I have lived by this place for last year but finally came here on Xmas eve due to no other places open on 17th. What a great find. I had the burger which is one of best I have had in town. I had fries which are ok but my mom has onion rings that were crunch and good. My dad had the shrimp po-boy that was good but spicy. No doubt I will be back for a burger

I had been to Hamburger Mary’s for drinks before, but had never eaten there. I was taking a one day class in the area and really wanted to try their food. I glanced over the menu the night before and knew exactly what I wanted. The LGBT. Yes, very politically correct, and an amazing sandwich. Amazing isn’t even the best word to describe it. It was pretty phenomenal. Lettuce, guacamole, bacon and tomato on toasted bread. It sounds so plain. It was nothing near plain. The guacamole was whipped together so well, it made the sandwich. Ozzing with this tasty guacamole, I was in heaven. It came served with well seasoned french fries on the side. The service was not the best I had ever had. Especially for a not so busy weekday lunch. I saw a few people come in after me, get seated, order and get their drinks before I was even greeted at my table. The sandwich made up for it though. I now have dreams of this sandwich and will be back to enjoy it again.

How I imagined my last order was processed in the back. The names have been fantasized to protect the guilty: Biff: Let’s see… They want an order of fried mozzarella, chicken tenders, and a hamburger. Gary: I’m on the cheese and the tenders! Larry: I’m on the burger! (Later) Gary: Ummm, we have a problem. The fried mozzarella cooked too long on the Sun. It’s very dark on the outside and all the cheese has leaked out of every single one and is pooling on the bottom of the plate. Biff: Gary, we’ve talked about this before. Which foods are listed in this restaurants name? Gary: Hamburger? Biff: Right, hamburger. Serve it fried mozzarella as is. No one expects anything that isn’t a «hamburger» here to be good. Gary: Ok, but the chicken tenders have been so fried by our array of ultra-high-wattage lasers that you could now use them as an absorbent towel! Biff: Gaaaaarrrrrrrryyyyyyyy! Gary: I know. I know. No one expects anything that isn’t a «hamburger» here to be good. Biff: That’s right! And, besides, that’s what the«dipping sauces» are for! Larry: Hey! The hamburger is done and, per the name of our restaurant, it’s decent! Biff: Send it all to the table! Gary: But… but… the pool??? Larry and Biff: Gaaaaarrrrrrrryyyyyyyy! Gary: Sigh. Fine. I know. I know. Send it to the table… UPDATE: Since this review was posted, the restaurant has changed its name to M Uptown. With the word HAMBURGER now missing from their sign as well, I don’t know *WHAT* they’ll be good at making now, if anything at all.

This establishment and management has worked very hard to step up their game. It’s obvious, and appreciated. Additionally, I’m a little sick and tired of broke queens bitching about prices in this town. Sweetie, if you can’t afford to drop $ 8 for a cocktail, get a second job. Seriously.

One of the better priced brunches in town. You might not want to take your Amish grandparents there, it might be a little shooing. However Excellent service, great food and the mimosas were right on point. I will go back for sure

Super fun bar atmosphere on the weekends… week days, not so much. The food is less desirable than one would like. It certainly falls into the bar food category yet they have a huge menu that competes with the size of cheesecake factor. If it’s a nice day outside the patio is an absolute MUST! Great seating, large space, fun music, monsters during the summer and a full bar outside! Would recommend for drinks and light food/apps on a weekend!

Love me some drag bingo on Tuesday nights. Free bingo, win drinks, see a show, have fun. Burgers are great, fries yummy, drinks a tad overpriced. Other food I heard is blah and cheap but I don’t have first hand experience. Drag was funny and free. Hosts great though idk what songs they performed. Call ahead and get reservations for bingo if in a large group.

I’d go again for drag queen bingo, and possibly a dessert. The burgers are mediocre at best, if you must eat something order the deep fried snickers. The bingo is really fun and a great place to meet with friends on a weeknight. There are also drink specials if you need a little something. Be sure to get there a little early so you can get a table next to the action. You can park in the their lot for $ 10, which you get back in ordering drinks or food.

What can I say… this place us amazing. In town just for the weekend. Stumbled upon this gem… they had their doors open(old garage doors) which exposed the beautiful weather inside. The food was to die for, the atmosphere was fantastic. They were doing karaōke. I’m a fan!!!

Amazing catering, incredible staff, unique VIP back patio location, easy parking for guests! When picking a place for your next event, definitely consider Hamburger Mary’s Denver; they recently hosted my party of 100 people on their back patio, and it was unforgettable; they also have a great space at their«Club M». My party featured their famous hamburger sliders, as well as chicken kabobs and a host of other yummy appetizers. Along with the food and amenities, they offered giant Jenga. Best part: I didn’t have to clean up after the party!

I love this place! The service is nice, the atmosphere is fun and the food is good. My favorite part about Mary’s is the naughty bingo nights! I come here for a fun inexpensive night out. There is parking across the street that cost 10 $ but if you go into Mary’s with your stub they will give you 10 $ cash back so parking is free.

