Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffees & Smoothies

Can’t say I’ve tried this place out because they were closed on Sunday. To be closed on a Sunday is definitely acceptable… as long as it is posted in your website. I drove a considerable time out of my way to try Maui Wowi over Jamba Juice. This is the time table posted on their website, yet when I arrived there was a sign posted in the window saying closed on Sunday’s. Can’t say I’d come back.

Really delicious coffee and super friendly staff – a must hit if you are in the area and need some caffeine.

Live in Lowry so go here at least twice a week since they opened… don’t sleep on this place, it’s a gem. Located adjacent to Lowry Beer Garden, across the street from 24-​Hour fitness, and an after-​dinner stroll from Café Mercato and North County Tacos.
Coffee — Hawaiian coffees (e.g. Kona), espressos, lattes, they can do it all and do it great.
Coffee smoothies — the Caramel and Coconut one is sinfully good. I recommend adding an Espresso shot to any coffee smoothie if you like it more coffee tasting as opposed to sweet/​milky.
Fruit smoothies — highly recommend, can stand toe to toe with anything from Jamba Juice. If I am craving a smoothie in Denver, this is where I go. Highly recommend the Wistful waikiki, Black lava beach, Hawaiian breeze, and Kona Rain. All smoothies made with a banana and probiotic yogurt.
Service — after dozens of visits, always friendly, quick, and courteous. Thumbs up.
Other tips — they sell snacks (Hawaiian cookies, candies), sandwiches and pastries, and there is seating inside (long bench) and outside (Adirondack chairs and bench), buy the Tiki cup (large size) and keep it in your car for refills at the price of a regular ($ 5)

Local shop that makes smmothies tastier than Jamba Juice… what more is there to say?! Super nice staff as well!

Great coffee and smoothie place! I came here on a really sunny day and it was a great way to quench your thirst. The staff was nice and the place is nice decorated (they have benches and chairs outside!) One other thing I liked it they sold Hawaiian products like wafers, cookies, and even slippers!
I got a strawberry and mango/​orange smoothie. Very tasty! I have to come back to try their coffee though, I saw they had flavors like macadamia nut! Yum!

Excellent coffee and smoothies and very friendly customer service. The first time we came in, we ended up talking to the manager for over an hour and he gave us a sample of their coffee smoothie.
Very nice to have an alternative in the area to Starbucks and Einstein’s.

Wonderful smoothies! Would suggest getting the largest size so you can get cheaper refills later. Great vibe and love the furniture.

Good to see something new in the area. Hawaiian coffee is hard to come by in the states so this is a great place with options. The location is nice with a friendly staff. They have terrific fresh smoothies and various types of coffee to choose from. Wishing Maui Wowi in Lowry the best of luck. All I can say is, it’s not Starbucks which is a great thing!
