Might be for you but if you are anything like myself you would despise this place. I couldn’t even get draft beer and once I ordered they couldn’t complete that correctly. Apparently after one hour inside I broke the dress code and I was told I couldn’t wear a hat. After seeing numerous people wearing head garments mainly women I decided it was time to leave. I will never return to this place

Drinks are average. They have a good happy hour so if you’re looking for good prices it’s hard to beat. However the cocktails just don’t compare to some of the better bars in Denver. Service was also average at best. I would recommend if you’re looking for something cheap and decent, but don’t expect it to blow your socks off if you’re looking for awesome craft cocktails.

I went to Mynt last Thursday night around 10pm and when I got there it was fairly empty and people starting showing up around 11. Decent mojitos although since its the main drink they serve, they should probably be better. They only had two tables inside and two outside so most people had to stand, even though they definitely didn’t want to. They had couches all around the walls, but they were«reserved» even though no one actually sat in them all night. Very diverse young crowd which was a positive, definitely an interesting vibe.

We stopped in here during happy hour while waiting to meet friends for dinner. The place was literally empty and we weren’t sure if they were open. The guy sitting inside on the opposite side of the bar we soon discovered was the bartender. We asked what he would recommend and he said the original mojito. He was right, it is awesome. Besides having no music and being the only people here, it was a really great drink at an unbeatable price of $ 4.

So to be clear, I went her just for happy hour. I have walked by it at night and the demographic is generally thuggish and uninviting. You can tell that it may not be the most peaceful joint when the sun goes down simply by viewing how buff and intimidating the bouncers are. Anyway, we went for happy hour and enjoyed some tasty, boozy mojitos from a pitcher. 16 bucks, bam. You can’t beat that! Can’t make it for happy hour? No worries there happy hour goes ’til 9pm. YES, 9 pm.

This review is just based on their Happy Hour. Why I’m a fan: $ 16 pitcher of good mojito(with fresh sugarcane stick), served about 5 full glasses Happy Hour until 9pm Not sure I’d hang out here for anything other than the cheap pitchers, doesn’t appear to be my scene.

You guys should at least post here or on your website that you are closed. I went in there probably a month ago, just to find out there was nothing inside, and this guy told us it was closed. What a waste of time! I was so mad, I had high expectations just to realize I couldnt even try this place out. Lame

Points for having a $ 4 Mojito in LODO. I thought it was too good to be true, and it was. This is not the worst mojito I have ever had, but I expected better. The«mint» is the signature of their cocktails, but the other ingredients were sub par. I did not care for the original mojito, but the one other person there was raving about the strawberry mojitos. The place was empty, and service wasn’t bad, but the surrounding bars were filling up, and there was just the two of us at Mynt. Looking around the place I could see(and smell) why. The furniture is in a sad state of disrepair. The floor appears to have been patched with different colored wood. The entire place looks unappealing, and what was that smell? The bartender was friendly and said if I came back later, the place would be so packed, it would be hard to move. Thanks for the tip. I went next door.

I went here after researching Denver happy hour deals and found that they have drinks for $ 4. I met some friends on a Friday evening around 6 or so. The place was EMPTY. We were the only 3 people there while all the other restaurants and bars in the area were packed. Feeling slightly awkward, we took a seat at the bar and ordered, me a strawberry mojito, my boyfriend a ginger mojito, and our friend ordered a cucumber mojito. The bartender was incredbily friendly and the drinks were delicious. The bartender said that the place gets busier as the night gets later so I would definitely want to go back when its not so eerily quiet and empty. Overall the price of the drinks and the drinks themselves make this place a good go-to for me.

If they called you Hercules, shouldn’t you be the strongest guy in the land? And if they called you Mynt Mojito Lounge, shouldn’t you have the best Mojito in the land? Someone forgot to give them a great recipe for a Mojito and they ended up with an ok recipe. It’s not great, just ok. It has good mint flavor, but the rest is bland. A little too much carbonation and not enough making me feel like I’m on vacation. The place smells great! However, looks run down and needs a pick me up. Damn I really wanted to love this place!

I LOVETHISPLACE! The mojitos are the bomb, Wednesday nights are the best nights because it isn’t crowded, there are DJ’s who actually know what they are doing and don’t play lame top 40’s bullshit, and the bartenders are super nice and actually want to get to know their patrons. I have no idea why others would rate this so low, because this bar has become my weekly regiment for stress release.

We tried their signature mint mojito, which was excellent. The best I’ve had. The bartender was also quick and friendly. So why the three-star review? The atmosphere. The place was dead. Granted, it was a Thursday night, but I have to imagine the subpar DJ had something to do with it too. The noise(music) level was probably a little loud. The place is decorated nicely though. There is lots of room to sit and room to dance.

