Love this place. Thin fast baked pizza worthy of Don Antonio’s in NY. No kidding. Had a BALT that was dynamite. Lots of greens and I think some basil in there. Calories listed on every item and summed up on your check. Good and healthy food.

One of my newer go-to spots in Cherry creek. I always thought the airport version of this place was very good for airport food, but hadn’t given thought to visiting the location in Denver. Once I went, I was hooked by the simple but inspiring concoctions. I also love the ability to substitute any ingredient and add others. They don’t have a huge menu but the choices are diverse and flexible enough that everyone will love something. They also have a rotating seasonal salad and sandwich. Bonus – they give a percentage off if you come back in the same week. My only feedback would be, it would be great if they had smoothies too :-)

A bit pricey but that’s to be expected with the type of food being served and the«type» of people. I actually craved a salad and the superfood with chicken was spot on. Delicious and I left full, did my expect that from a salad

I’ve really liked this place since I first discovered it, and often stop in for lunch when I’m out running errands on my day off. However, something is changing, and not for the better. The last few times I’ve been in, there’s been no one at the register and I’ve had to wait to be waited on. On this occasion, I waited just a minute or so, but then was greetings by a sour manager who was just going through the motions. And then, I got my half order of pizza, and got the impression they were trying to save money by skimping on the toppings. It’s heading in a sad direction.

Really good eggplant, goat cheese sandwich. Fast service. Made fresh. Friendly service. Annddd… they list the calories, fat, carbs and protein in the foods you bought on your receipt. Pretty cool. I’ll be back.

I am obsessed with this place. I wish I could eat here every day. The menu is full of healthy, delicious, and fun food items that never get old! I LOVE to build my own salad. Their veggie options are ridiculous. They have roasted broccoli, caramelized onions, sliced green apple… have mercy give them ALL to me! The size of the entrée salad is HUGE and so filling. I can eat large amounts of salad so when I am spending 12 bucks on a salad(I add grilled chicken) I want to be full! PS the agave herb dressing is HEAVENLY! Thank you Modern Market for always making my tummy happy!

5 stars no doubt. A nutrient breakdown on your meal? Yep! Southwest Tofu Scramble. At last a place and meal for a vegetarian that didn’t compromise on size, taste and variety. Tasty. Made my day. Gave he cashier a tip to give to the cook that prepared my meal. As he was trying to give it to the cook the manager in the kitchen instructed the cashier to give it back. Of course by then I was walking a way letting them figure that one out. Ha ha has! I’ll be checking to see where they are located and make sure if my travels put me near one, I’m in. Peace.

Do not judge a restaurant by its airport counterpart. Do not judge a restaurant by its airport counterpart. I need this to be my new mantra. I was always a touch underwhelmed by DIA’s Modern Market. I found it a bit overpriced for what I received though it was filling. On the other hand, Glendale’s Modern Market is impressive. What do I choose? The seasonal pizza, a sandwich, a salad? I don’t know! We went with a green pesto veggie pizza and a tender belly sandwich. Both dishes were quite delicious. The true test came when we ate them cold later. Still good and that sandwich! Knocked my socks off. Oh and since our food was taking a longer time, we received a $ 5 off card. Thanks!

Always a positive experience at mod market. I love this location. They are always so nice, and helpful! The employees are always smiling and up beat! The food is always amazing, and the employees always go above and beyond to be helpful. They offer to take your plates when you’re done– and refill your drinks — even though it is self serve. They are always willing to make any substitutions, and can make any meat meal vegetarian(almost!)

Went here 2x in the last few weeks. No other reason than that it was really convenient both times. I mean in the same parking lot of where I was convenient. That being said, it was really delicious both times! First time I had the Flat Iron Steak Salad & Green Chicken Chili and the next time I had the Bacon Corn Pizza. Both were awesome. My husband likes that they serve beer, although he is equally excited about the variety of Boylan’s fountain sodas that they offer. I love that they put all of the nutritional info on your receipt. And while there are many healthy options here, not everything is lo-cal so be sure to look.

