Went here on a Friday night, it was packed but they seated us before we finished our first beer. The waitress was really friendly and so was the hostess. The beer was really good, I recommend the White Ale. The pizza was alright, it wasn’t the best I’ve had but it was unique along with the rest of the menu.

I dig me some Lowdown. The beers are good, and I feel like there’s something new to try on every visit. They also seem to always have a crooked stave on draft, and I absolutely love sours. Every item on the menu is basically a pun, which kept my boyfriend and I entertained for while. We were there to watch football and do some drinking, so food wasn’t the main event, but we did split the margherita pizza. The pizza was very flavorful, and the crust was the perfect thickness for me. Our server was super attentive, and kept us stocked with drinks throughout the game. It was a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Initially, I gave 3 stars, but changed to 4 because our server was outstanding. Very pleasant, helpful and quick.(I believe his name was Dan!!!) We went for a late night dinner, and was happy to see the menu had much more then your typical bar food.(sadly, only the apps and pizza were available when we visited.). None the less, I was able to order a pizza with goat cheese and prosciutto and it was delicious! A little pricey, but I would come back to try out the brews they carry!

The food here is delish, and our waiter was perfect! He was so patient with our big table and 2 small kids, and made sure our orders came quickly. Great service!

So, rule of thumb of any restaurant… go where the crowd is. We barely found a seat, but there’s reason in crowdsourcing. This brewpub featured not only excellent beers, but also excellent food. Everything was delicious, staff was attentive, and it was a great experience over all.

Stopped in for the 2nd time last night with my sisters and cousin for a little impromptu get together. The space is nice with plenty of seating. There is really nothing to break up the noise though, so it gets very loud when it’s a full house and it can be difficult to hear your party. I need to add a disclaimer to say, I am not a beer drinker. My sisters love their brews and had good things to say about the selection and their orders. My cousin really enjoyed the sour beer in particular. The food. We ordered the hummus plate to share. Meh. I love hummus, I consider it to be a food group all on it’s own. The«Big plate» offered 2 kinds of hummus with a selection of crudités. The hummus choices had too rough of a texture like it wasn’t blended long enough and was very bland. Generous portions, but very bland. There were 4 of us and we didn’t finish it because it just wan’t that good. I ordered the Vaca Sagrada which is an Indian dish of spiced veggies stuffed into a tortilla served with mixed greens and quinoa. I was immediately disappointed when it arrived. It sounds like a substantial dish, but it was a fairly small portion of the«stuffed tortilla» and the greens & quinoa were lackluster. Almost no dressing, very little quinoa. Booo. I was sad. I think it can be difficult for some places to really pull off vegetarian or vegan offerings well and sadly this was the case here. I do appreciate the effort for inclusion, but flavors were lacking. My sisters are not vegetarians and had regular sandwiches(chicken parm & the Havana) which they both raved about. So for them, this place was a big win! For me, not so much.

Not your typical bar food. this place has an awesome variety of great food. I highly suggest the Devils on horseback and Brussels sprouts. The sandwiches are all great and the pizzas are amazing. they have a good selection of beers to try as well. This place is very large, and the setup is nice. Servers are friendly. It’s like a bar, with upscale food. Instead of your typical hamburgers and fries you get some great dishes that you would expect to find at a more upscale restaurant, not the local brewery.

I went to this little gem the other evening, and had a good time. They’ve got some pretty good beer, I was a fan of the Oatmeal Stout, as well as tasty food. When I came in and saw the menu, it took everything in me not to laugh. We ordered just an appetizer, the«You’re F#@king Welcome» which was a beer cheese dip with bread, broccoli and some apples. The bread was fresh and warm and tasted delicious smothered in their cheese dip. All of their menu items have very funny and clever names, and I liked the décor as well. They had a chartreuse plate that sounded really good, but I was full after the cheese dip and didn’t have a chance to order it. My oatmeal stout was very tasty and had a nice sweetness to it. My girlfriend got the«Sinister» which had some fantastic fruit and floral tastes to it. I’ll have to come back again to try some more of their beer and food.

Best brewery on cap hill. Service is great, nice and fun. The place is great in the summer if you have a dog. They allow them On their patio.

I can appreciate a brewery that also serves a full menu of food, but I think they might benefit from picking one or the other and doing that one thing expertly. The space is pretty cool and would actually be a good place for a larger group to eat and drink and I did like my beer(Treason) but the pizza was just okay. I don’t really know how to explain except to say that it looked like the Amy’s pizza I pull out of the freezer. Small, thin, not as cheesy as I wanted it to be. I’d go back if invited, but this probably wouldn’t be my first choice.

Had dinner with friends and family on Monday night 12÷1÷15. Everything was wonderful. The beers were right on. Everyone got a different style, all were happy. The starters were great, ate every piece on both plates. 5 out of the 6 got different dinners, All were very pleased with the meal. All enjoyed it very much. My woife went on and on about the lamb stew. Trust me, this one you can’t go wrong. All homeruns.