The owner, Rasheed is the biggest piece of shit ever. My girlfriend was in communication with him a week prior to her birthday weekend to setup bottle service. He told her that he would take $ 20 off per bottle if we got 3 bottles and would also include 1 free mojito pitcher per bottle. His waitress tried to charge us for stuff other people in the party paid for when ordered and refused to fix the bill, now we’re in court over it.(As of March 2013 case has been resolved) I had a similar issue with this place a little over a year ago. I ordered a few pitchers of mojitos, some before happy hour and some after. When it came time to pay the bill there was a couple things on the bill I didn’t order and the waitress decided to alter the tip line to give herself a bigger tip. I have came to learn that anytime you do any type of big purchases with them whether it be bottle service or ordering a few pitchers of mojitos they seem to take advantage of the situation by overcharging you or adding stuff to your tab. When you try to talk to somebody about it including the owner nobody wants to do anything about it. I love the mojitos here, but given the problems I have had I can live without. If you must go here I recommend not opening any kind of tab and paying for anything as soon as you order it.

Small and packed liked roaches under sewer cap. So much in fact, that we walked in, went down the stairs(several at entry), and turned around and walked right back out. I’ll have to check this place out one minute after opening their doors to get a real feel for it.

I love the mojitos here and the $ 4 price tag until 9PM for happy hour just can’t be beat! Plus it’s not just the regular mojito on hh, it’s any number flavored concoctions. Friday I had the cucumber mojito and it was delish. Any of their beers are also on special– though not listed on the menu. It was completely dead in there when we came in around 6:30 which surprised me. The bartender was really nice. Hubs did NOT care for the music playing and he was ready to get out of there. But I love the drinks so it still gets 4 stars from me!

Happy Hour and Happy Hour only. This place boasts one of the longest Happy Hours in town. Mon-Fri 4pm-9pm and 5pm Happy Hour on Sat and Sun. Conveniently located on Market St. in between 14th and 15th this is the best place to stop in for drinks with the work crew. More times than none there is no one there for HH so bring a group and stay a while. I highly suggest trying one of the many excellent flavors of mojito. Cucumber, mango, strawberry, guava, passion fruit and of course… mint :-) Sure, these aren’t the strongest drinks out there but for a nice summertime hang out spot it’s a pretty good HH deal. I think they also have a cheese tray with fruits and what not — for those times you gotta nosh. Whatever happens, DONOT come once HH is over. This place turns into the typical LoDo spot for people who want to show off their money, their tanned skin, their hair with too much product, their fancy clothes, their«I’m better than you» attitudes. Moreover, the price of a mojito more than doubles and the lack of booze is SO not worth it. Overall, the place is clean and the bathrooms are well kept. The staff is polite, even when a drunken gal throws her mojito on to Market St. at 6pm on a Sunday! I was there — it happened — didn’t even get kicked out :-) For those who don’t like the flavored drinks there are plenty of beer and booze selections to choose from. But again, these can get pricey if it’s after 9pm. Next time you find yourself downtown in the early evening stop in and enjoy!

So this place has happy hour until 9p which is awesome. We were out celebrating a friend’s bachlorette and despite rushing, walked in the door at exactly 9:01. When we got into the bar these was exactly NOONE there(other than the bar tender and bouncer). Despite the lack of other patrons and it being a celebratory occasion for our group, they refused to forgive us the minute tardy and wouldn’t sell us a single drink at happy hour(read: 2 minutes earlier) pricing. Hey look, I realize that we were technically late and rules are rules… but if I had 0 people in my bar and some ladies looking to hang out, I might cut them a deal on the first round of drinks. We decided that if we were going to pay full price we’d rather go somewhere that had better ambiance and an existent crowd.

The cucumber mojitos were amazingly delicious. Just wonderful. Why do I start out a two star review with a sentence like that? Well… because even though the mojitos were delicious, mojitos in general are supposed to contain alcohol. The happy hour prices are AMAZING for alcoholic drinks, and HORRIBLE for the wonderful sugary, yet seemingly virgin, drinks I received. I’m not a huge guy, and it seems to me that 1 individual mojito along with a pitcher split with the lady in an hour’s time should have given us at least some sort of buzz, right? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. On the bright side, Euclid Hall is right around the corner and I love me some poutine.

Booty, booty, booty, booty rockin’ everywhere. Booty, booty, booty, booty rockin’ everywhere. Booty, booty, booty, booty rockin’ everywhere. Rockin’ everywhere. Rockin’ everywhere. That about sums up my night. Booty rollin’. Shakin’. Gyrating and droppin’ it like it’s hot. If you’re all dolled up and looking to drink, dance and meet Mary … or in my case, Harry, Mynt Lounge is the spot… at least on Thursday. Can you imagine how wild the weekend gets? The music playlist was filled with everything from Pit Bull to B.E.P. And I loved it. Lots of eye candy, too. Especially the señoritas. And they have bottle service for you bottle poppers who make it rain. But if you want to chill at the downstairs connected bar, they prefer that you don’t sneak through the side. Walk out the door and around. «We want to keep a distinction between Mynt Lounge and [insert other bar’s name which I forgot because I was tipsy].»