I come to this Modmarket quite a bit. It is fairly close to my work and I find that as long as I get there by 11:20AM I can always get a seat. Getting there after 11:30AM can be a bit hit or miss when it comes to being able to purchase lunch in a timely fashion. Modmarket is popular, and it is easy to see why. Modmarket consistently does excellent salads. Sure, they make nice sandwiches, and decent soup, and the pizzas have their moments. But, for me, the salads are definitely the best thing on the menu here. Of these, I have tried several, but I always come back to the Flat Iron steak salad and the Farmer’s salad with chicken. These are both packed with flavor, very fresh, and the full-size is a good amount of food for lunch. I always appreciate the fact that you can get 10% off your order, with Unilocal check in. On nice days, I really enjoy sitting in the few seats outside and catching a bit of sun. The service here tends to be good from the standpoint of putting out your food. If there was one area upon which they could improve, it would have to do with busing your own table. I am not opposed to carrying my tray of dishes to the back. However, the process has become overly complicated and annoying. The area to drop things off is a chokepoint in the flow to rear seating opposite the soda machine. And, sorting everything into a separate area(trays here, silverware there, plates and bowls here, glasses here, trash there, recyclables here, etc.) slows the whole process down and is almost impossible to do if there is more than one person trying to do it at the same time and/or people are trying to get by. I think if one dedicated employee had responsibility for busing the tables it would be much faster and efficient for both the customers and the restaurant itself

The best food I’ve had in a very long time. Mod market is fresh and exciting, everything is made fresh and tastes great. Pulling up in an unassuming strip plaza, modmarket goes above and beyond expectations. Whether it’s a salad, steak, or anything you get, you can’t go wrong at modmarket.

I’m a huge fan of Modmarket since I moved to Denver about a year ago. Not only because I’m a dietitian and a foodie but the food there is inarguably the best as far as healthy food goes! It’s nice that they give you a discount towards your next purchase to give you more incentive to come back. I also like the fact that you see the nutrition breakdown of your meal. Information is power when you’re watching what you eat. I ordered the crimini kale pizza for takeout and it turned out to be both healthy and tasty. With that being said, I liked the décor in the 16th street location much better. You can’t go wrong with Modmarket if you’re into eating fresh and wholesome food like me.

I usually love Modmarket and really look forward to my meals here, so it really pains me to write this review, but I don’t think I will ever return to this location. Here’s why: My mother, sister, and I finally got to spend some quality time together after several months and decided to stop by Modmarket today to eat some delicious, hot, crispy, yet fluffy pizza. It was 9:05pm when we walked in, and we felt a little bad ordering so late(because they close at 9:30pm). The young lady at register seemed irritable and wasn’t very friendly, but we understood it was late, so she could have been a little tired — totally, yeah, we get it. It doesn’t change the fact that we were starving. So, we each vowed to eat really quickly to get out before 9:30pm. Though we felt bad, we were still really excited to eat our two pizzas because we love Modmarket. I mean, who wouldn’t be excited for a whole BBQ Chicken pizza and Crimini Kale pizza? Right? Right. The food came out in about 15 minutes and us, excited little ladies, dug in to get some hot pizza in our bellies. We each grabbed for a piece, and all of the toppings fell off because the pizza was soggy — not crisp — soggy. Starving, we each scarfed down a slice and began noticing a burnt taste. We turned over the pizzas and, lo and behold, the two pizzas were burnt. Not a cute little burnt, but black all across the bottom. My poor mother was so hungry she ate another piece, but was really upset. We didn’t think that it was right for our pizzas to be terribly burnt, so we told the next employee we saw, who was the tired young lady we saw at the register.(We’ll keep her name private for confidentiality.) My mother(who doesn’t speak much English) asked to take a look at the pizza, and what did this young lady say? «The pizzas aren’t burnt. That’s how they’re supposed to be.» That’s how they’re supposed to be?! Appalled, I stepped in and begged to differ. This young lady’s tone of voice changed when I began speaking. I let her know that I have been to Modmarket countless times and never has the pizza ever been burnt, or had a burnt taste. The youngin’ then said, «Oh, I don’t make the pizzas. You should tell the other people who make the pizzas.» Nice. Pushing the blame over to others. Whaaat?! No apologies for feeding us carcinogens?! Okay, we get it. We walked in 25 minutes before closing and ordered two whole pizzas. But, we also paid close to $ 20 for two burnt pizzas we ended up throwing out(before 9:30pm, might I add). We usually try to be low-key customers who don’t cause trouble, or make a fuss. However, if our young helper was a bit more apologetic(or caring, for that matter) and didn’t treat my mom differently because she couldn’t speak English, my mother, sister and I wouldn’t be so upset and disappointed. I wish I could say I would be back, but this whole experience threw us over the edge and really made us leave with a bad taste in our mouth(literally). We really hope the best for this location and hope that no one else experiences what we did. In short, the service and attitude at this location could use a bit more discipline and sincerity. What a disappointing night! :’(