Awful iced tea. That sets the tone. I was unimpressed with the food and delighted with the atmosphere. The décor is awesome and the layout works. It’s a fun place. Hamburger Mary was no where to be found. The service was at par. Nothing splendid. Wait staff young and clueless to many answers of my questions. A stouty beer is not Heineken. Staff walked around sort of puffed up and fake trying too hard. Was bizarre Twilight Zone-esque. Rubin sandwich was nicely presented but flavorless despite seemingly quality corned beef. Again, the iced tea was like water and yet I had 5 glasses of it. Macaroni and cheese bites were OK but hollowish inside. Fruity cosmopolitan beverage was not very strong and served in a funky glass. It’s all about presentation ’round he’ah. A lot of presenting was going down. They were busy setting up for Drag Queen Bingo and evicted me from my seat and table. Go for the scene; not the food. You’ll be glad you did.

in my last trip to Denver, I brought my friends out here to go eat at stuebens but unfortunately the wait was too long and we were hungry so we walked down the street to see what else was open. As we looked in the window, we saw that the place was pretty busy so we figured that the food must be pretty good here. Boy were we surprised when we came in here. Now as far as the food is concerned, this place is pretty good, for a starter we ordered the fried mac and cheese balls and the red chili nachos. I know were in Denver and we should be ordering it with green chili but had to go with what the table wanted. I don’t remember which burger I ordered but I can say that the portion size was good and the burger was cooked perfectly. Overall the food was good but just make sure your party is ok with the environment because it could make for a very awkward dining experience especially when your friends don’t like to be called«baby» by the male waiters.

The best burger I’ve had in a long time… I had a blast at hamburger Mary’s! Our waiter Leo wasn’t just attentive and fun, he was also the closest thing to a young Patrick Swayze I’ve ever seen in real life! I had the Black and Blue Boy Burger! If you like Cajun seasoning this one is for you! I recommend adding the grilled onions. The fries are not the main event at this restaurant like they are at other burger places, the burger really blew me away. We washed it all down with a round of Mamas Little Yella Pils and some Vegas bombs! Not to mention Drag Queen Bingo was happening in the front of the house! What a blast!

All I can say is THISPLACEISDELICIOUS! I love their Daddy Mac burger, which is a burger with cheddar cheese, macaroni n cheese, and bacon! Last Sunday, I decided that since it was our wedding anniversary, I should just go big or go home. I ordered their meat n taters, which has a hamburger patty, cheddar cheese, over medium egg, and green chili, but I did add mac n cheese and bacon. It was oh so good! The hubby ordered a reuben hamburger, which he liked. We always have spectacular service every time we come. We’ve been here on Tuesday for prime rib, Wednesday for a diff special, Friday for Dreamgirls, and Saturday for Mary-oke. I have never been disappointed. Also, make sure you try their fried Snickers dessert — absolutely HEAVENLY!

I know I’m not the target audience for this restaurant. I am a white, 40-something female dining alone at lunch. Know what? They don’t care! As far as I can tell, all are welcome at this wacky joint. I came in solo during day two of training because I wanted a burger and had heard Hamburger Mary’s was the place to go. I was right! Alex made me feel right at home as soon as I walked in the door. He was enthusiastic about his job and made tons of recommendations! I was in a burger mood and went with a basic Mary’s burger which was an out of this world thick cut party on a brioche bun, loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and Thousand island dressing. Loved loved loved this! Fries were crispy. Price was about what I paid at Park & Co but the atmosphere was way more my style. Yes, people were singing along to disco at noon. Who cares? I sang along with them! Yes I got called sweetie more times than I’m used to. Who cares? I actually enjoyed myself! Service was wicked fast, too, and I sort of wish they had been slow because I would have been content to just hang out here singing disco all day. I want to come back — need an excuse for more trips to uptown now!

This place is a caricature of a jazzed-up, eccentric, old-fashioned gay bar, and it’s great. The food is pretty decent, the drinks are good, and the staff is a bit slow with a bit of an attitude, but that is the allure. It is called CHARM. I see so many people complaining about the staff. These are probably the same folks who go to Gunther Toody’s and get mad that the wait staff acts like it is the 1950s. You know what you’re getting into if you come here: not the best food in the world nor town(heck not even in the same block), decent drinks, and an eccentric staff that knows they are part of the charm of the place. If you’re looking for a quick bite from a super-attentive staff that is at your beck-and-call, go elsewhere. If you’re looking for a place to chill out for awhile, with a change of pace from the other bars in the area, come down here.

After running some errands, Hubs wanted to have Lunch! Err, for one, its RARE for Hubs to have Lunch, but since it was our«Special» Day, he wants to have Lunch. This recent visit was on Sunday September 7th2014. Hamburger Mary’s have several locations in some part of USA some in California and some in the Florida and some in the Mid West. We have been to the ones in California many moons ago, and decide to try the one in Colorado Soil. YES, you can park across the street with a $ 10 Parking Fee validation ONLY at Hamburger Marys. Make sure you give your server the«Blue» Ticket, and then entitles $ 10OFF from your Meal @ Hamburger Marys. If I am NOT mistaken their SATURDAY Brunch is from 11:00am to 2:00pm, while their SUNDAYBRUNCH hours are from 10:00am to 2:00pm. From the extensive Menu, we opt to have the following items : * 1 order of Steak & Eggs * 1 order of Chili Fries * 1 order of Coke Cola(Fountain Drink) * 1 order of Coffee(Hubs order) * 1 order of Crab Cakes Benedict Our server Brad was indeed inviting, welcoming and the service was Prompt. Hubs like his order of Steak and Eggs and Chili Fries. I am OK with my order of Crab Cakes Benedict. All in all Decent Lunch/Brunch that morning/afternoon. Left this establishment about 13:00hrs ish.