I have been here now a few times. The beer list isn’t huge but there’s something for everyone. I usually get a wheat beer but they turned me on to a brew called«Sinister». I really enjoyed it and actually feel like I could use one right now as I’m writing this review! We had lunch here and really everything looked awesome. I ordered the the Beets by Nick –Roasted beets, goat cheese, herb-roasted carrots, spicy pumpkin seeds, pine nuts, red onions, arugula, herb vinaigrette. I added chicken which was a good protein choice. I’m a huge fan of brussle sprouts and so I can’t wait to try the Kurt Brussel. Happy hour menu«small plats for $ 5» looks awesome and so we’re going to check that out today. The bartenders are friendly, our waitress was super energetic and friendly which was cool. I like the atmosphere of this place. So many cool spot in Denver, I wish there was a LowDown in Delray Beach,…that was be awesome.

Awesome service and great beer! The waiter was really accommodating to our needs. I really enjoyed my wine, forgot the name but it was champagne. We had also gotten the pizza, which was a bit salty but still pretty good! I really enjoyed coming here to check out the brewery! Also for parking, park in their lot! They have their own parking lot so don’t be like me and pay for parking at the meters!

My coworker and I went during our lunch break and we had a great experience. Both food and service was excellent. For appetizer, we got a half plate of meat and cheese. There 4 different of cheese to try and 3 different meats to select from and both of us really enjoyed it. We both got the half chicken sandwich and it was amazing. They had a wide selection of beers and the ones we tried were very good. If you like beers and to hang out with friend, this would be a great place to go for either lunch or dinner.

We like Lowdown a lot. We’ve come here about 5 – 6 times now and it’s always great. The bartenders are so over-the-top friendly they just make our day. Even if they didn’t have great beers we’d continue to come for that alone. And speaking of beers — I usually warm up with the patio pounding pilsner, which is appropriately named. I could drink this all day long. So I usually switch to the Lowdown IPA or a milk stout. Oh and you can order a Golden Shower here. Just sayin. Nobody even gets mad. The only food I’ve had here is the hummus plate and that’s delicious. I’m interested in trying the pizza sometime, and I want to have brunch here just for the names of the plates alone. It’s also extremely spacious and has a gorgeous patio that needs to be seen not described. I’m always excited to come here and I love the warm and welcome way that we are always treated. Keep up the excellent work! Cheers!

Came here with some friends to watch the Broncos game. The interior is really cool and trendy which is typical around this part of town. They have a good amount of TVs to watch the game. Since I don’t drink beer, I stuck with their house gin for around $ 5 a drink. When I order talls, I expect them to come in pints. This was more like a juice tumbler. They have an outdoor patio area where there’s lawn games and such. That’s pretty cool. The service here is average and parking is a nightmare.

This place is kicka$$. Came here last Wednesday night for a late dinner and some beers, and both were fantastic. I had the delicious house salad with grilled chicken, arugula, figs, jicama and toasted pumpkin seeds. It was huge, filling and so tasty. Often a house salad is a lame combination of lettuce, a few boring veggies and some gross cheese, but this was anything but. The beers we had were good too. The pale ale was my favorite, with good hoppy flavor. The Belgian white was also good(just had a taste), and nice and dry. My husband’s Golden Shower Belgian strong ale(not actually served warm directly poured into mouth) was excellent. My least fav was the pilz, which tasted ok at first but the more I drank, the closer it tasted to Miller Lite than Stella. But everything else I’d say was above average for a small local brewery(not that there aren’t a million really good small breweries in Denver, and most better than a lot of the larger ones). Our server was super helpful and cool, and we hung out until they closed at 11. Word of warning, the kitchen closes earlier(I forget if it was 9:30 or 10), so make sure to get your order in.

Swung by Lowdown a month or so ago with some friends for pizza and beer. This was my first time here, so I was really looking forward to trying it with said friends’s recommendation. The weather was gorgeous that evening, so we headed straight to the patio and shared a picnic table with a couple at the other end. The environment was a cross being backyard-y and beer garden-esque, and very comfortable for a casual weeknight dinner. Being IPA lovers, most of us ordered the Lowdown IPA, which I found to be very crisp, refreshing, and well balanced. The four of us also split the large pizzapodopolous(did I spell that right?), which was so delicious we nearly licked the pan. If you’re looking for a chill evening hangout in the Golden Triangle area, check out Lowdown. You won’t be disappointed.

Lowdown Brewery was our first stop during a week long Colorado trip and the experience really set the tone for the whole week! We arrived on a Saturday afternoon hungry for lunch and thirsty for beer. The waiter was super attentive and at our table within seconds of us sitting. He quickly got our beer orders and passed out menus. It was tough to decide but I went with the open faced chicken sandwich and tomato bisque. My husband tried out one of the pizzas. Others at the table all ordered pizzas, salads, and sandwiches. Everyone was really pleased with their meals and the beer. We all took bites off of each others plates and there was really nothing to be unhappy with! When we asked for refills of our beers, we were given them really quickly. Lastly, I’d like to talk about the atmosphere. What a great one! We started off inside as it was raining and the inside is very fun. After the rain let up, we really enjoyed our time on the beautiful outdoor patio. There are board games to play and lawn games set up on the patio. If I lived in Denver, I would surely be a regular at Lowdown!

I was in town visiting family, and they said that this was one of their favorite places. We were hungry, too. So, we stopped in for some specialty pizza and some beer. We grabbed some seats outside. The weather was ideal, and we did the bean-bag toss to kill time while we waited for our food. We ordered three varieties of pizza. My favorite was the pepperoni. Nothing really stood out for me, however. I did like the atmosphere, though. This is a good place to chill out and enjoy the company you’re with. Service was solid, too.