This place is delightful. It’s walking distance from my apartment, and I take full advantage of that. So far all I have had is their pizzas, and every time I go back I mean to get something different… but their pizzas are just that good! They also offer a little nutritional information on the menu which is a big + for me! I’ve also gotten the side salad, which is good… but all of their salads sound delicious! On top of the pizzas, Modmarket offers a welcoming, bright environment where the music isn’t too loud, and there is a lot of room for people to eat! They have a great patio with umbrellas and some afternoon shade!

Second time into Mod Market and I was very disappointed in the service & experience. The food is great, healthy and it’s convenient. HOWEVER I had a lunch with a friend here recently. We ordered about 12:15, got our drinks and took a seat. I order a half super food salad and half kale crimini pizza, my friend had a chicken melt and chips. About 12:40 I was wondering where our food was. It’s a fast casual restaurant. It shouldn’t take more than 15. I glanced up at the counter(I was sitting with my back to the counter) and saw what looked like our food. I sat and waited another 5 minutes before I got up to check on our order. The lady behind the counter was rude as soon as I walked up. «Is that the super food salad & crimini pizza?» I asked«Our buzzer hasn’t gone off but I think that is mine.» «We haven’t called you» The lady began «Well It’s been sitting up here for a while and we ordered a long time ago.» I hand her my Receipt. «oh that is you» She said rudely«Sorry we forgot to call you» … So that’s it. My food and my friends food was cold and no offer to heat it back up or anything after it had been sitting out for at least 10 minutes under very powerful AC??? I like the food. I don’t like the food when it’s cold…

Out of all the various fast casual restaurants that have been popping up around town lately, Modmarket is consistently my go-to stop for fresh and healthy meal choices. The local chain’s transparency in the nutritional content of their menu is what draws me back every single time(the cool coupon you get at the bottom of your receipt for your next visit doesn’t hurt either). The food is reasonably priced at around $ 10 and is made fresh to order. The salads and sandwiches have been exceptional every time I’ve been in, showing that healthy can also definitely be tasty. The portions are just perfect for a full stomach but not to the point where you are overstuffed and can hardly walk. The modern feel plus the friendly people adds a liveliness to the whole space and has made my experiences here a happy one.

My wife and I have been going to this place for a healthy bite to eat when we’re pressed for time and can’t make dinner. Typically we will get take out and eat it at home while we spend time with our kid. Lately they have been dropping the ball on takeout orders. The first time they messed up was when they put a piece of chicken on my wife’s salad(she’s vegetarian) and we didn’t find out till we got home. I called them up, they went through great lengths to correct this wrong and I was fine with letting this slide. When I go back the same night to get the right dish, I check the food before I leave and they messed up Again! Fortunately I was still there and they fixed it. Scenarios like this one have occurred on two more occasions, but I caught their error at the restaurant before I left. They either forgot to put the protein on the salad or gave me the wrong dressing. Another part that is annoying about this place is they will charge me for substituting tofu for chicken on their Thai Coconut salad. The takeaway from my experience that I would like to leave to people reading this review is to check your takeout orders before you head home.

Great concept — Simple menu, fresh ingredients. The salads that passed by our table were huge and looked delicious, and made me wish I’d seen them before I ordered. I ordered the Pepe pizza(basic cheese and pepperoni) and wasn’t terribly impressed. A western New Yorker, I have high pizza standards, and this was a bit too thin and while crispy around the edges, the dough in the center was unfortunately saturated and soggy.

A friend and I met up for lunch here. I had a Chinook Book coupon so we got two for one salads. I got the wintergreen salad and my friend had one with steak(I forgot the name). My salad was totally fabulous with loads of tasty flavors. The goat cheese was fantastic combined with the walnuts and apple. Really good. My friends salad had some totally mushy tomato slices that even across the table looked totally unappetizing. The space was clean and bustling with activity. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the cookie sheet trays that our salads were served on. It didn’t look hip and cool, it looked like a cookie sheet which had my plate sliding around. Glad I didn’t drop it! This is a great place for a quick healthy lunch.
