This place is filled with ghetto thugs who are trying to start fights and cause trouble. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs.

Looked like a great rooftop spot after a Rockies game and it was. great atmosphere and excellent service. The food was, alright… however, the drinks sucked! When you advertise a drink such as a strawberry/peach margarita, I want to taste the strawberry, the peach AND the tequila. What I received was a watered down version at best. Absolutely NO peach flavor at all and I don’t think much tequila or at least not enough to be considered a cocktail. I think my mojito was made with margarita mix muddled with mint and a splash of rum. Sorry Lodos, was hoping for more in the way of cocktails.

As a chef who works downtown, What can I say about this place… There location is awesome, they have a rooftop bar… However getting kicked out of line by bouncers telling you it’s because you have a neck tattoo so you can’t come in… It’s the most idiotic thing I’ve heard. Wanted to yell at the bouncers for it but I know it’s not them. That kind of ridiculous comes from higher up the ladder. People fully sleeved out can walk right in but a small neck tattoo. forget that shit. After waiting 30 minutes in line to get in, than being picked out of the whole crowd and being told your not good enough to get in. F#ck you and f#ck that place. I will do nothing but bash that place to everyone I meet.

The worst experience ever. We walk in and order like 50 bucks in drinks. The bar tender chick was so rude and totally dirty looking my friend who ordered the drinks. He even gave her a fat tip in an attempt to smooth it over. Before we could drink our drinks, 4 security guards come over and tell us to leave. We’ve never been kicked out of any bar before. This was all the work of the bratty bartender, she collected our money and kicked us out. Small chick with long hair and messed up teeth. I won’t ever come back to Lodos. What a waste of money!

I have — and I qualify here to try to preemptively salvage my own credibility as a reviewer — actually been here, *ACCIDENTALLY*, during the day, with my partner, looking for a beer and a snack after a long walk. we sat at the bar and were promptly and professionally completely ignored for 20 minutes… and that was just for starters. food was about what you’d expect from bar food, fried in what tasted like week-old oil. overpriced drinks served badly and with a healthy helping of ‘tude. and there was, throughout, a distinct and dismaying pervasive odor of urine. EVERYWHERE. all in all about what you’d expect from a POS kiddie bar where they apparently kill people for the horrible crime of being assaulted by their other patrons.

Fun place to watch a game. We need places like this in Seattle! I guess there’s no land for that here. On our Denver visit, we stopped by Lodo’s and a few other 3 – 4 story establishments with a rooftop and plenty of seating and TVs. We would love to come again!

Went for an afternoon lunch and show. Jeff was our server, what a great experience. He helped us thru the menu. The food was very good. Jeff normal works the bar, but it was early and he took really good care of us. Thanks Jeff will be back.

When here with the kids after the Broncos Superbowl parade with the kids and sat on the rooftop. The bartender Heather completely helped me and the kids out and even though the staff was super busy they when out of their way to accommodate the kids and myself. The G.M. and one of the owners stopped by to make sure we were sorted. Top notched staff and great food.

I actually haven’t eaten anything they have there, I always just go there on the weekend nights! Its an awesome time with great music and people on the roof top. Decent drink prices and it seems to always be packed(which must mean its good!). The view is superb and I always recommend taking people there for a night out on the town when friends and family visit.

A hole in my friends beer cup and all they did was put a cup underneath so it could pour out in the second cup. Worse service ever. Avoid.

booooooooooooooooooooooooo so this is why this place sucks 1. horrible service: the bar tender was also our waiter because there was only a few people in the entire place and we were the only table getting food. he acted as if he was soooo upset that we would ask for his beer recommendation and that he had to keep coming back from the bar. 2. the food was bar food but nothing surprising there i would not be going back unless someone paid for my entire meal and drinks

I only come to Lodo’s to watch my Broncos and my Rams but I always have a good time here. The food is actually really good and I think it’s better than most bar food. They always have drink specials which is appreciated. I think the TV set up is much better than the surrounding bars and there isn’t really a bad seat in the house! I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because sometimes service is slow, like this past Saturday to watch the RMS. But, this place was seriously full of us Ram Fans so maybe it was just an off night. Note: this is, first and foremost, a Buffalo Bills bar! Found that out the hard way one time. If you would’ve asked me I would’ve guessed there were about four Bills fan in the entire state but I was proved wrong when I saw how packed it got. Check the schedule on Sundays to make sure they will be airing the game you want to watch! I said I’m proud! To be! A CSU Ram!

