Molly’s of Denver

I had a big professional event coming up and a friend suggested I shop at Molly’s of Denver. What a treat. I called ahead to share my needs and they were ready for me when I arrived. Was able to complete my wardrobe requirements and now have a new «go to» women’s clothing store when it comes to looking and feeling great.

I cant say enough good things about Molly’s of Denver. As a professional woman who needs to dress well and where time is precious, there is no better place to shop in Denver than Molly’s. They have been my choice for over 13 years and I have never been disappointed in the service or value. Susan and Molly work hard to ensure that I look stylish and feel comfortable. This is not an easy feat as I hate to shop and frankly dont have the time. What I love about Molly’s is that, as a non-​shopper who is more comfortable in sweats, I can go in and find an outfit that will make me look great in front of my clients without any of the attitude that one might find at an expensive clothing boutique or the «over-​the-​top» compliments in the hope that I spend more. They work with me on a personal level, they know my style and reach out to me when they have an outfit they know I will like. I am never called in for their purpose but for my purpose alone. If I happen to be out of town, they will ship my suites to my hotel so that I am constantly looking my best. Susan is amazing and Molly herself creates a great atmosphere for shopping when time is of the essence and you still have to look good. After 13 years, I shop no place else. I see no need.

I was in Denver for a conference and stopped by this lovely women’s clothing store that is right downtown, close to the convention center. Molly’s has clothing from really interesting designers. It is, indeed, the kind of boutique where it’s not easy to browse anonymously because it is small and the owner & women working here are very attentive. At the same time, I didn’t feel like they were condescending (as the previous commenter says), but were genuinely trying to help me. They offer refreshments and, once you discuss your personal style likes and dislikes, they really help you find clothing items that suit you. Molly’s carries clothing from designers that you won’t find in big department stores or discount stores — unique, lovely items that aren’t outrageously expensive. I had a wonderful experience here and I’ve gotten many compliments on the clothing I bought at Molly’s. I highly recommend the store to anyone visiting Denver, and I envy the women who live in Denver and have this shop as a wardrobe resource.

I’ll never darken their door again. I went in shopping for a dress for my better half and I was treated like something these snooty women would scrape from their shoes. Apparently they are making enough money that they don’t need new business. It reminded me of the scene in the movie Pretty Woman when Julia Roberts’ character goes into the Rodeo Drive shop full of snotty sales people — who make minimum wage by the way — and is treated like crap. Molly’s doesn’t deserve my money and they don’t deserve yours. Mariel’s is a MUCH more welcoming strore.
