza hits the mark for fresh individual pizzas in under 10 minutes. Service is friendly, and I get to watch as my pizza is created one ingredient at a time down the assembly line and then cooked right before my eyes in a wood fire oven. The crust is crispy and slightly dark on the edges which is the way all crust should be. All of the pizza varieties are delicious as well as the salads and they now appear to be doing a pizza of the day offering(quite tasty). I may be late to the party but I’ve just learned that I can split my pizza and do one pizza with two varieties. Slap me silly, this just made my day. Two pizzas for the price of one, the secret’s out! For quick serve pizza, Live Basil Pizza is the place to be.

Very tasty pizza, always very fresh tasting and crispy crust, a sensational delight. The salads are also very fresh. Overall pricing is average but the half and half lunch special is a good deal if you’re not too hungry. The menu keeps changing as expected for a new chain. Today I saw the creator-chefs in this restaurant experimenting with new menu items! The employees are nice and give good service — a rarity at casual dining or any restaurant in Denver. My one complaint is that there isn’t enough protein on the pizza. Pizza tents to be heaviest on fat, then carbs, and then light on protein. Live Basil improves on this by cutting back on the usual glaciers of cheese, but still ends up with a carb-heavy product that doesn’t match an active Colorado lifestyle. Adding standard menu items with more meat for example increasing chicken portion sizes or adding some wonderful local Continental sausage would help this out. If I had to choose between Live Basil and the similar Chipotle product at Pizzeria Locale, I’d pick Live Basil every time. They have a lot more flavor and the food arrives faster.

Value: I’d say that this place is NOT«too expensive» for what you’re getting. Cheaper and way tastier than Pizza Hut(which is next door), ect. And this is coming from a person that gets paid $ 9/hr. Taste: It’s freakin delicious! Why eat here? It’s like a subway or Chipotle style place; you choose as many of the fresh ingredients you want(create your own) or you can try the signature pizzas. Oh and they bake in a brick oven! My fiancé and I have been ordering the«Create Your Own» pizza; it’s the perfect size for the two of us to share and it costs $ 8.45 before tax I think. Our Fave: Pesto sauce, vegan cheese($ 2 extra), pineapple, spinach, mushrooms, marinated peppers, corn, live basil, olive oil, and parmesan on top! Omg yum.

Live Basil has become my go-to local pizza joint when the craving strikes. Made to-order personal-sized pizzas with fresh ingredients within minutes! Every single pizza that I’ve had here has been superb. My current favorite is the Rocky Mountain. Think bacon and green chiles. Oh my gosh, yum! The staff here are friendly and the service is awesome. But most importantly, you get a great pizza for your money.

I have to admit I am becoming a Live Basil Pizza junky — just give me one of their Natural Chicken Pesto pizzas with basil and I am in my happy place. I have been to several locations but this one has become my go to since it is the closest to my abode.

Finally got a chance to try this place. I see this restaurant pop up all over town but I don’t eat pizza too often so it was great to finally try a slice. We got the marg with chicken. Simple, not greasy, and tasty! I recommend as the healthier choice to pizza for sure. I loved the mozzerella cheese melted on the pizza!

I had a coupon for this place and I’m do glad I tried it. Organic, fresh pizza in 5 mins. I ordered the margherita and it’s sinfully delicious. I will return for sure. I’m actually ordering another to take home for dinner.

Get you FREE pizza today, with beverage at all locations… you can create your own or choose from of their specialty pizzas! Again, free today 5−8−14. So I ate the most delicious white pizza with mushrooms and lots of cheese and itailan sausage. perfect size for one or two people. Such a great promotion. The folks at the location I visited were organized and smiling. They probably made hundreds as there was a short line when I got there with my father. Dad had a tradition red sauce sausage and pepperoni pizza. We will be back!