So when I go to a bar, I don’t really expect amazing customer service. All I really want is for my order to be taken in a timely manner, to get my drink and to pay. Bartender doesn’t have to be supervise, I really just want to get my drink. I don’t think that is too much to ask for. So I come here and it’s pretty slow(Sunday Night). Took quite a while for the bartender to acknowledge us and I think that only happened after someone in my party summoned her. The three of us placed our drink orders and a few minutes later we got them. Except she didn’t tell us which drink was which so we kind of had to smell the shots to figure out which one was which. So one of my party member gets out his card to pay for his and his girlfriends drinks and before I can even give the bartender money for my drink she leave with his credit card. Doesn’t ask if he’s wants ALL the drinks on the card, which I feel like should be a standard question to ask at a bar since most times people pay separately. So we get her tome come back before she can ring us out and I give her a $ 20 for what I though was a $ 3 drink special. She says it will be $ 6.50 for yours. I thought that was weird but figured I just read the menu wrong or got the specials mixed up. So she goes to the register then comes back, gives me $ 3 in change and my friend a receipt for $ 6.50. So I told her I was just paying for my own shot not the other four drinks, since she mixed up our orders. She gives us this supper annoyed look and leaves to get her manager to help her fix the mistake. After what seemed like forever she came back with the correct bills, and oh turns out my drink was only $ 3 so she almost double charged me! She gave my friend his two receipts, the original canceled transaction and the correct receipt. She made some snide comment about how we were«yelling numbers at her» and that is why she made the mistake. We literally never yelled once. We just called her over to try and fix the problem. She never apologized and the manager who helped her never came over to acknowledge the situation. Seriously bad customer service. I’ve never not tipped before but she was so rude I decided not to tip. Really unfortunate because the rooftop was really nice and there were lots of cool games, but I don’t stand for being accused of things I do not do. Also I don’t like getting attitude for people who are ATWORK! Like if you can’t handle simple math and easy tasks don’t be a bartender! It’s in your job description so seriously stop making excuses.

Technically 3.5 stars, but rounding up for good service. Stopped in for Happy Hour and a quick bite before a Rockies game the other day. At first was WAY skeptical when I pulled up Unilocal after ordering a beer, but I see that this place is a hybrid«Bar & Grill» slash«Night Club»…heads up, I’d change the name at night. The bad reviews here are clearly from upset club-goers, as all the good reviews(rightly) state the food and drink is pretty spot on. Not the best I’ve ever had, but friendly service. They even served our burger already cut in half, split onto two plates for us(we shared one and some apps). 2-for-1 drinks during HH was nice, basically works out to $ 2 for a draft(ie Coors light)…much better than the $ 7 price tag we paid a bit later at the game ;) All in all, don’t let the bad reviews scare you– the food and drink are good, not a big«clubber» so can’t(and won’t) comment on the after hours action.

I was really happy with this place. I came here for my birthday and the manager gave me 5 free drink tickets, a $ 10 gift card for the place, and candy in a bad. The music was fun, upbeat dance music. People were there just having a good time, no drama at all. The dance area is on the roof deck with a cool view of Coors Field and downtown.

Came here on the 3rd to see a band play. That was the first time I’ve ever been at this bar during the day. Definitely a better experience than the frat scene at night. They have lots of umbrella seating and misters on the patio for those sunny, hot days. Great 2-for-1 specials and our server was really nice and social. I was surprised to find out that they serve food here. I tried the Bruschetta and it was fantastic!

Thank you for being opened on a random Wednesday when everything else on that street was closed. Nevertheless it was still very dead inside. The drinks were pretty cheap(only $ 3) and I had fun playing beer pong with strangers. It’s pretty cool that there was a live DJ even on a Wednesday night.

I really only go to Lodo’s to watch games because it’s the official Michigan bar in Denver. Each time I’ve been here, the service wasn’t that great, but since it gets so crowded that’s hard to avoid. The beers are way overpriced, even on their«specials» menu… although I’m pretty sure they jack up the prices for game days($ 4? I mean, come on!). The food is standard bar food, but what’s most disappointing is the lack of true Michigan foods on their named«Michigan menu». They changed the names around but that’s about it. One item was chili on a burger, then right below it was a hot dog. Why not put the chili on the hotdog(i.e. the iconic Coney Dog) if you’re trying to be a make a Michigan food menu. I do appreciate the amount of TVs and the sound system for the games. I would definitely not come here would I not be celebrating with the UMich Alumni Club of Denver.
